Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

OP posts:
Kaylo · 08/10/2009 23:47

In his [weak] defense, he did move out for about 4 or 5 years when he was married but he got divorced in 2001/2002, and moved back in.

I don't reckon he's in a rush to move out either cos he's got his bread buttered really. Meals cooked for him, laundry washed/ironed for him, somewhere to sleep...all this and he doesn't work. Not because he can't tho, he's just a sodding lazy tw@t. Git. I work full time and I'm the only one of 3 siblings that has a job!!

Ah well, theres my confession/family embarrassment done

Kaylo · 08/10/2009 23:47

gigglebiz??

nymphadora · 09/10/2009 08:37

Morning everyone:-)

awful cramps today almost tempted to head back to the pill!

Muser · 09/10/2009 09:27

Morning!

Hope you're making it through the cramps nymphadora. I am exhausted today. In work for 8am as I have so much to do and my brain is mush. Thank god it's Friday!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 09/10/2009 11:27

morning ladies!

ouch nymph pop those drugs while you can hope it eases.

kaylo gigglebiz is on cbeebies. It's kinda the Fast Show for under 5's. Mum thinks it's hysterical and to be fair it's the only comedy show she's ever watched where one of us doesn't have to explain the jokes . I do love my mum. Remind me in several years time not to be soft on moving out! Your brother really does have it sorted.

Well good news - I actually have clear stretchy cm this morning! Yay!! Didn't get it last cycle at all. Will do an opk after lunch but luckily we started the shagathon last night so if I don't get up the duff this cycle, it won't be because of mis-timing! What a ridiculous thing to get excited over!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 09/10/2009 11:29

god, I'm garbled this morning! I'm trying to work out what to take for this weekend plus what to pack for small person going to mum & dads....argh brain hurts!

Indeed, muser thank crunchie it's friday

pointsmakeprizes · 09/10/2009 12:35

Good luck for anyone doing the shagathons over the next few days! Started acupuncture this week, it was the one thing that worked for us last time so giving it another try. Got another appt next week, this week had pins in my legs and one in my head and fell into a really deep sleep quickly so must be doing the job of relaxation!. Not expecting to ovulate for another 10 days or so taking it easy and trying to not to obsess at the moment.

kkas · 09/10/2009 13:42

hi guys - can i catch a seat at the back of the bus? AF got me yesterday so I've just hopped off june.

I've taken the liberty to update the list for today, adding me at the bottom. I'll go back and read posts over the weekend to catch up!

Do we have cake on this bus too?

No cake on here so I'll pass round choccy biscuits!

mabh · 09/10/2009 15:19

Oh I dunno... I've just been on one of my twice-annual trips to M&S, so here's a lemon cake with icing and little bits of lemon zest on the top. Help yourselves.

givecarrotsachance · 09/10/2009 17:07

Oooh I'm so glad there's cake on this bus! I've just popped on the lappie to convert F to C in my old cake baking book. Made jelly today in prep for Sunday's party, and bought lots of cake decs at Sainsburys. Just got DS from school so we're gonna have fun this PM.

VV tired today. My only day off work but I've just crashed for no real reason other than perhaps the hormones from the mirena are working their way out. Stuck a casserole on for dinner in the slow cooker to leave the oven free for sweet stuff (hurrah) so after DS is in bed I can officially go off duty.

DS came home with a beet (sp) baby today. WTF is a beet baby and what am I supposed to do with it????

OK so none of this has anything to do with TTC! But noone else is listening LOL. Actually DH is working VV hard on a project which is all consuming and I'm being supportive (for "supportive" read "listening for hours while he goes on about boring work stuff"). But that's ok. He's gorgeous and even though there's no sign of CF yet I might just jump him tonight FTHOT.

Sort of feeling, though, like it's not really worth it when it's not for TTC. Which is really stupid as we've always had plenty of fun in that dept. Is that just me????

WickedWitchSouthWest · 09/10/2009 17:46

oo yum mabh that will go very nicely with my scheduled cup of tea . I normally bake quite a bit but just haven't had time this week! Promise to put in some effort next week

Hi kkas sorry you've had to join us...but at least you get to go to the back-seat party

lol at carrots rambling away sometimes mn is the only place where somebody is listening! No clue what a beet baby is! And as for not really bothering with non-ttc sex, i do know what you mean, but we're trying to keep things more normal this month. Altho I did have to stop myself getting into a ttc approved position and sticking legs in the air after last night . That will happen tonight!

Opk showed a fairly strong, but not strong enough, line earlier so looks like I WILL ov this month, hurrah!

nymphadora · 09/10/2009 19:09

Yum cake!

Wwsw I know what you mean dp lol at me thother day when I started to move around !

givecarrotsachance · 09/10/2009 20:55

LOLOL DH and I just had a "discussion" about some stupid thing, you know, then after a bit of shouty stuff we both remembered we love each other and as a make-up ritual we ate 1/2 of DS's birthday cake! Well 1/4 really as it was 1/2 of the bottom half of a 2-part sponge cake. I was going to cook the top tomorrow and ice it in the evening ready for Sunday. Looks like I'm baking more than I thought I might tomorrow - good job I bought loads of flour today! It was niiiiice as well, that plainspongenotlongoutoftheoven nice.

So having made up one way, I guess we need to finish the job . See you ladies tomorrow!

MrsRigby · 09/10/2009 21:05

Christ almighty, I though June had a big list. Talk about depressing.

MrsR we are not depressing. How can you say that when we have galaxy
and cake on our bus.

Who wants to have a baby in June anyway, neither here or there imo. July is much better, school holidays to get to know each other.

How are you anyway?

carrots yumm, warmoutoftheovencake Enjoy the rest of your evening,

wwsw good news about the line, fingers crossed for you.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 10/10/2009 00:02

mmmmmcaaaakkkkeeeeee!! v jealous!

Also on the upside, my rather gorgeous neighbour just blatantly flirted with me on msn lol. Brilliant, am obviously not over the hill just yet!

Dh is due home any minute and he has precisely 10 minutes to drink a cuppa and wash the london scuzz off before I jump him

nymphadora · 10/10/2009 08:47

July would be a good time for me as dp is a teacher and would bearound whilst I recover from my section!

givecarrotsachance · 10/10/2009 10:26

nymphadora why section? That's forward planning

Well we did the deed, but not feeling positive about it (meaning, don't think it was the right time) but I'm quite upbeat as realistically (as we worked out last night) it's only 1 1/2 weeks since we removed the mirena so hardly a shock I've not OV yet - not to mention we agreed originally to wait to TTC until I'd had 1-2 good cycles, so I'm very ahead of myself!

So off to bake more for tomorrow. Thank goodness for MIL's gift of the WI cook book!!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone, and happy bonking

Carrots xxx

Muser · 10/10/2009 10:47

The bonking might surprise you carrots!

I am a July baby and they are clearly the best . AF has officially gone, don't think we're going to plan this too hard as it's the first month. I think just lots of dtd and see what happens. Don't want to get too serious too quickly!

Pinkwine · 10/10/2009 11:41

Hi everyone,
Feeling bit pants today, got really nasty cough and just generally feel naff!
Still no sign of AF yet though! Hope you are all well, have a good weekend

nymphadora · 10/10/2009 12:28

carrots had two already so that's it and after attempting vbac last time I wouldn't again as they just don't fit!

TeaFan · 10/10/2009 12:34

Hi all, you've all been busy the last few days, is there any cake left?

Pinkwine, sorry you're not feeling well but no AF could be good, are you planning to POAS again?

CD9 here so really should start BDing, really want this month to be the one! I'm loving the list of reasons to have a July baby and would like to add one. Being born in July would make the baby's starsign Cancer, the same as my Mum (who is lovely by the way)

givecarrotsachance · 10/10/2009 12:52

nymphadora I see. LOL @ don't fit . Just that way sometimes, isn't it. Last time must have been a "nuisance" though, going through BOTH labour AND the pain of a section afterwards

Right, going offline now. Step away from MN.

FactsAndFigures · 10/10/2009 15:44

Hi all,

Well I succumbed to the Boots BOGOF First Response OPK offer. Started yesterday which was either CD9 or CD12 (depending on whether I count from 1st proper day of bleeding or from when I had intermittent spotting when I wiped (sorry if TMI! )

So yesterday's test = a prominent reference line and pale test line, this morning's test had no test line how can a test line disappear, I thought it would have continued and grown stronger until ovulation? And I'm pretty sure that I've not ovulated yet as I've not had any CM!

Anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome?
