Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

Congrats to WWSW, hope yours is the first of many BFPs!

BD time for us this weekend and DH is away Fri to Mon . Have about an hour together on Fri so he had better brace himself!
Not looking forward to the 2ww though, I hate how every little twinge is a 'symptom'

WickedWitchSouthWest · 21/10/2009 22:40

thanks chalky I just hope it sticks...I'm having that horrible paranoia now and wondering what this little twingey feelings are.... How rude of your dh to bugger off on the most important weekend! I hope that hour on Friday doess the trick - it only takes one, after all

bubbalewy · 21/10/2009 23:21

wwsw cogratulations .. lots of sticky luck for you x
Im so glad ive been referred by my GP too bingo rub off your luck on us lot pleasssse

latestincarnation · 22/10/2009 07:15

Another BFN for me this morning so its not looking good - I might see some of you on the september bus (but hopefully not IYKWIM)

Good luck everyone!

randomimposter · 22/10/2009 07:49

hey latest incarnation it's not over til it's over IYKWIM....

no plans here to do any tests until middle of next week... suspect that won't be necessary, but hey, let's keep positive.

BTW how wrong IS it to have G&B Butterscotch for breakfast

nymphadora · 22/10/2009 07:55

Nothing wrong with G&B for breakfast as long as you hide in the kitchen away from dc

Agree chocolate for breakfast is perfectly acceptable as long as nobody under the age of 10 catches you!

latest it's not over yet, I hope yours is just a bit shy. Fingers crossed for you.

Gosh, look at the front of the bus! Hopefully we'll have a good flurry of bfp's in the next week

In fact I think we're almost at double decker proprotions now aren't we?

Muser · 22/10/2009 08:41

Oooh, testing times are coming! Everyone at the front go POAS!

asianbabe · 22/10/2009 09:22

Another stupid question from me if my last AF was on the 10.10.09 what CD am I on today.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/10/2009 09:39

lol asianbabe. You count CD1 as the first day of spotting/sludge. So if your first day was 10 Oct then you are on CD13. Time to jump your dp/dh I think! Did I show you Fertility Map ? It's really useful and I found it very accurate (backed up with CM monitoring and opk). hth

lucylev · 22/10/2009 09:52

Day 13 for me too asianbabe, My cycle was 5weeks last month so im going to start BDing this week until the 1st Nov and hopefully strike lucky!

NorkyButNice · 22/10/2009 09:53

Come on you front-runners - go and get testing! Can't wait for a run of BFPs!

Ovulation day for me here, although I had bad tummy cramps last night which I think means the egg is released then. Typically DH was working overnight so we might have missed our chance...will be seducing him tonight in case we can catch the egg!

My dodgy knee is recovering so hopefully I'll manage to perform without too much pain!

Lifeistooshort · 22/10/2009 10:12

I have just seen the news. Soooooooo pleased for you WW when I read the update before I saw the news, I thought the crap skin and tears sounded hopeful. See all that positive thinking worked as you are the first BFP on this thread. So big huge CONGRATULATIONS! and now repeat after me "this bean will stick as it is very sticky...this bean will stick as it is very sticky....this bean will...."

Not much going on here apart from very busy at work. I do need to get a move as am approching "fertile period".

A big welcome to all the newbies too

FanjolinaJolie · 22/10/2009 10:14

excuse the obvious error lol. Mush for brains

GhoulsAreLoud · 22/10/2009 10:30

Thanks wickedwitch, I can't remember what the drill is now, do I make a Dr appt then get referred to the m/w?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/10/2009 10:45

um yeah I think so. My gp wants me to wait until my period is actually late (that's Tuesday!) then I'll phone and get referred on Can you get a phone appt rather than dragging yourself into the germ-ridden surgery? That's my plan!

GhoulsAreLoud · 22/10/2009 10:49

Don't think they do phone appts, have phoned and made an appt for this morning. Hoping it will help it to sink in!

PollyPoo · 22/10/2009 10:53

Congrats Ghouls!

Bad news from me today I'm afraid. The 'implantation bleed' I thought I was having yesterday turned into full flow AF last night. 5 days early too. Soooo fecked off.

So I'm off the bus and waiting for the August one. Good look laydeez and I hope you get some more bfp's very soon!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/10/2009 11:00

polly I'm sorry good luck for next time.

ghouls I still keep looking at the cbd Good luck with the gp - try not to breathe too much in the waiting room!

FactsAndFigures · 22/10/2009 11:07

Hi All,

I've not been around for a while the dreaded D&V bug has been doing the rounds in the F&F household over the last week

Congratulations to WWSW and Ghouls on your BFPs

I'm not sure what's happening with me this cycle, I'm on CD22 and this morning I had lots of CM and stomach cramps but my UCL is 28 days, which would be too late to ovulate, right? However, last month my cycle lasted 38 days, so if does this again this month could it be that I'm O'ing today???
