Ozziegirly · 14/10/2009 23:56

Yay blues that's brilliant news, I'm so thrilled!

Well our lucky little thread has started to work again - excellent to have two BFPs in two days! Yippeee!

CurlyCasper · 15/10/2009 06:23

Congrats again blue (from other thread). Period arrived this morning - unexpected after my 38 day cycle last one. This one was 26!

bluesnowfalcon · 15/10/2009 06:50

Thanks all for the good wishes! I think i'm 3-4 weeks as first day of last period was 35 days ago so going on clear blue leaflet I'd be 3-4 weeks.

ladyem I'd love to be a bump buddy!

Take care all and baby dust to everyone

kkas · 15/10/2009 09:51

Congrats to ladyemma and bluesnow. I hope you stick around and let us all know how you're getting on!

Thanks to everyone for your finger-crossing. With af being a few days late, I had secretly started hoping for a thread hat-trick this month.

But alas, no. CD1 for me.

Curly, looks like we're cycle buddies this month.

I'll probably be a bit elusive over the next two weeks, always feel a bit deflated at the start of the cycle. But I'm not leaving you girls, promise! Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi all. Congrats Blue, seeing another BFP is wonderful!

AF was a bit slow off the mark for me, been spotting for a few days, but she's finally arrived with a vengeance today. I knew I was going to be in for a rough one when I had cramps before the bleeding even started!

So, back to CD1 for me as well, sadly. Can I cycle buddy with you this month, Curly and Imma? Though I tend to disappear off for the first week or two as well. So depressing sometimes to even contemplate TTC when AF is giving you a hard time!

Hi everyone. So happy for all of you who have made it this month! Just heard from a friend that she is 3 months pregnant with #1, so happy for her, they've been TTC for ages. That's the second announcement I've heard this week, aside from all of you of course, hope it's a sign!

We aren't having many opportunities to work on making our own bundle of joy. DH invited a friend who was having a hard time to stay for a while. His heart's in the right place but it puts a bit of a dampner on our sex life. It does make things quite exciting though, we are grabbing every opportunity to hit the bedroom when our house guest is out. Feels like when we first got together!

Ozziegirly · 16/10/2009 01:33

Sorry to hear AF hit Imma and spirael and curley.

I can't imagine I will be adding to the BFP list this month as although I am CD23, yet again, I don't have a single symptom and feel totally normal.

I'll be waiting for AF to arrive next Saturday though as my cycle was inexplicably 30 days last month so I don't want to waste testing early.

aly323 · 16/10/2009 04:34

imma and curly, sorry to hear af arrived. Just think, the tww will be here again before you know it. Funny how time (at least for me) now seems totally focused around where I am in my cycle. The first 15 days of my cycle are almost like a big hole. Then comes bd time, and o, then the tww, then testing time, and so on. I'm now even planning vacations and trials around where I'll probably be in my cycle. This is out of hand.

I'm probably going to be taking a little break from mumsnet as well. Real life is calling and I'm up to my nose in work . I'll check in on everyone, but probably won't be posting for a couple weeks. Hopefully there will be lots more BFP action between here and there!

zippys · 16/10/2009 08:25

Morning everyone,

I am so confused with my cycle, according to dates ovulated yesterday but other signs suggested I ovulated middle of last week.
I am still feeling pretty crap, always tired, feel sick this morning and have tender boobs but not getting my hopes up as I could just be coming down with something and I may have only ovulated yesterday!

Sorry to hear the arrival of AF, Imma, curly and spirael, I know what you mean about the fist couple of weeks.

Ozzie you never you know some peoples symptoms come later, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. How is the house hunting going?

aly I hope you are not too busy with work and we will look forward to you popping in for a quick hello.

chalky you never know the extra excitement might just whats required and this could be the month for you!

Good luck to anyone coming up to testing, with my stupidly long irregular cycles I am trying to hold out for a least a couple of weeks (not sure how the poas addict in me will cope )

Hi everyone, congratulations to the BFPs!

I am still on 2ww and have a few minor things, felt a bit sick a few mornings, sore breasts but nothing too significant. Not really sure when OV was as find CM difficult to read but think it was last weekend.

jumblequeen · 17/10/2009 16:58

Hello! About to approach month two of TTC... I've spent so much of my adult life trying not to have babies I think I assumed it would just... happen. C'est la vie. So nice to have so many of you in the same boat - though I hope we all leave it soon!

Trying4Baby1 · 17/10/2009 18:43

Hi fulham had my first scan on Thursday and everything looked good. There's definately a baby in there and it was moving about too much to get a good pic so we've to go back on Tues to see if she can get a better view. Was a bit nervous before we went in so glad everything went well.

bluesnowfalcon · 17/10/2009 20:06

tryin4 how far are you then? Glad all ok and you've got an active one

spookypixiebroomstix · 18/10/2009 14:53

God, I go away for a couple of days and people start getting knocked up left, right and centre!!
So happy for you Em and Blue although totally jealous too of course!
I am heading for AF within the next five days so could technically start testing now but am heeding Fulhams advice and trying to leave it as long as possible. No symptoms at all, but you can't help hoping can you?
Also I have to fly in two weeks time and I would be very very nervous about that if I had just got a BFP so I guess its not all bad.
Hoping Zippys and Ozzie will soon be joining the BFP list!

bluesnowfalcon · 18/10/2009 18:34

spooky - i had no symptoms either! Really thought it wouldn't be this time
