Yes, welcome to the newbies, and good luck!

And those statistics are interesting as well. I wonder why it goes down - is it that eggs are less likely to be good or you are less likely to actually release one?

I have to say, I did expect to fall a lot quicker, I'm on my 6th cycle now I think and still nothing.

Yet again at CD19 I don't have a single symptom. Am crossing fingers that I am just hoping too soon.

bluesnowfalcon · 12/10/2009 08:21

Hi all - need some thoughts here! I POAS this morning but only an ebay cheapie and got a faint line what do you think? Crappy test or posibly a BFP????

Have sent a friend out to buy a first response or a clear blue today while I'm at work! Any thoughts anyone??

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 12/10/2009 09:03

Oooh Blues its been said many times over on these boards, a line is a line is a line...

Fingers crossed that you get confirmation tonight - keep us informed.

Muser · 12/10/2009 09:28

Sounds like it could be a BFP! Fingers crossed.

chalky3 · 12/10/2009 10:05

Hi everyone, I would like to join u on this thread as a first timer.
I've been putting the baby making off for years with excuses like too young (31 soon, who am I kidding!), not married (just had 2nd wedding anniversary), career, etc. Basically I'm terrified that we wont be up to the job. Friends say there's never a right time and we will make it work.
Earlier this year my plans to relocate on a promotion with work were postponed due to 'restructuring and cost saving measures'. First thing DH said when I told him was 'oh well, maybe we should try for a baby then'. Couldn't believe it, so excited, guess it's what I really wanted after all! He even says he'll quit work to be a house husband, not sure he's thought that through properly, lol!
We're now on the monthly roller coaster ride. AF was four days late last time, it's a form of torture!

Been enjoying reading your updates. Good luck to everyone, hope some of us make it happen soon!

You're right about the monthly rollercoaster! I'm pretty sure this month is not the one for me, bfn this morning. I ov'd two days later this cycle than the last, so af not technically due until Wednesday, but still, I don't think this is the month. I just hate this waiting!!

Welcome Chalky!

Good Luck Blue with the second test, but I agree with everyone else, a line is a line!

DH goes to spain on sunday to see his folks for a few days, so if AF hasnt arrived by then, then Im going on a POAS spending spree.

Well I have had no more spotting since yesterday. I swear I am becoming far to impatient to play mothers natures monthly guessing game. Ive got to the point where the monthly symptom spotting is becoming hard to beleive. Im trying to not to be excited by them, but its getting harder to know if there real or not. But I guess its the same for all of us?

pixiestix · 12/10/2009 10:57

Wow, loads of newbies!

Bluesnow - Eeeeek! Sounds like a BFP! I am going to be checking this page all day now to see if there is any news!!

So many people coming up to AF time - I am feeling nervous even though I've still got two weeks to go myself!

pixiestix · 12/10/2009 10:59

x-post with Em - you are being so strong not to test yet! I would have cleared the shelves in Poundland by now!

fulhamgirl · 12/10/2009 13:44

Heya guys just reading up on your posts really intresting about the FF info.

*imma- sorry to hear about your BFN its so hard really cause even though with things like a FF ustill cant put an excat day on the day youve ovulated. Anyway as I said you will be there by xmas !

blue Sounds like a positive to me huni u cant get a false positive a if a line was there faint or not if it was visable to u (which it was) then yes u defo are I wont say my congrates yet though until your sure but I would be very excited if I was u.

welcome everyone new good luck on your journeys. Everyone in here will help u with any questions they are such a lovely group of people u will make some lovely friends and get good honest advice.

lady Sounds promising as well. Unfortuanly u can get preggers symtoms the more u think about it but the spotting is a good sign hun. Try and hold out as long as u can. And maybe hold of the drinking in Spain if you still have no show of AF.

Good luck again everyone. I wont post much but I still read your comments waiting for them BFP's and also if there is any advice I can give anyone.

Again so much luck to u guys!!

I just wanted to say a quick welcome to everyone who just joined in. Looks like we'll have a bunch of us testing right around the same time!

Also, Blue and Ladyem, I'm on the edge of my seat and hoping for some GREAT news!

CurlyCasper · 12/10/2009 19:27

Just a quick visit after a week away dealing with real life. Think I'm going to give in to my long cycles. Let's go with a UCL of 38 days. Better too long than too short! Hope all are well

Curlycasper TTC#1 Cycle2 UCL38 CD24

Ladyemmalou83 · 12/10/2009 20:22

Hi Fulham.

Its does sound promising but until 2 lines come up on the test Im ignoring it, or trying to. And dont worry, DH is off to spain, not me. I havent had a drink in a month now, and gonna keep it that way.

fotheringhay · 12/10/2009 20:37

Hi everyone, I'm in the two week wait again after using a digital fertility test this month, so I reckon this is our best chance yet. I don't feel any different (on day 19), but not reading too much into it.

Next month it won't be possible to try because DH will be away.

Unfortunately I'm having serious stress at work at the moment and I really hope that doesn't affect my chances, eek!

Best of luck to you all.

kkas · 12/10/2009 22:12

BABY DUST TO ALL

bluesnowfalcon · 13/10/2009 08:02

ladyem don't mind at all as it seems AF has arrived today which I guess means that the faint lines either were imagined or evaporation lines! Anyway I guess that puts me back to

bluesnowfalcon TTC#1 Cycle 4 UCL33 CD1

Thanks for all the thoughts and best wishes you all sent yesterday though

kkas · 13/10/2009 08:56

as blues sorry to hear about AF.... i blame the cheapo tests!

fulhamgirl · 13/10/2009 09:09

blue - Hun im really sorry to hear that. It is true sometimes your eyes can see what they wanna c when I was ttc I kept looking at the tests so much and convincing myself there was another line there its horrible and u can get evaporation lines aswell which really does not help.

On a positive note though at least your back on CD1 and your cycles are regular so you know when to start up the Bding again. Get the wine out and choccies tonight. I do know how it feels to think there is a faint line then AF arrives its the worst feeling in the world. So sorry hun!! I still stick to what I said u will all have BFP's by xmas.

lady- oh sorry hun I though u were going with him lol so whilst he is soaking the sun up your stuck in freezing cold England its so not fiar really lol. .
Have you had anymore signs? Are you going to test again soon?

How is everyone else? Its so cold this morning really didnt want to get out of bed at all !!

xxxxxxx

Spirael · 13/10/2009 11:57

Hi all! Nothing to report here... Just waiting for AF really. I've had no symptoms at all and don't feel even slightly pregnant, so I'm pretty sure this cycle has been a dud. Ah well!

At least when AF does show up it'll make dating easier again for the future. With any luck my next cycle should be easier to judge ovulation too, without my temperature chart being all over the place and almost unreadable for the first half of the month!

I get the feeling that next month might be the month anyway, because my DH and my best friend both have exactly the same birthday in late July... So if sods law is going to bite me then it'll make sure that DC1 ends up having the same birthday too!! (And DC2, DC3... )

Sorry to hear about your test disappointment bluesnowfalcon. Hopefully it's secretly a foreshadowing to a strong positive next month!

Glad to hear your news, Sevans! Hopefully your cycle will settle down and there'll be even better news on the horizon.

Good luck to everyone testing soon! If my AF hasn't shown by the weekend (it's due tomorrow...) then I may sneakily POAS on Saturday morning, but I expect I won't need to.

ImmaterialGirl · 13/10/2009 12:05

Hi all,

Sorry to hear about your disappointment bluesnow -hope you get some quality ice cream tonight.

Still no af for me, but based on ov dates I really don't think it's due until tomorrow, even if my cycle has gone over what it was last month. I'm also feeling a bit crampy, so pretty sure it's going to be all over soon.

fulham I'm really glad you're sticking around. You have to tell us how you get on with appointments and how you're feeling...

And spirael it does sound like next month is predestined to be your month

Hope everyone has a good day!

OP posts:
Ladyemmalou83 · 13/10/2009 13:05

Blue Im really gutted for you. Fingers crossed for next month.

Fulham I really wish I was going to Spain with DH, but alas Ive stupidly let my passport expire so its a no go for me, but I did have a few weeks out there in Jan and DH didnt. Ive got him his flight as his birthday present, so he can spend it with his mum and dad who he misses dearly. I feel a bit sicky this morning, which Im putting down to tiredness after last nights shift. I normally do feel sick in the morning, but once Ive got some sugar in me Im generally good, however today I have had a drink and something small to eat and I still feel a bit sick. I guess I could be nervous about testing or AF . I know what you mean about it being cold, I left work at 4am this morning and I had to scrape some light ice off the windscreen. Almost winter!

bluesnowfalcon · 13/10/2009 13:12

Ok - really confused as AF seems to have vanished again! Had a litlle this morning and since before 10am it seems to have gone away again.

My friend was saying that a lot of people loose a pregnancy the first time without even knowing it - wondered if that was me as I've had faint positives on 3 different types of tests even this morning! So maybe I had the HGC hormone and body trying to tell me something! I just wish it would shout a bit louder as I can't seem to understand what is going on

Ladyemmalou83 · 13/10/2009 13:44

I know its a silly question but are u sure uve not got implantation bleeding??? Your friend is right though. I only got faint BFP before and then a few days late AF came. Doc confirmed that it was prob very early mc, or a chemical pregnancy. Is it worth testing again?
