lucy yeah sticks are simple, just start peeing on them fro cd10 (i pee'd in a cup then dipped the sticks in when i have used them) and test for i think its around 7 days every morning. you get two lines or a smiley face (depending on what ones you use) when your ovulating. I dont use them anymore just go by cervical mucus and mittelschmitz pains to know when i am ovulating. usually works effectively

NewMember · 08/09/2009 20:18

Hi everyone!

Ouch still no luck for me, I am now going into cycle 7 - think i will stop joining any particular month! The next time u hear from me is to hopefully pop in with a BFP!

Good Luck to you all

MrsRigby · 08/09/2009 20:34

Evening

WARNING WARNING WARNING - I am not in a good mood .

I contacted my manager to inquire about a reduction in hours when I return to work in November (not that I want to go back) and basically they can't give me what I want. If I do decide to go part time it affects not only my salary and annual leave, but maternity leave. I don't know what to do, time is running out fast and it seems that I'm waiting for a solution to just appear out of nowhere.

I've been thinking of working from home, but don't know what to do.

DH say's we need about £200 a month, so I'm sitting here trying to think of somethink I can do from home that will bring in about £200 a month. Any ideas?

I've no idea wether DH is on the line or not. He deals with the financial side of things. He's allocated £200 to each of us to spend a month and won't consider taking away mine. He doesn't think spending less on shopping will make any difference. He's still donating to charity and I think he's putting money into a savings account. Maybe he's just playing it safe.

I just keep crying, I can't bring myself to talk to DH.

I suffered postnatal depression after DS was born and didn't bond with him or feel any love for him until about 3 months ago.

I feel that he's being taken away from me, just as I've started to love him and enjoy being with him.

Okay I'm welling up again...

I don't know, I don't know if I'm making any sense.

On top of all that, I've had some spotting. CD39 I won't hold my breath that it's implantation spotting, more likely I'm finally going to have a period in a day or two.

Ladyemmalou83 · 08/09/2009 20:59

MrsR sorry u havent had a good day. Big hugs to you. You are making perfect sense.

My SIL went through the exact same thing when her DD came along, I think it took her about 6 month to start a relationship with her.

Maybe wait to see if the spotting is glorious implantation, and go from there?

Sorry, im a bit hopeless when it come to advice

MrsRigby · 08/09/2009 21:09

Thank you so much ladyemmalou83. I think I'll take your advice .

Ladyemmalou83 · 08/09/2009 21:11

you know we are always here. Just CAT me if u ever want a chat

Ladyemmalou83 · 08/09/2009 23:30

Blimey its quite on here tonight....

Is it really obsurd to want to drive to 24hr tesco and buy lots of tests?

Have told DH im going in the morning on the way to work to buy baking potatoes, (and sneakily a few HPTs maybe)........

Oh no, think Im becoming POAS obsessed...HELP!!! Im being far to hopeful, AF no doubt is gonna come kick me 2moro

MrsRigby · 08/09/2009 23:43

Definately on a period now, I suppose I should be happy about that at least.

Went to bed about an hour ago, DH fell asleep, I started crying uncontrolably, DH and I had an argument and DH has walked out.

MrsRigby · 09/09/2009 07:21

Morning.

He came back last night. This morning we're not talking and he's acting like nothing has happened.

He just kept going on last night about wanting a safety net, he doesn't seem to understand how bad things are. He wouldn't be bothered if I went on anti-depressants, he suggested going on them before. He told me I'll be okay when I go back to work.

Basically it's not so much about the money, more what he wants, that's the message I'm getting.

I'm going to the baby clinic tomorrow, so I'll ask the doctor if he can sign me of work with stress.

lucylev · 09/09/2009 07:26

keep smiling Mrs Rigby it will all work out and be okay

hopefully your docs tomo will make you feel a little better

lucylev · 09/09/2009 07:29

Thanks LoobyLou82 i will get some in a week or so hopefully they will help me out

LoobyLou82 · 09/09/2009 12:25

no prob lucy hope they work out for you

rigby so sorry things are so bad for you at the moment. I had pnd with both my boys. Im trying for number 3 and worried it may happen again.

Im a strong believer that everything happens for a reason in life, i had two mc's and i believe altho absolutely devastating at the time that it was my body's way of telling me it was not the right time, both physically and emotionally and financially it was for the best. That may sound awful but for me i believe there is someone up there looking out for me, maybe I have an angel

anyway, best be off gotta pick kids up from nursery and try and find a way of entertaining them for the afternoon..... I can test friday morning, yippee x

CurlyCasper · 09/09/2009 15:46

mrsr I hope things start to look up for you. Just remember you can vent as much as you want/need on here

Ladyemmalou83 · 09/09/2009 16:55

MrsR sorry you having a shit time a the mo. I take anti-ds, not for PND, but just because generally Im very low and depressive and in the past it has led me to self harm. There not the best, but they have given me the space to be able to deal with my issues. Doc told me as long as I was on certain type, they would be ok whilst TTC too. Big hug to you MrsR, I really hope DH starts listening to you .

Still no AF for me, had a little bit of lower back pain earlier, and everytime I need to go to the loo, I get a little bit of cramp too, but otherwise nothing. Woke up this morning feeling sick to the core, but have put that down to low sugar levels, which I get quite often. Took test once I got to work and it was still BFN....am very confused.com

mummydemma · 09/09/2009 17:06

Hi everyone!

Just flying by for a quick catch up.

Lasttrain COngratulations!

MrsR I hope your visit to the doctor will help in some way. It is so difficult when you have to go back to work earlier than you really want to You feel like you are being dragged away from where you really want to be. For what it is worth, when I had my DD 8.5 years ago, I only got 16 weeks mat leave. I finished work 2 weeks before my EDD, she was 2 weeks overdue and then spent 2 weeks in NICU, so all told I got 10 weeks at home with her. HOWEVER, although going back to work so quickly was a wrench and a trauma etc. it also helped in a lot of ways. I came to value the time we did have together all the more and, as things had been difficult at the start (as they have been for you, although in a different way), there was also some relief at not having the full time responsibility 24/7(), if that makes sense.
The situation when I had DS was completely different and I was at home for 10 months with him and then had another 9 months at home with him last year (partly due to excellent mat leave conditions and partly due to our transatlantic home moving!) and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
I don't know if any of that makes much sense, but bascially what I am trying to say is however things go, they tend to have a way of working out on their own eventually.

Anyway, so much for my quick flyby! CD22 and nothing happening. Not a single symptom despite my frantic SS! Last month was jam packed with (imagined) symptoms and ended in a BFN, so who knows?

mumabee · 09/09/2009 17:28

Afternoon all

Congratulations Meanbeansmum, Pigleychez, Kaylo & Lasttraintonowhere. MrsR Sorry you're going through a rough time

Curly Sorry about the BFN.

Good luck to all those testing soon.

bluesnowfalcon · 09/09/2009 18:34

Hi all just flying by to try to catch up a bit

Still no AF and a BFN this morning so now just waiting! Having trouble to keep up now that I'm back at work so might have to just pop in now and then to keep posted on situation here and read as many posts as I can. Take care all x

giantjamsandwich · 09/09/2009 20:30

Hello all, long time no post but it's been a bit shit chez sandwich.

First sorry have not managed to read all the posts (we were on page 17 of the first bus when I last looked!!) but big congrats to everyone with BFPs!!!

My update - the planned shag fest at the "right time" didn't happen. In fact it was the once and yes, it's only been the once all month (altho I did have ewcm the evening before so maybe????). DH has not been up for it at all which is understandable as his mum passed away at the end of July. Neither of us is dealing with it very well and him particularly not.

So, have had to get my head round things just happening if they happen and definitely no actual 'trying'. Not holding out much hope this month as have turned into an evil cow so AF must be knocking on the door soon . Therefore with apologies I am hopping off the buses for now but hope to be back one day .....

Good luck to everyone!

LoobyLou82 · 09/09/2009 20:47

hey folks I think i ma have a couple of new symptoms today.

firstly the last two nights my gums have been bleeding when brushing my teeth which is a classic sign of rise in progesterone.

secondly and this is driving me mad, im hungry all the time but cant seem to find anythin i want to eat. Made dinner, salmon encroute thingy and cut it open and felt sick with the smell of the salmon and the taste of it. So decided i would eat half a tub of pears from the fridge in grape juice and they tasted absolutely devine, like an explosion of flavour. but still hungry i decided to cook 4 sausages from the best butcher in the world and ate two and went off them. I think i will give up trying to satisfy my hunger as nothing is cutting it except masses of pears, which until yesterday I HATED! but now suddenly love them.scared to eat too many as may make my tummy and botty a bit sore! confused.com I would like to think Im def preg, could be in my head but i will be surprised if im not! boobs gotten bigger too, feel like their full of oil and my stomach has swollen out like in 6 months gone! lol! AF due/or not due on friday, could maybe test tomorrow morning? what do you think or should wait till fri morning?

CurlyCasper · 09/09/2009 20:57

looby it sounds good! Wait till Friday - or even after. Less chance of a too-early BFN that way. I've already made that mistake this month...

Ladyemmalou83 · 09/09/2009 23:17

fingers crossed looby, I agree with Curly, wait till friday.

Am sat having a lovely glass of rose wine, with all the BFNs Ive had I think I need it. I was sooooo convinced this morning that today would be the day to get a BFP, but alas it was not.

TMI possibly, but everytime I need to go to the loo (no 2) I keep getting sharp cramps, so am now wondering if AF is gonna arrive soon....anybody else get this?

CurlyCasper · 10/09/2009 06:30

emmalou sorry if TMI too, but It's gone -all- wrong for me at the rear end and I'm wondering if that's a symptom or just some form of bowel disfunction - something else for me to obsess about anyway!

I'm so bloated I look pregnant, so something's got to give soon...

Another BFN from me today. Am gonna lay off the testing till monday now, if no BFP by then, off to the docs I go . Woken up feeling really sick again this morning. Am gonna turn into obsessive knicker checker instead for a few days

I'm still being strong and resisting the temptation to test - so far. I only have Boots own HPTs in the house so that should force me to wait until at least Monday. My DH is of the mind that we did our best during the fertile window so we should just keep calm and wait and see.

Loobylou - my gums have been bleeding too
