We are ttc #3(1 for dp) this is thefirst proper month of trying as I only came off the pill 2 weeks ago. Think I am on cd5 but no idea of cycle length!

Have convinced myself that I will get preggers this month. DH is desperate for baby too so going to try to be positive.

Congrats to 30ish that was a short ride and to the rest of us hopefully this is going to be a fertile bus.

Ladyemmalou - sorry, sounds like you had a chemical pg THat happened to me a few months back - it's really tough. Hope this'll be yr month.

Geek alert liaghen - i started temping last month, so am no expert, but have found it really useful for getting to know my cycle. The basic idea is that your basal body temperature shows 2 distinct phases during your cycle. From yr period to ovulation, temps fluctuate around a lower average, and then after ovulation they shoot up (tho sometimes not by that much) and stay higher until period due, unless you're pg in which case they'll stay higher. (Quite a good way of saving the cost of POAS - if your temps suddenly fall you can be pretty sure period's on the way...) So you can't predict when you're going to ov using temps - you'd need to use OPKs or check CM, but good for confirming that you have ovulated. Ov day is usually the day before the temp shift. Sounds complicated, but mine looked really clear on a graph last month - and reassured me that i am ovulating and luteal phase is OK. And yes, I know I'm a bit sad

just updating as was a day out

Woke up this morning with the mother of bad moods. Have now had a quality session of girls about town (coffee & shopping), and am now blasting the last of the bad mood away with a quality bit of Muse!

DH is feeling a bit sad still, but he is releaved that it is blob week as no shagging for him, he can sleep in peace at night knowing he wont be disturbed.

Now to read back through June bus to see whats been happening....

Another reason why I am feeling happy about being on the June bus is, Im a June baby and I love it. Best time of year for a birthday, right in the middle of year, Xmas = presents, 6 months later birthday presents, and then 6 months later xmas presents, and so on. Well thats how I use to look at it as a child. Clearly I was quite a fickle child?

well it's all a bit pants here. I have no clue what my body is doing now, cm has gone white and quite pliable again, I'm not sure if I've ov'd or not now and to top it all I fell asleep last night and dh is away overnight tonight. Gah. Not holding out any hope right now Told hubby off for not waking me and told him that it's another 4 weeks til we have any hope of trying again and he had no idea so he's really cross with himself too. On a nice note my friend who has been trying for 3 years has finally fallen pg...at the same time as her sister who is preg with ivf twins lol

It sounds like you are ovulating...tmi alert but DP and I BD'd when I had the creamy and stretchy CM, on the third and fourth day of ovulation and it seems to have worked. There's still hope WWSW and worth BDing if your DH is back tomorrow.

Mumabee I think I'm going to hold off till Friday which is cd30, my cycle is usually 28-31 days so I think thats a safe time to test.

Definately feeling every twinge, very crampy and moody, but that may be due to a hard week in my family, or possibly early pg. I also felt slightly lightheaded and nauseous over the last two mornings (?) but that could be linked to my awful cold.

Anyway, keep your fingers crossed for me

Can someone a bit more experienced in the worl of opk's help...does the line gradually get darker until ovulation or does it just suddenly go dark on the right day?

Congratulations 30ish and mumabee. Firerise started testing with OPK 2 days ago. Nothing yet but am only day 8 today so wasn't expecting anything yet. Mine just say they give a blank positive or negative,.

Was advised to start taking my temp every morning but was told on day 6 so might wait til next month then register with FF.

hi fireise from my experience (limited lol) mine get darker. This month is all fecked up tho and i have had a faint line on cd16, cd17 blank (but had ov pains , cd18 blank. But no cm to back anything up so very cross and confused!
