Argh - fallen off the June bus. July bus here I am. Am going for PMA this month.... That or tying hubby to bed. 6 months is normal just seems like everyone else is pregnant at the moment so am bit sad.

Maybe I should go to Ann Summers again! That will make me smile if nothing else and might kick start us both into action. No excuses of tiredness will be allowed this month

louja I'm sorry...but pleased you're coming over to July too. I'm now cycle 7 and that 6 month barrier is pretty hard. I'm praying I don't see 12 months I'm going to see my gp on Friday morning and have a moan and see if there's anything she can suggest. Ann Summers is too much fun Just don't use the lubes!!

  1. How long before period can you test.

Absolutely nothing to report from me so I am pretty sure it is all in my head

GirlsAloud so so so glad to "see" you on here. I hadn't posted in a while but when I came I watched the threads out for you but couldn't find you so thought you had named changed. I have also moved again and changed e-mail address which meant I couldn't e-mail you. I came to MK a couple of weeks ago and would have contacted you for a coffee if I could have found you!. So glad you are trying for number two too...How is DD?

Thanks guys It totally has not sunk in yet!

I'm living proof that this ttc business is entirely random. Last month: loads of shagging, ate well, had all the symptoms in the book - BFN. THis month: horrible cold, managed sex precisely 3 times, hardly any symptoms til yesterday - BFP...

Good luck to everyone else testing this week. WWSW and louja - I know it's no comfort, cos I was finding the monthly disappointment really hard, but apparently 6 months is totally average even though it feels like 6 years, especially when No 1 was so quick... Really hope July is the month for both of you.

Oh Loujalou i'm sorry about that but I think i'll be joining you on the July bus too, giveaway pinkish tinge so a couple more days and AF will be visiting, am gonna stock up on red wine and chocolate so i'm ready for her Takes the edge off not being babbed up yet

I'll also be on cycle 6 this time around, not sure how I feel about it, DP and I probably need to up our game I'm trying to justify it to myself that my periods have only been regular for three cycles now (after losing ALOT of weight) so probably wasn't OVing before that At least I have a couple of buddies going through the same here on MN, it is fustrating when most people on the 'busses' are only here for 1-3 months and here I still am...

needahand unfortunately I think the symptoms of early pregnancy are so similar to AF that only a very few people 'know'. Lots of people on here have got faint positives from 11DPO onwards but that just opens the whole 'is it a line or isn't it' debate. Best to wait till the day after you're due I think... sorry to be a killjoy, the 2ww is infuriating isn't it

No symptoms of anything! Not feeling well so that could be masking something , have actually gone 2 days without sex so hope now isn't when I ov!

nymph what was your last cycle length? If you're cd22 then that would be around 36 days if you're ov now.

Thanks teafan and WW. It is just that my AF is due next Tuesday and it is my friends' 30th birthday on Saturday and that would be much more fun with copious amounts of wine. I am really going to be gutter when AF turns up on Tuesday if I missed out on proper partying (don't do much of that these days) but I guess that is life

Was on the pill up to start of sept so didn't have a proper cycle last time. Just being paranoid I think 36 days would be quite long and therefore unusual right?
