Congratulations mampam!!!

And welcome to all the newbies!
Not much to report here, CD10 so gearing up for a week of shagging

ImmaterialGirl · 26/09/2009 10:28

WickedWitch so sorry -after all that, it really sucks sometimes...

Kurgan same to you, but hope you enjoy the gin at least

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/09/2009 11:09

I actually FELT pregnant this month too. I just can't trust my body obviously.

nymphadora · 26/09/2009 11:37

I have loads of symptoms but obviously too early to actually be pregnant so they must be just for the fun of it

mampam · 26/09/2009 11:39

Thanks guys. I'm sprinkling some of my baby dust over you all.

WW a drink and a bitch sounds like a good plan to me.

Kurgan mmmmmmm Gin!! Enjoy your evening!!!!
Don't give up hope though, I'm convinced it was the large volumes of red wine that brought on a BFP for me!!

Loujalou · 26/09/2009 12:54

I seem to feel pregnant every darn month WWSW. So have given up on the "feeling" now. Well have tried to not obsess...

Even hubby thinks I should take a pregnancy test but am only 9 dpo so shouldn't. The pregnancy test has my name on it and I should have not bought one.

Am fed up with waiting. With DS was so convinced I would never get pregnant I paid no attention to all the 2ww malarkey. Those were the days.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/09/2009 13:04

yeah louja gone are the days of not thinking about it! Don't take the test yet... you know you're more likely to get a false negative at that stage and then obsess even more and take more tests!

kkas · 26/09/2009 13:24

congrats mampam am so happy for you!!!

hello midnightgarden Sorry to see you at the back of the bus too. Never mind, we have wine, brie and pate back here and hot water bottles for the cramps...

Loujalou · 26/09/2009 18:55

Pate mmmm.... Tasty. There are good things about not being pregnant. Also there is brie, stilton, runny eggs and booze!

WWSW - have resisted. Don't think its a good idea to have tests in the house. Anyway "symptoms" have ceased so looks like I will be on the July bus soon.

Woofie · 26/09/2009 19:28

Congratulations mampam - your advice sounds excellent - might try it next month

Sorry for those who've shuffled off to the back - save a space, will probably be joining you on tuesday. WWSWand Louja - last month I had every symptom in the book from about 4dpo right up until period arrived - grrrr. Wilfully ignoring every twinge this time.

Had a fab autumn day out with ds, dss and friends today though, so have been doing some blessing counting

liahgen · 26/09/2009 20:00

congrats mampam

WWSW

BFN today with cheapie, period not due till Wednesday so am still hoping, don't feel as if i'm about to come on but can't trust our bodies anymore can we?

Enjoy weekend everyone.

WWSW don't leave us, stay here a while. Enjot the cheese and wine at the back till I join you.

UmBongo · 26/09/2009 20:37

Congratulations mampam Sounds like you have enjoyed your holiday too!

whitey we have not been to the docs yet as until this month I know the doc would just say that we have not had enough sex BUT this month we have managed a lot more and I have been to see the reflexologist to make sure there are no blockages that she could find. (odd thing reflexology, seems to work but god knows how - persuaded my ds to enter the world when I was 13 days overdue and threatened with induction!)

Soooo if all that hasn't worked I have been temping for 2 months now so me and my graphs are off to the docs.

WWSW congrats to your best mate, sorry the red tide got you - enjoy your drink! And don't leave the bus, you can be among the rowdy ones getting drunk at the back

MrsRigby · 26/09/2009 21:07

Evening

Shit! I forgot about runny eggs being a no-no. I've been eating quite a few of them lately (every Sunday I have 2 fried runny eggs and 4 potato waffles).

Anyway, congratulations mampam .

Nothing to say really...

Went to a neighbours 65th birthday/retirement party before with DH and DS. 3 people wanted to hold DS and both DH and I didn't feel able to say no even though that's what we wanted, so we let people hold him.

I hate it though, I don't want people holding him, it kills me inside. Why do people want to hold babies (especially toddlers that just want to crawl and walk)? DH and I have never understood the phenomenom, neither of us have wanted to hold other peoples children.

It really bothers me.

liahgen · 26/09/2009 21:18

MrsR I totally agree with you, I never want to hold other peopl's babies. My own have never really been that fond of other people holding them either, I never insist, same goes for kisses and such like from grannies, aunts etc

WickedWitchSouthWest · 27/09/2009 00:23

oh thanks ladies, I love the support on here! Im a bit pished and loving it! Long live good friends!

lia hope you have a shy one, as much as I'd love you at the back of the bus! I'll hasng about tho...

re holding babies, they normally cry at me. a friend's newborn is quite pliable tho and I've quit3 enjoyed hauling him about for a coupel of hours of an afternoon

nymphadora · 27/09/2009 07:59

I love holding tiny babies but once they get mobile there is no point as they just wriggle & get grumpy!

Hollyoaks · 27/09/2009 09:41

Hi all

Congratulations mampam

Fingers crossed to all those waiting

WWSW sorry to see that your at the back of the bus again. Good luck for July

Sorry if I've missed anyone out.

hightrees · 27/09/2009 10:26

Hi all! Can I come on board - I'll discover whether I have a place tomorrow...

FactsAndFigures · 27/09/2009 10:56

Morning all

Congratulations mampam

WWSW so sorry to hear AF got you, I was reading your earlier posts and felt so sure it was going to end in a BFP for you this month

Well get this for having NO willpower I'm now on CD 36 of a 28 day cycle and have tested on CDs 30, 32, 33, 34 and 35 and all are BFNs not even the faintest of lines. I really can't understand what's happening as I have zero AF symptoms.

liahgen · 27/09/2009 12:34

ok, well another BFN today and temp has gone down so just waiting to join you wwsw, will be Wednesday

Oh well, I don't know what to do really, month 9 for me. I'm 43 now

Woofie · 27/09/2009 13:03

Hmm factsandfigures - that's really frustrating. I had an extra long cycle a few months back (which for me was only 29 days as my ucl is 24 and v regular) - don't know what happened then either. I've read that it's normal to have the occasional cycle without ovulating, and these can sometimes be longer than normal? Otherwise, who knows? Just our bodies playing crap tricks - but there is always hope that it's a shy pg...

Sorry you think you're out this month lia. My temp is still high (period due tue/wed), but am having some strong af-like cramps, so not holding my breath.

Ladyemmalou83 · 27/09/2009 13:27

WWSW sorry AF came, I hope the Bitch and wine session has done you some good. Are you going to try aspirin next month?

Congartulations Mamapam, must tell DH I need a holiday to see if it works for me.

Day 16 for me, which I think is about the half way point. Nothing much to report. Am gonna try resist the 2ww madness, heres to hoping.

Blimey I really want to eat cake!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 27/09/2009 13:37

Morning all. Bit of a sore head, but the bitch n wine session really helped! Plus my friend's mum picked some gorgeous flowers from her garden for me

factsandfigures thanks I seriously thought I was pg this month, I have never felt so pregnant (apart from when I was obviously!). Cycle 7 it is then. Sorry you're having a horror. I had an odd long one a few month back, just something else our bodies do to irritate the hell of us!

lia have some very mn like hugs and virtual chocolate. I know how you feel, the waiting for af is the worst I'm sure it's our turn next month.

It's not over yet woofie! Good luck.

emmalou I'm going to have a rant at my gp on Friday (but will see if I can get an earlier appt than that!) and see what she can do. I am thinking that aspirin has to be worth a go thought Christ, I've tried everything else! Shall we slap your hands when you start doing the 2ww madness?
