Still waiting for symptoms. I can smell everything today (wondering why the washing up smelt of bleach, then realised I was smelling the chlorine in the tap water...), but then I often have the nose of a bulldog.

Thanks for the warm welcome- Umbongo I see we're in very similar places..have you visited the doc yet? I went last month and they want to do the cd5 blood tests(me)and sperm analysis (not me ). I feel confident I can get pg but have had a few m/c's in the past too. It also took us 2 years or more to conceive our son.
Sorry, don't want to drag the mood down- I am upbeat!! It's just a little dis-heartening month after month.
Good luck to those in the 2ww and knicker checkers- I can empathise...totally.

whiteyho I've booked an appt next week with a gp, I know this is only cycle 6 and is nothing compared to what you are going through but I'm getting very disheartened with it all and just wanted it on record that we're trying and nothing is happening at all. My dd was conceived when I was off the pill 3 weeks! So this is all a bit of a shock, having to wait!

Oh WWSW - I'm really sorry if it is what you think it is . For what it's worth, I'm in exactly the same boat as you - ds was totally effortless: I came off the pill after 10 years and bingo I was preggers. This time round it's much harder. WHY?! It's so frustrating - not that old yet and we're both trying to do everything by the book. Not holding out much hope for this month either, as dh and I both had streaming colds for the crucial week, so there was not as much shagging as there might have been...

WHitey and umbongo - know you've been at it even longer, so our gripes pale into insignificance. But it is shit isn't it?

Lia - everything crossed for you Anyone else due to test soon?

whitey and umbongo I sincerely hope you have a lucky ticket this month. My bestie mate has just got pg after 3 years of trying and having seen her go through that I'm not sure I could wait that long.

Just an update from the docs today, i didnt need to tie myself to the chair, (had rope in my bag desperately at hand) I explained that i thought i wasnt OV and he has referred me to a gynecologist, so more waiting but it will be worth it i hope.

Hi Ladies. I'm back from my holiday. We left last night rather than this morning and arrived home not long before 3am! Definitely glad to be back in my own bed.

So much has been happening in the 2 weeks I've been away, probably too much for me to catch up on as 2 weeks is a lot of reading here on MN!

CONGRATULATIONS to 30ish, mumabee and Hollyoaks

I thought I would share some holiday advice with those TTC. Here goes:

Do not pack HPT's or folic acid
Eat pate and/or everything and anything totally unhealthy for you
Drink plenty of red wine and/or cans of lager
Act like a complete child on the roller coasters at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Throw yourself down waterslides like a complete maniac
Go walking on the Fell and trip over at every opportunity

If you take my advice ladies you are a dead cert for a BFP!!

The last week of my holiday my tits felt like someone had stuffed a lead weight inside them. When we got home this morning I did a cheapy ebay HPT and got a BFP and then I did an Asda HPT to make sure and sure enough it was a BFP. Gonna do a CB this morning just to make sure as I really can't believe it!! DH has got a smile a mile wide!!
