Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

Thought i'd come and say hello as there aren't many of us loons mothers of 4 around by us, 2 seems most peoples limit.
Am due number 4 in June, am on a complete mission to sort the house and the older three's summer out before he arrives so we can have a stress free summer.
Are other people finding pregnancy number 4 the hardest ?
I cannot stop moaning about every ache and pain, feel sick all the time, hardly eat but have put 2 stone on.
Basically he cannot come out soon enough

Kat - Its definitely worth it!! I remember all too well how hard the pregnancy was... although Marco's was not my worst (a close second though). In fact, I am still suffering the repercussions!! LOL. Still battling the bulge... now have mummy-tummy which by some miracle I managed to avoid with the first 2, achy hips, limp hair that used to be lush with curls and is now straight, and the list goes on. But, Marco smiles at me and gives me a sucky-kiss and I forget everything!!! I am turning him into such a mamma's boy!!!

Means - its nice to know the gender. I didnt find out with the first 2, but couldnt resist with the second 2. It was nice to call them by name as soon as we knew the sex. Also made it easier for the older 2 to start their attachments to baby.

Loopy - Its never too early to start thinking about your new bean!! As soon as I was preg I started planning what I was going to do during my pregnancy. We had a private 3D scan with Marco. It was a lot of fun! We had some issues with that pregnancy, and I ended up having an amnio, so I found out the gender by the 16 week mark.

Welcome to the new mummies

babyblue4 · 27/03/2010 03:04

So how are all the little beans and their mummies doing???

Meanbeansmum · 30/03/2010 08:47

Hey girls!!!

All is well here, just been away for a long weekend break. I'm shattered lol! I did get some book reading time while te kids were playing/swimming so it was a great break.

I think I will find out the sex but dh says I'm only allwed to do that if we don't tell anyone, so it allows us to plan but for friends and family to have a suprise..........can we manage that? LOL!

It's so quiet in here!

Kat, you must be getting close now, how are you feeling, nervous or ready to evict your little miss?

BB, is your little man walking? Sounds like he won't be long!

Steph, how's ittle Lacey? I hope all is well at home.xxx

Waiting for my food shopping to arrive.

6 weeks to go here and it's still draggingggggggggggggggggg. DD is 12th May.

I'm so ready to evict this baby, 37 weeks would be lovely but the reality is I'll probably go overdue as both my girls were 6 days late...

To make matters worse I think I'm getting SPD which I've never had before. The pain in my pubic bone is getting worse everyday. DH is off for 2 weeks over Easter which will be a great help, we'll get to spend some family time together too hopefully before this little Miss comes along and demands all the attention!

Means - I couldnt keep quiet even if it seems like a good idea in theory! Do you have a date yet for your 20 week scan?

Diege · 31/03/2010 11:52

Hello! You've probably all fototten me (one of the first carrots) but just wanted to pop my head round the door and say hello!
Jacob (ds1 after 3 dds) is doing very well, 9 months now, and no.4 really doesn't feel that much more work than 3...Even thinking there may possibly be a no.5 in there too .
Good luck KAT!!!! Wow, where have those 34 weeks gone and a big hello to BABYBLUE and Marco xx
I am realistic to know that I'm a hopeless keep-upper on this thread, but wanted to say hi and let you know it's All Good on the other side! Ok, the washing's a nightmare and work is even more stressful to keep up with, but don't regret no.4 for a second

babyblue4 · 06/04/2010 00:29

Diege! Hello! So glad you popped in for an update! Glad your lovely family is doing well and that Jacob is growing nicely! Must be hard with being back to work and managing the family. I am not looking forward to trying to figure out that balance!

How are all the mummies and beans doing???

Kat - How are you feeling? Not long now, though this part seems to go more slowly than any other!

Marco had a lovely first Easter.

Gotta keep this short and sweet, as DCs are bouncing around in the lounge and I hear tears. LOL... as long as the noise stays below a roar, all is well!

KatnKankles · 06/04/2010 23:42

Diege! Lovely to hear from you... you are correct in saying that these last few weeks drag. Every day is like a week as I drag my poor tired body around

It will be worth it in the end though

How is everyone??

Meanbeansmum · 09/04/2010 18:07

Diege!! Hi, number 5, you know you want to. ;) I can't cope with the washing now lol! Ideally I need 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers, that would fix things lol!

Kat, nearly there, homerun now!!! Your little miss will be worth all of this!

BB, bless MArco, first easter! Did he get any eggs?

Easter holidays are keeping me busy here. 16 weeks now.....to gender scan or not to gender scan.........????????????

KatnKankles · 11/04/2010 00:40

Oooh means.. I had a gender scan at 16 weeks with this one. It was fab I was just too impatient to wait another 4 whole weeks!!

Go for it!!

It's very quiet on here, how is everyone?? Easter holidays are keeping me busy but mainly I want to sleep, I am constantly exhausted. My 11 year old dd said she missed me today - I do think she was being a little melodramatic since we all went to a wedding together the night before and it's probably because DH is around and is pulling his weight so I don't need to do everything

Tomorrow I'm off to buy some paint and finally get this nursery done!! I have the border, curtains, lampshade palaver but can't do any of that until I've gone over the manky walls!!

36 weeks on Weednesday wooop

Loopy, put those feet up and rest! xxxx

KAt, enjoy the last few weeks. You are so near the end now. Baby will be here soon. I know these last few weeks suck. I'll soon be moaning too lol!

Well I won't be having a gender scan. Cardiff can't fit me in until I'm nearly 18 weeks.....and the nhs scan is at 19+5 weeks. So I might as well wait and spend the momeny on maternity clothes lol! Arghhhh, it's going to drive me mad!!!!!

The weather is so hot and the children are so demanding. Another week of this too lol!

KatnKankles · 13/04/2010 17:03

Means, think of the money you'll save

Loopy really hope everything is ok for you, I had bleeding in my 2nd pregnancy and everything was fine. When I m'c'd it was pretty obvious immediately by the amount of blood.

Keep telling me how close I am to the end please? I have been so ill it's awful but I'm so excited to meet my baby!

Oh and I really do have cankles now

Scorps · 13/04/2010 17:15

Hello! Totally forgot about this thread lol

me and dc are all fine, pushing on. Lacey is really sociable now and laughs too

Loopy - Your hormones are just in overdrive. If you need a scan to make yourself feel better, then why not? I am sure DH knows you well enough to support you thru your 'wobbly' days. In a few months you will feel better, have a little bean giving you kicks for reassurance, and your hormones will have stablilzed. Until then, go easy on yourself!

babyblue4 · 19/04/2010 20:00

Almost forgot... was spring cleaning my bathroom cupboard and found a still-sealed pack of ovulation test strips (20) and 4 or 5 PG tests. Since we will not be needing them, any of you ladies need them or know someone who may need them, let me know. They expire this year, and I would hate to see them go to waste!

Meanbeansmum · 20/04/2010 15:24

BB it must be a sign lol!!!!

Loopy, I hope the reassurance scan shows all is well. The sickness is such a good sign that all is well.

Scorps, hey! I bet Lacey is adorable now!

Good luck for tomorrow Loopy! It's all sounding good to me.

37+1 today SPD is pretty horrendous but the bump has dropped so at least eating is a lot easier. I'm feeling very impatient but not too bad. I am getting a lot of help from friends with ferrying the children around and DH is being amazing, coming home from work and basically looking after the house and me. I can't walk without flinching

My Mum and Grandma are stuck in Alabama... they were supposed to be home last Sunday but can't get a flight until Tuesday 27th so are 'enjoying' an extended break. I'm hoping everything goes to plan and they get back next week, I miss them! Plus I need someone to look after the DCs when I'm in hospital

(waves to scorps and BB)

Wonderful news Loopy!!! Now you can relax and get some rest. Does your BP usually stay low for the entire pregnancy??

Means - FAT CHANCE is all I can say re: finding the pg tests being a sign!! How are you feeling these days??

Kat - almost there. Glad your DH is taking such good care of you. Hope your mum gets back ok. Was she staying with friends or family, or does she have added expenses for extending her holidays?? Darn volcano is causing havoc!! We have a family wedding this weekend, and relatives flying out of Rome have had flights cancelled so wont be able to attend.
