Hi neeko - just off to bed but needed to say hi first! Enjoy your first days back at work - I've got an extra couple of days off as my dd has inset days for 2 days and so, 2 days with my lovely kids who miss their friends and want to go back to school/ nursery. Ah well - it's going to be sunny again and so it's off to the beach or open air pool for us. Hurrah!!

curlee wow sounds good, your symptoms that is....i tested yesterday as it was cd 26 and i bleed last time at cd 27....bfn i dont suppose there is much chance of that changing so im waiting for the witch to arrive within the next 24 hours....fizzy nipples, feeling faint and my nasal passages feel cold but i think they are all signs of af for me.....roll on fri for you!

Moon I hope too that you are getting that lie-in, but if you aren't I promise I will lurk quietly all day in case you need to talk.

barbie I keep changing my mind, I'm not getting that nasal thing anymore but did wake up with a very funny taste in my mouth and everything is tasting soapy. Which of course I'm trying to stretch into everything tasting metallic - what does metal taste like anyhow??? I reckon the dishwasher didn't rinse properly or something.

Great minds re the helium baloon & note on edd, have taken to doing that for mine & even on my dads anniversary too now.. Planted some plants but they were winter bedding & didnt last so stick with the balloons now!

Talking of EDDs glad you got through it Jools. As said, the build up is undoubtedly the worst, & I find the day itself always feels spiritually calming in a weird way.. Have a hug anyway, my new cycle buddy!

Bluemoon Gutted to hear you are spotting, just for the fear it has caused you.. I am praying, hoping and sending the stickiest of sticky thoughts to you. I know the fear you are feeling, but I echo what others have said, spotting can be very normal, specially brownish stuff, lots have it, I did and then was ok for weeks & weeks after & look at Vjay now. I know none of this helps you right now tho & its just crap its happening to you and putting all this worry on your shoulders. Will be thinking of you hard at 1.30pm & will keep checking in.

Want to thank you all for the support on thurs, was going to say sorry for being a grumbleguts, but hey thats the joy of hormones I guess and we all have them! YOu are all so lovely and supprtive & sweet & you really lifted me out of my 'oh woe me' mode. Af turned up on fri morn & had to take DH to hospital for his broken hand, thankfully he doesnt need an op! They fit a wierd plastic cast which he chose in bright purple (to match my dress! ) which he'll wear for another 3 weeks, but has a bit more movement now.. Spent rest of weekend, chilling out at home & sunbathing! Af seems lighter, no clots for 1st time since last MC so am very pleased seems more 'normal'. Dont know if its DH white cells helped or body finally recovered? Anyway off to buy expensive OV sticks at lunchtime, unless anyone knows how long that 'babymad' takes? Not been on there yet but will sneak a peek.

Mammoth post! I got in work at 7.15am as drove DH in first, took forever to read posts & took notes! Drafted this in e-mail so not on net too long! Prob x-post with about 7 of you writing this! Morning, vjaywaddlepants is the perfect name for me now, thanks mermaid. moon I'm so sorry I did log on here yesterday, I bled/spotted from weeks 5 to 9 with this pregnancy and had all but given up on it, but now I'm coming up to 28 weeks so don't give up hun, try and stay positive

This heat is too much I open all my windows and doors, lie on the sofa and wait for a breeze to come through. I took ds down to the beach yesterday, but only lasted half an hour, not because of the heat but cos my back was killing me. Ds didn't mind though, I got him an ice cream to compensate. I've only just got up now and can see it's going to be another hot one!

I reckon that the fact that your af was so much lighter and less uggy is a fantastic sign says mermaid hastely donning white coat. What do you always say about optimal fitness?

Neeko I guess I am on the 2ww! But I think I only ovulated yesterday (pains on Sat, and temp surge this morning) so won't be testing til at least day 34...boo. Am glad you don't think last month was anovulatory...there may still be hope yet!!

Gosh everyone has been so busy on mn this morning. Well I went back to my dd's gym class this morning after the break & for the first time I didn't even notice all the pregnant Mums! I'm feeling fine at the moment & I think I'm not going to request an early scan. I'll just let fate take it's course.

4ever happy to hear you sounding more your usual self. Babymad are ridiculously fast, I had the same experience as Mermaid ordered something really late in the day & it turned up next day. I think they must know how desperate we all are as anything I've ordered from them turns up the day after. Maybe we should ask them for a mn discount but then they would be giving the things away!

Neeko looking forward to hearing what is going on with your cycle today. I've heard that people can ovulate twice in one cycle, maybe that is what happened to you?

Jools hope you are feeling a bit more zen after your meltdown. We all have them from time to time & although they are traumatic, I think you feel much calmer after the storm has passed.
