No scan booked yet. The Gp is tryin to sort me one at 8-9 weeks but he's not sure if the EPAU will or not. If not I'll book a private one. My sanity is worth more than £75!

Neeko enjoy Grays Anatomy, I always get the DVDS when they come out, I can't keep up with anything as a shift worker so I don't try. I didn't even have a TV for about 10 years, got one as a wedding present in October. But I always watched Bones and Grays Anatomy on my computer. I've never seen an episode of Big Brother ever! Am I missing much????

Raging insomnia is a very strong pregnancy symptom for me, so I can sympathise My request for an 8 week scan was refused by the EPU last time, even though my GP did try Obviously I never got that far anyway, but it does annoy me that you have to go through 3 MC's before they will treat you with any compassion

Moon - glad to see you are lurking and totally understand the place you are in right now - we will still be here whenever you want to chat.

I'm feeling slim today - back in a heavier work skirt I haven't worn for a couple of weeks and it definitely shows less belly If I lose another 8 lbs, I will officially be no longer obese

TMI coming up I have a cunning plan to sort out our BD issues - tomorrow is O day I think, so tonight is the crucial night. We tried last night, but it wasn't really happening for him, so I (ahem ) obliged by doing what he loves and I hate, releasing those stale swimmers . He now owes me and I shall start some subtle seduction whilst we are in the pub early evening to get him in the right mood, in the hope that tonight will be the night

Morning you chatty lot! I havent been on here since Tuesday due to RL and work getting in the way, and ive had 10 pages to read through!(shock)

Ive had the results of my nuchal scan through and im relieved to say i am low risk. The blood test also checked for Pataus syndrome and Edwards Syndrome and risk was very low for those too.

It was my birthday on Monday, and got a few boxes of chocolates, amongst other lovely presents, perfume, jewellery etc. Ive been eating my body weight in chocolate

Curly-That is fantastic news, i am so pleased for you. Its great that you MLS and Gracie are all at the same stage, wonder who is going to be next?

Mollie-Fab news on your nuchal scan, pic is so clear as well.

Blue-Glad you well hun, and so happy that things are going great for you. Its going to be a great Christmas for you. Love the fact your starting to show as well, its great, people are starting to look at me quizically now in a 'is she, isnt she?' sort of way, especially my patients at work. A couple of nosy old biddies have just asked outright! I would never ask anyone if they were pregnant unless they had a massive obvious bump, incase they had just put on some weight!

Gracie-Glad you didnt disappear on us for too long, i too was worried about you when you left a cryptic message and shot off. Good for you for standing up for yourself and not agreeing to take on extra shifts. Hope you get your scan at Epau, but £75 is not bad for a private scan-£100 here, and i thought things were supposed to be cheaper 'oop North'!

Barbie-Glad your Mum is ok, its such a worry when they have illnesses as they get older. My Mum and Dad were both Diabetic and Dad was often in an out of hospital, bless him. I really miss them both, mum died 7 years ago coming up and Dad died 2 years ago, so im an orphan now

Moon-Im thinking of you at this awful time. I too have the Lesley Regan book and it answers a lot of questions. Come back into our lovely fold when you are ready and we will look after you.

Still failed on the BD action... have been rubbish this month haven't seen DH most of the week - he came in at 11.30pm last night after a work thing and I was already in bed - and then he left at 5.30am - plus we won't see each other now until Sunday night as I am away for the weekend and he has to stay home and work but Iguess I am kind of on the 2ww now.. although not hopeful. I don't know if/ when I ovulated - so have still only managed to BD twice - once on CD 15 and once on CD 16. Sorry am rambling - but feels like I've wasted this month

mermaid I also fulfilled my social responsibility last night and voted. I get so with people who don't...my polling station said they'd only had 162 through out of 1800 eligible in the area... shocking!

Barbie I can't believe I only just missed you this morning. The last 3 nights I've woken at 2am and been up and down till about 5am then slept through till morning. Its my lovely hormonal bowel, trapped wind pain. Horrible crampy painful abdomen for 2-3 hours every night with nausea, only relieved by walking round and round the house. Any tips anyone? I eated prunes everyday they don't help. (yuk yuk yuk!) Its not so bad whilst I'm off work this week but I'll never be up at 5:30am for work.

And MLS and Curly whats your excuse? you don't have the Barbie time difference! Like MLS said - anyone would think we had something on our minds!

Morning cupcake, yes I agree this thread is fab!! I postal voted as if I end up at work I can never get to a polling station whilst they are still open. I'm not sure about MLS and Curly's due date but mine is 9th february ish. If I use a EDD calculator where I have to put my cycle length in do I put my old cycle length (32 days) or just pick one out of the selection of new cycle lengths I've had since my MC?? (27, 29, 30)
