The last pg was a complete surprise as we only BD'd once - the one before, 3 times and the one before that, probably only once or twice. Maybe that is where I'm going wrong - stale swimmers

mermaid am CD 18 only managed to BD on Sat and Sun (CD 15 & 16) - mc was on easter sunday, so this is first cycle of ttc after the mc. x

Curly I have some opks already - but am rubbish at remembering to use them... what time of day do you do it? I hate POAS at work... I guess I could do early eve instead?

iggy its hard, especially waiting for your body to recover.
Am thinking curly should maybe write a book on opks. I tend to do mine about 2ish I think I remember gracie testing when she staggers in from work much later than that though. I will keep my fingers crossed.x

They say 2pm is the best time iggy but I think after work would be fine too. Just do the same time every day. Before 10am is bad.

Urrrggggg feeling rubbish today. Have got a roaring cold (from dd) & she woke up at 3am as hot as an oven so I gave her medicine & put her in my bed where she wriggled & fidgeted for an hour. Sooooooo tired.

Jools menfolk can be such a pain in the arse can't they. They haven't a clue that they can upset us so much & have such thick skin that they don't even realise when they have. Or they think we are being over-sensitive! My dh is coming back on Friday & the dread is starting to build up. Despite the fact that I wasn't pregnant when he left & I am now, I won't be expecting him to pick me up, twirl me around, tell me I'm wonderful & then order me to sit down & put my feet up while he cooks. I think he sees me as a bit of annoyance that gets in the way of him & dd. He'd be quite happy if I left him & dd to it. We've started having conversations by Skype (live video conversations on our laptops) & I could hear the irritation in his voice every time I tried to ask him a question & all he wanted to do was wave & pull funny faces at dd. Oh & about your sex drive, get a tube of pre-seed & you'll never need your sex drive again!

Curly you should try temping - it gives you another way to obsess!

Iggy it is definitely the quality of bd'ing along with timing - that is the key! I only bd'd once when I got pregnant with dd & three times in my latest pregnancy.

Neeko did you do another opk today? Any temp rise?

Because of this feeling of shittiness today I was really snappy with dd this afternoon (luckily she didn't take a blind bit of notice) & I feel really guilty now. Also craving a mini-milk - haven't had one in years. Unless I dash out to the co-op in my jim-jams leaving dd sleeping in the house on her own I'm not going to get one so I'll just have to wait until tomorrow & make-do with a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich. Oh yeah & another thing..... I've got a bloody spider in my sink! I was washing up this morning & it jumped out at me from under a bowl & I nearly passed out! I placed a clear plastic container over it, took dd out for a ride on my bike & when I came back the bloody thing had had the cheek to die! It's now all shriveled up with its legs pointing out all over the place , & I'm going to have to commandeer a neighbour to remove it for me.

MLS Sorry you're feeling shitty and down about your DH. Remember DD will grow up and he'll need you then. You'd hate it if he wasn't interested in her. IPML at the spider story though.

Iggy I do my opks at lunchtime and sometimes also when I come home See Curley it's not just you. I think as long as your pee is quite concentrated you'll ne ok.

Mermaid My opk was still strong but not as strong today too. Fingers crossed.

Have to add to the minimilk debate - strawberry is my favourite but I'm obviously a greedy cow as one is never enough!
As for the boobs: before I was pg with DD I lost quite a bit of weight and was a size 8/10 and had lovely 32B boobs. I thought they were enough to give you shape but not enough for blak eyes. Whilst pg they took on Jessica Rabbit proportions and ended up at 36FF (yes you did read that right!) or maybe bigger because I refused to buy any more bras.After BF and before last pregnancy they became 32DD. Looked good in a bra but dreadful without and now that I have put on a stone(ish) they are 34E. I'd love my 32Bs back and am willing to swap!

Had a temp rise today but took my temp twice. DD woke me at 5.30 and temp was 97.2 but I didn't get up and lay still. Took temp at usual 6am time and it was 97.58! Don't think high temp counts due to wake time but I guess if it's a true high it'll still be high tomorrow.

I had a giant size one on kitchen ceiling at 5.30 this morning - looked tropical, body was like a queen bee so had to get rid asap! Cue to me on a chair in my pants with glass & paper & running up garden with hands over my (little) boobys so I could throw it far enough away it wouldnt come back in the house! I'll offer my disposal services if you like? Im in Surrey too, (bordering the urban sprawl of the city so best of both worlds!)

Just about to dash out for my recurrent mc appt - really hoping they actually do some tests today. Bit nervous as have no idea where I'm going, so leaving early to allow getting lost time.

Operation black basque never got off the ground as I ended up with really bad diarrhea and was on the loo half the night

I'm not seeing any EWCM this morning, so haven't wasted a fertile day - just lost a practice session

Ha, last night I said to my DH I'd know if I was pregnant by the big boobs and he got quite excited remembering what my boobs were like with the last pg!! (I am quite a modest 34C btw normally)

They should test for 'sticky blood', various clotting issues, chromosomes (both of you) immunological issues, cervix strength and scan of uterus, as well as LH & FSH levels, hormone levels, thyroid and various others, in fact check this: LINK and print off - its my NHS specialist site & tests we had done.. All blood tests (apart from scan obviously!) most results 6 weeks or so but chromosomes can take a few months... Good luck girl! xx
