Jools bloody great news, don't blame you for wanting to keep in on the down-low just now.

Mermaid was having the same trouble as you earlier. Today was my most pivotal day cycle-wise & dh chose it to be 'tired'. Was trying my best to 'wake him up' & ended up sobbing with head under duvet & only 20 mins until Mum & Dad arrived for a couple of days. What a sad & sorry (not to mention desperate) sight. Anyways dh managed to finally muster up the energy & now I'm officially on my 2ww.

Kate waiting for af is such a horrible, long, drawn-out time but I'm sure that in next to no time you'll be peeing on those sticks & bd'ing like mad - hopefully on your honeymoon.

Must go & cook a curry for dh & parents now.

lets hope so ,i just dont want af on wedding day knowing my luck i prob will.my dp is the same mls he says he cant perfom under pressure or on set days lol

jools you have made your body the most welcoming place for a little sticky bean by doing all your exercise and dieting - thankfully we won't have to hear about stomach crunchers anymore enjoy your evening.
kate we should nip round jools and pinch some of that chinese and I reckon she has some wine she can't drink now as well

I have a friend who makes wedding dresses who is driven to utter despair about 4 weeks before hand when brides eat/starve and loads of alterations have to happen!
Hopefully this horrible cold front will have passed and you will have a lovely sunny day.
Be gentle on yourself, it will all work out for us all

Kate - I had issues with DP not performing I was DESPERATE to TTC asap after the MC, but didn't ovulate till Jan - ended up in floods of tears at my egg being "wasted" and it was a mega ovulation - really painful

In the end, I resolved to give up for a while - just not mention TTC and focus on the weight loss till after Easter - look what happens - DP gets amorous with the slimmer me on CD13, I ov on CD14 and here I am 4 weeks pg, having resolved to wait till after Easter to TTC and decided I would prefer not to have a Christmas baby I'm not going to say relax, but it WILL happen when you least expect it

Mermaid - I went to the gym this morning (still in denial I think !) and will go tomorrow - then I am away for work for 3 days and will tell my gym instructors when I get back - will lay off the ab crunches just in case but apparently as long as they are not uncomfortable, you don't HAVE to stop in the first trimester.

Yes, I have some very nice New Zealand wine that was my Easter treat. I just tried half a glass of my fave wine ever and I just can't drink it - one sip gave me heartburn, so no more vino for me for a while !

its a mystery it really is. Men, I can't get my head around them at all! mine has been in total ignorance of my scientifc exploits (cue evil cackle, I went to see Monsters v Aliens)and I never told him it was GO GO GO because I tried the subtle GO GO GO from about the 4th. But he knew, he just bloody knew and as soon as they think they are not in the driving seat - after the novelty has worn off after the first month that is - then its crying under the duvet yesMLS so am there with you so to speak! we are close cycle buddies I got my strong + on the 11th.

Kate I too hope your AF is on her way, but it does sound positive with your hormones. I've stopped hoping for mine after the weekend's events, but you'll all need to pick me up when it turns out that the +ive opk was wrong and AF bites when I least expect it! Does anyone think you can bring about a +ive opk just because you wish hard enough?

Mermaid lol at your trying to trick him indoors! My DH is a bit wary of all the peeing on sticks and talk of mucus but has managed to rise to the occasion, although if we need to go again next month I don't think he'll be so keen.

JOOOOOOOOOOOLS - Great news.

Evening everyone else - I'm a much happier bunny today, lots of sun ( finally , Surrey got sun!), washing dried, got to the park and managed to clear the bit of the garden I wanted to clear. Also lots and lots of chocolate - egg hunt no 2!
at all those dh/ dp's who claim to be too tired ! Don't they know how important these babies are!!!

Morning all!

Mermaid I was one of those people who irritate your friend who makes wedding dresses, last year I bought a size 16 dress and went down the aisle a size 8-10 ten months later. oops! I was given strict instructions to eat doughnuts.

Mermaid My DH has no idea about the opk's or my bulk buying pregnancy tests, he would run for the hills too! He wouldn't figure out for himself when day 14 was so hopefully won't get performance anxiety. He's keen to conceive again after our miscarriage but seems to think it just happens by magic! (if only!)

At CD 11 I've had 11 days of calm, nothing I can do about TTC except trying to eat healthily. Going to start doing opk's again today so let the obsessing begin!

Kate how are you feeling today? Have fun at your dress fitting! You forget I've actually seen you in your dress - she's not a fatty she looks gorgeous!!!

I am today, DH should nearly be in his stopover in Bahrain, he lands Heathrow 2100 today, God i cannot wait to see him! For more than one reason...We live in very west cornwall so i won't see him until tomorrow, but still its only one more sleep!!

My heart is beating out my chest as I write this as I'm pregnant

Been feeling strange all weekend and very weepy and irritable yesterday, also had none of my pre AF symptoms (nippy fango/spotting) so snuck off last night and bought clearblue digital as AF due today.

Did test first thing and there it was 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'.

DH and me are over the moon and as he say "we've done our bit" its out of our hands now.

So I'm pregnant today, may not be tomorrow or next week or next month but I am today and I'll take that for now .

Oh and my EDD? Christmas Day!!
