Ginger I work at a Jobcentre so its promotion for the next grade (which I am already doing at the moment but with crappy pay!) Nowhere near as glamorous as our lovely Barbie

mollie believe me it sounds more glam than it is ill be the one moaning in a few months when im bored with all the makeup and im working 6 days in a row, congrats for passing the test, we are a bright bunch arent we?

mol, i used to be an LOI (EO) at DWP, i did my degree and got out, it was pants! I sympathise completely!

Congrats barbie!!! - your job sounds great and what a mega make up allowance - you'll be like a kid in a candy store .

Well done too to Mollie for passing your tests - gold stars all round - here you can have some of DS's reward chart peppa pig ones .

Just a quick post as DS and me have been making pancakes (now all eaten ) and we're off into the garden in our wellies - my spring weeding is beginning.

AF arrived yesterday so sanity has been restored in my house. Its v. heavy this month but it is first proper one after inital one post-ERPC last month...

blue my AF is due also and I'm like the monster from hell, even came home for lunch today before I blew up with someone...................oh who cares I'll be leaving soon anyway.

The magic 12 week scan is on Monday at 4pm. Am hopeful but nervous. This week is going sooooo slowly.

I'm having my big toe nail taken off tomorrow and I'm absolutely sh*tting myself! I have a foot phobia and can't stand the idea of anyone touching my feet, I feel sick just typing/thinking about it

oh dear mollie your poor toenail im not surpirised you are worried, take some chocolate and ok mag and try to take your mind off it!

freddie was fine, which came as a huge relieve since he was stuck in a tiny sky kennel for the best part of 12 hours, he is here playing with dh in the paddling pool

scamper glad you found us hun, you will be fine on your scan date, you will have to post your pics for us all to inspire too!

oh Mollie, what a eugh procedure to go through . At least your foot is miles away from your head and you can close your eyes and look away.. I'm assuming you'll get a local anaesthetic?? Feet give me the willies too - a toe sucker I am not!

barbie - great to hear Freddie arrived and is bounding away with your DH .

Hey Scamper - as Mollie says only 4 sleeps 'til your scan - how exciting!! I've not seen curly for a while...

Had an interesting turn of events at my Docs yesterday, was there for follow up meeting after appoint. with asthma nurse (I have mild asthma which always gives me a horrible chest infection once every winter and this winter's one was when I was 5 weeks pg early Dec). It was the first time I'd seen Doc since mc and I wasn't expecting to discuss it really but long story short, he has offered to give me a series of acupuncture sessions to (quote) "make my body relaxed and ready to fall and stay pregnant". I'm quite excited although he sticks needles in my ankles so he'd better have some sturdy ones .

blue had to pop over for an ankle bonding moment, maybe it might help our ankles? Do you think acupuncture is the way to go then, I am at the point of being in the mood to try everything and nearly anything to get a lo to stick. It is great when you get some positive action.

Hey Mermaid - I have visions of the needle going into my (c)ankles and a low hissss emanating from them as they shrink before my eyes - I wish .

I hadn't thought about acup. before but I'm willing to give it a try even if it has the placebo affect of working because I think it's working...

Well I am now missing my toenail, which is a relief but oh my it hurt! Very traumatized he even made me look after he'd ripped it off (nasty man!) Well back to the sofa for me, will catch up later

Oh and of course I just went to take some ibruprofen and now am wondering if I should just grin and bear it as I'm starting the 2WW I'd forgotten about all the crap that this TTC entails!!!

I'm running off to Edinburgh for a long weekend with my DH, my brother and his girlfriend. I will try my best to resist the urge to find an internet cafe to check Mumsnet whilst I'm gone . Hopefully this weekend will be just what I need.

I might even fit in a spot of BD'ing whilst I'm gone / . Just did a pregnancy test and got negative - at long last!!!!!

mollie hope youre relaxing and taking it easy...2ww wait, yay! You know were all going to be asking you hows its going all the time now

blue good luck with the acupunture if you decide to do it...youre far more braver than me, I have to shut my eyes and tense up when i go for normal blood tests!

scamper nice to see you on here!! Good luck for monday, i'll be thinking of you...my 12 week scan is on 17th march....seems so far away...!

gracie good on you for going back to work, but just remember to take it easy and take 1 day at a time....

barbie congrats on your job! i just luuuuuuurve MAC cosmetics! its all i use when i have glam nights out and it was the only makeup i used at my wedding. When i went dubai, i spent like an hour in the MAC duty free section just spending like crazy!!! (sorry i sound really obsessed! lol)

MLS hope your scan went ok yesterday

well, ive got the day off today and monday, so nice long weekend (have to use up a lot of leave b4 end of march), so im just going to relax and not do much. Been very busy at work, working my way through the nausea & tiredness, but like i keep saying its all a good sign! I'll be 10 weeks 2mrw. Had my booking-in appointment on Tues which was pretty uneventful, but have my blue book!

whats every1 got planned for the weekend?

sabs waves to mm, curly, vjay, jools, ginger, 4ever lionstar and any1 else ive missed out, and sorry if ive missed out on any major news

Big waves to anyone else! Been lurkin this week but a bit busy with RL, had a few moments so have popped back to the old cave too! Had work dramas - jobs changing and redundancies! Been here 13 yrs & enjoy it so will try for something round the company instead - more change! Also a few house dramas, halfway through doing it up and encountered a few probs with windows! Dont ask! Anyway am now counting down til hol a week tuesday! YEA! Am just waiting for first AF, which I reckon is gonna be here for my birthday on weds .. So long as out the way for hol tho!

Hello, how are you all doing? Been a bit busy with ds, had a meeting with his school about his autism, and whats in place for him, basically he needs more support and the school can't fund it, so me and dh are having to write to someone to try and get more funding for him and the school. Another battle, but we are ready and willing to do it, anything for ds. On a funny note, he tells his teacher that she is cute, and sits there rubbing her leg when he is stressed. She's ok with it, thankfully. Other than that he's doing the work, it's just his understanding of instuctions that is behind and he gets a bit stressed, but he's such a happy little monkey .
Hope you all have nice weekends, we are having a quiet one as off to Edinburgh next one.

hi girlies, been busy settling in the dog and entertaining the in laws, how is everyone....its too hot here and we have had a sand storm today to all my housework has been wasted and i have to start again!
