HandbagAddiction · 05/05/2005 12:25

Just posted on the other thread - been laid up for the past few days with a bad throat infection...

Sorry to hear about the BFNs and/or arrival of AFs.

Haven't caught up on the whole thread yet...but babydust to everyone (like me) who are still out there trying..............

Worriedbev · 05/05/2005 14:22

Hi ladies
Just to let you know that af arrived this morning, so feeling really grotty. Thought this was my month, but never mind. Into month 14 now so counting the days until af disappears and I can get on with bedding again.
Bev

Frizbe · 05/05/2005 19:01

Oh bugger! I think that sums it up for you Bev.....and you too Munz, but I'm really hoping your premonition comes true for you what a fab dream (assuming it was a dream) to have had!
Well I'm on CD 13 here and looks like an early ov possible according to fertility friend, so dh is in for a good night later fingers x'd for this month and an end of Jan/begining of Feb bubba for us!

Hulababy · 05/05/2005 20:13

sorry about AF worriedbev

I am up for the challenge Munz - Feb babies it is. My birthday is in Feb, so it'd be a great present. Good luck!

DD has chicken pox Came home from nursery today with it. Have a ball on Saturday too - eek. At the moment she is not poorly at all, so really hoping she stays well with it so we can go - paid a fortune for the tickets. My mum and dad are due to come over to babysit, so she will be with family, not just a baby sitter. Or am I just mean?

Frizbe · 05/05/2005 22:23

Oh Hula, not what you need at all, big hugs to you all, poor dd. Your not rotten, and you should go to the ball! (fairy godmother mode) family def being better than babysitter, whilst littleun's are ill, just because you know they did a good job on you!

munz · 06/05/2005 09:14

yep hula - i'd say nan's r OK, if mum's not about I'd rather have my nan than a babysitter when I was young and poorly, (only maternal nan thou!) have u had them yet? we don't want u to be infected whilst PG (not sure what the stipulations r thou for quarentien and all/ effects if TTC. hope you ahve fun at the ball.

Hulababy · 06/05/2005 09:16

Yes, both me and DH had had chicken pox, so have the grandparents on both sides! So that is not a problem luckily

popadopalis · 06/05/2005 10:58

Munz - Just caught up with your news. So so so sorry hun. Next month will be the month. When do you go for your appt at the hosp?

Worried Bev - to hear about Af. I hope she goes quickly and you can get on with the fun part!!

Hula - Poor DD! Hope she gets better soon.

Well Af had just gone again for this month. I'm still waiting for an appt to see specialist so not much hope for this month but hey miracles do happen!!! I'll be bding away as usual!! Actually going away for a week so will enjoy just me and Dh and plenty of fun, fun, fun iykwim!!!

munz · 07/05/2005 10:22

pop - it's next thursday at 10am, just been talking to jeds about hers, and looks like i'm in for a rough trott, hopefully all will go well, (i'll have the morning off work I think) AF is still here althou it's subsiding.

anyone know how long it takes for chlamidya results to come back fromt eh dr's? mine have been away for just over 2 weeks - wouldnve thought I would've heard by now if it was bad?

Frizbe · 09/05/2005 10:16

Hi all,

Hula, glad ball was great, dd is doing ok with the pox and your new house looks great! as per other thread, hope you get to move soon!

Munz, they should be back by now, I've posted a reply to you on the other thread, admitting some of my more embarassing past

Still hoping this is my month.....fingers x'd all on target so far! having a 'look whose talking' moment now! so just about onwards to the tww.....

munz · 09/05/2005 19:45

Hello ladies. I've been wanting to join this thread for ages but haven't had anything to say until now. We've been trying for no.2 for 6 months and my GP referred me for secondary infertility. We saw a consultant yesterday, lovely man. I made a bit of a fool of myself though - we knew the appointment was strictly 30 mins so we decided to talk really fast to fit in all our questions! The problem was I had practically diagnosed myself with the help of Taking Charge of Your Fertility so kept disagreeing with/questioning everything he told me. In the end I asked what he could do to help and am now waiting for AF to arrive (currently on day 56) so I can have blood tests done for FSH and LH (had tests previously but had all been on the wrong day - day 30 rather than day 2), then he wants to give me a pelvic scan. ANYWAY, now I feel I can join you as I have something to write about!

Frizbe · 10/05/2005 22:31

Hi avacadolover, welcome to the thread, it does get a bit quiet on here tho, as we're also all on the highly popular www.orderyourbabyhere.com thread, which is Rom's fantastically fertile thread, so feel free to join us over there also!

Harrizeb · 11/05/2005 11:41

Good morning ladies, please can I join your thread properly? i have been quietly lurking for a couple of months just making a note of my cycle as I have no clue how long etc.. but me and DH have decided about 20 mins ago!! to try for no 2.
Stats:
Me 34 (ouch)
DH 32
DS 23 mths
Live in Midlands
Been trying... Umm first month - I am SOOOOO excited.
Really this is our first proper attempt at TTC as DS was a lovely surprise and was 9 weeks before I realised. Have Endo which has behaved fairly nicely since having ds so hoping that this doesn't give me too many problems.

Munz glad your results came back fine - bit worrying when they take AGES over getting them back to you isn't it and fingers crossed it's not too rough next week.

LOL at Avacardolover selfdiagnosing - I'm the same the GP must groan when he see's my name on his patient list keeps them on their toes.
It's lovely and sunny here, hope you all have a good day.
H x

ChaCha · 11/05/2005 11:48

Tania2 - don't know if you remember me, but i was with you for ages on a TTC thread if my brain serves me correctly. Which thread are you on now? December??

Frizbe · 11/05/2005 12:18

Hi Harrizeb, we're trying for no2 also at the mo, now on the two week wait! as per the post below, feel free to join us all on the other thread as well, its a bit busier than this one! but highly successful!

Harrizeb · 11/05/2005 12:25

Hi Frizbe, I saw you suggested that to the other new ladies and took the liberty already how sucessful is Romilly's thread - it's brill just fingers crossed that it's her turn very very soon. After all the happiness shes giving so many others she's definately due some herself.

Harrizeb · 11/05/2005 15:27

How is your DD, hope she's recovering from the pox. DS was quite poorly with it and we had a couple of nights up sat on the sofa with him. Then the really yuck stage of finding scabs all over the bed in the morning!!!

DS is 23 mths on sunday how is your DD?

munz · 11/05/2005 18:27

hiya harzzie and welcome on board hope all is well with u.

Cha cha - how r things coming along ur end?

Tania - WOW that's gone soo quick, althou I doubt u feel that way. best of luck for ur tests and let us know how u get on. (((hugs))))

AL - hiya don't worry about not having anything to post about we talk randomness as well! 30 mins to a session? OMG where r u in the country? my first one was 1.5 hours (but I guess that's why our gyno only sees 6 new patients a month and has a waiting list of 6 months?)

Frizbe · 12/05/2005 14:39

Hi folkes, hope all well today?
Just heard a scarey story at playscheme this am, from a dad in with his Son, who'd had to deliver his daughter at home 2 weeks ago! one half hour flat delivery! argh!!!! so for all those trying for no.2, that could be you!!!

Harrizeb · 13/05/2005 18:49

Yikes! bit scarey - umm but then again I'm not sure that it'll apply to me - I think we are missing something in this TTC stuff ... Oh yes I know it's the bding - 3 days since we decided to go for it and not managed to even think about it yet no hope really. Have a good weekend everyone and hope the sun is shining for you. Off to the baby show tomorrow in Brum so will see what I can pick up.
