i am very honoured to start the april first thread (thanks george ) for the TTC for the cautious girls! (and not forgetting the blondes, dramaqueen )...and anyone else who like to join us.

and according to my ovulation dates i am 19 days past ov....hmmmmm

debbsey- cant be of any help really but im kinda the same. fertilty friends says im 4dpo as i had ewcm but my opks have yet to show positive this month!!! so just going off FF as it does says you can ov with a positive on opk and the ewcm was there.it looks like alot of us are in the same position this month- just to be sure i would BD anyhow, thats what i did- dont want to miss one do you.....go for it!

lol no going to leave it as defo ov cd12 its just the absent period on cd30 thasts getting to me but im not testing for a few days going to leave it and see what happens grateful for any symptom advice though as ive had a pain in my right hip today for a while gone now been feeling like im coming on since sun but nothing nada now when i have af it only lasts for 3 days but this feeling has been dragging on since sun.Not seen any red blood just 2 wipes of brown blood since sun(sorry to be so grafic)

Tabs, I'm cd29 13 dpo, used to have a 28 day cycle now last 3 mths has been 34-35 days.
No signs whatsoever of pregnancy but think PMT is upon me

Debbsy - it really does sound positive to me. The Calista reading could be explained by either the fact that you are late in your cycle, and there's a second oestrogen surge late on which could cause you to fern, or, apparently when pg you can also fern lots!!! Read this a while back when forum surfing - there was a girl who'd written to the manufacturer asking several questions on behalf of all the girls using them, and they intimated that it could be caused by pregnancy, but they weren't licensed to sell it as a pregnancy test, so they couldn't say that on the leaflet!!

Obviously don't want to get your hopes up falsely, but the pains sound really like early pg symptoms too, so I'd honestly be inclined to test sooner rather than later, especially if you're sure that you ov'ed 19 days ago (and I'm not a gung ho tester like lots of the ladies on here )

Shall be keeping my fingers crossed for you, but suggest you get your order fulfilled before Rom gets her test result and hopefully starts a new thread!

hi MUnz my test were all clear so now i have to wait untill next tuesday for a scan, so at least i know y thyroid is fine. i had a scare yesterday morning when i woke up the bleeding was so heavy my bed/dh/andmyself was soaked in blood, i sat on the toilet and it jussed ran out of me bright red i thought i had hemorraged, i passed out several times and had to get my mum to help me get ds dressed and everything, but stupidly i didnt go to hospital i hate them so much, i know i should have but mysteriouslt today the bleeding has stopped though i still feel very dizzy and tired, i probably shouldnt say as im probably tempt fate and it will start again. but oh well im just waiting for next tuesday for my sacn and hopefully i can get sorted, thanks for asking xxxx hope everyones ok and doing well good luck for any testers and {hugs} for andbodys who af has arrived, oh what the hell hugs for everyone!

charlie dont wish to alarm you but you dr should now about this like NOW im no dr but it sounds like a cyst erupting also for heavy bleed have you been checked for amaemia? you can tell by pulling down your bottom eye lid if its pale in colour chances are your anaemic like i used to be yars ago and had the same as you.xx

HI Debbsy thanks for your concern i phoned my g.p she said that she couldnt do anything untill i had had the scan and thats why its on tuesday (emergency appointment my arse) it was ment to be for the end of June my local hospital is crap and theres not another near by so tuesday is the next emergeny one they had, my blood test was for anemia but that when i was having the constant light bleeding so dont know about now but if it happens again i will go straight to a&e, di you have cists that burt or know some one who did what was hte outcome and treatment however scary i would like to know ta. thanks again x

i had a cyst on the ovary that kept growing but bcos it grew under 4cms they wont remone i spent from the end of nov until the 12th feb 2004 in hospital i kept collapsing in agony having every test known to man had scans galore cutting a v v long story short there was one time i had a scan and it was just before my period and it showed the cyst to be gone so they wouldnt do anything i had a laproscopy to put my mind at rest that all my bits were ok but that was cos i had spent 2 mths going out of my mind with worry thinking i couldnt have any babies and the end result was twisted appendics that burst in theatre.i do know though from time spent in there that large cysts cause lots of bleeding.

thanks debbsy and im sorry you went through such hell, i havent had any pain at all just light bleeding that suddenly went crazy, i have no appendix to get twisted, but will just have to wait for scan. but i know what you mean i have been worried sick and havent slept alot its been 8 months now since ds was born and i have been bleeding the whole time, i just cant wait for it to be over.

Are your partner's fingers the same length on each hand? How about the length of his ring finger versus the length of his index finger - is one longer than the other? If so, these could all be signs of how quickly he can conceive a child.

Interesing new studies conducted at a fertility clinic at the University of Liverpool found that the length of a man's fingers has a surprising correlation to his ability to father a child. Specfically, if the fingers on a man's left and right hands are relatively the same size, his sperm count is probably high. If, on the other hand, the fingers on one hand differ dramatically in size from the other, sperm count may be low, and the sperm he does have may not be as active as necessary for conception. Finally, a man whose ring finger is much longer than his index finger is likely to have high levels of testosterone, so he may be more fertile.

Conversely, a woman who has a longer index finger than ring finger on either hand may have an abundance of oestrogen, which in turn means she is more fertile.

hi guys, sorry not given any news but my braodband decided to die on me...grrr!

anyway, still no af, loads of cm still, keep thinking af has come but it cm (sorry!), not done another test as i am trying to hold off till sun when i will be a wk late, i am dying to do another though but i gotta be patient as it will just make me go mad if i got another -neg! i "know" i am pg, just feel i am, weird! still got all the symptoms, just need confirmation....again!! lol, thanks for all the msgs, good luck to you all xxx

ermm ladies still no af nothing at all on cd31 now think im going to test tomorrow.

on calista got lots of fern patterns too.Boobs not as sore today though dont haveto hold them when going up and down stairs today is this a sign perhaps that im not pregnant?

Have to admit I find it amusing each time people type Lilosmum instead of Lilsmum - keeps making me think of Bread and Lilolil!! Anyone else fancy Adrian at the time instead of Joey? (In fact anyone else even got a clue what I'm on about )

Anyway, got on my OPK this morning, so have been putting Bella's morning theory to the test again . Am out til v late this evening, so guess it's just once more for luck tomorrow morning and then I'll be ready to join the paranoid symptom analysing game!
