Your symptons sound like a good sign though fingers crossed for you.

I have stabbing pains very low in pelvis and then nothing and then pains again think AF is coming, thats about right Bugger.

I hate this TTC its doing me in.

Puss, those suigns sound good to me. Could well be that you've tested too early. I didn't get bfps with dds until at least 5 days after af due, and they were the super early tests too
Ray, don't give up hope yet! Those pains could be implantation ones - do you usualyl get cramps a week before af?
I've had dull cramps since yesterday, on and off. Also had a single smudge of pinksish blood, then nothing since. Don't want to get my hopes up as I've had this before and nnothing came of it - still, an outside chance it could be implantation!
A little dilemma....I have a hair appointment tomorrow for colour (roots) and my stylist does a special technique when I'm pregnant that avoids contact with scalp (bit like highlights technique but covers roots). I don't want to put my life on hold, but may tale a test tomorrow morning just in case then I could tell her? Thing is probably too early for me even if I am pregnant, so maybe don't bother testing until af due and then take it from there? Am going backwards and forwards on this one, so any advice appreciated!

Gosh Puss you are even worse than me!!! Its almost like if you pee on a stick a genie will appear and grant you 3 wishes! wouldn't that be nice!

I have not even bought any this month. For me a BFN is just as bad as AF as thats what it normally turns into.

I do feel so so tired today even though i slept well last night and didn't stay up watching crappy tv. And this morning felt very light headed on several occasions which is a bit unusual for me.

Funnily enough i need to wee lots just prior to af but have not had that so far. My spots have arrived though. Dont thinks its very fair that a 30year old still gets bloody pimples!!!!! oh such is life. im just rambling now.......

well to add to the obsessiveness i've gone and stocked up on FR early tests, got a pack of 3 for price of 2 so at least i got a bargain!

ONly 5 days to go!!! To make things worse i had to go buy a pg kit with my friend at work as she thinks she is but doesn't want to be - how ironic is that!!! Was tempted to buy 1 which was for 6 days before period but stopped myself. have aching boobs but that i bet is pmt and really grumpy and weepy but again pmt. Why oh why was i born a women!!!! I am sure i am not pg and expect af on mon , i am psychologically preparing myself in advanced for it so not too diappointed. We will have to continue this thread all next month for those unlucky enough not to have a pos so we can spur each other on - its better than therapy!!!

Maybe we should have a test day. that sounds so obsessed its not funny. Yet i find myself not deleting previous sentence. anyone up for it? sunday?

used OPK & got + last Saturday/Sunday, felt sharp twingy/cramps on Monday (so guessed this was O).

that would make me approx 8dpo yesterday. When i went to the loo yesterday evening, i had a smear of bright red stained cm. then nothing more.

today, i've had a little brown stained cm when i wipe. nothing red. have sore bbs, but this could be the case for pg or af!

IS this the start of AF? Very early though? would make for a short lp?

COULD it be implantation bleed?

Evening! Just to report the first BFP of the thread . Had a smudge of blood on Tues, after cramps all day (9 days after ov) and got BFP this afternoon - very faint line but def there!
DINKY, sounds a very similar pattern to mine - how many days post-ov are you?

Due today yesterday and next week. Af very unpredictable....I think it is on its way, but soooo hoping it's not....can i join you until I find out either way?

LOL, tmi no problem . Had cramps all morning on Tuesday (9 days post-ov). That evening when I'd had a wee there was a bright pinky red smear on the paper, the same sort of colour if you'd cut your finger and dripped it onto a tissue. Amount-wise I'd say about a cm - enough to notice, but not needing a pad or even close. Still having cramps etc but know from previous pregnancies that this is normal for me.
Will keep everything crossed for you . It would be very early for af for you if due next week - that thought that made me test!

yes, i had cramps with ds1 for first 8wks, bled at 7wks, and they scanned & said implantation.

did hpt two days ago and got bfn, but would have only been 6dpo!!!

am i right in thinking you can only get a bfp on hpt when there is a placenta (as it's the placenta that makes the hcg thats detected]. so unless implantation has happened, it will be bfn

welcome blackrock - i am much the same. cycle anywhere from 21-30 days so just waiting. not feeling hopeful thou as dh away in berlin doing berlin marathon (yes hes crazy) when ov. pounced on him before he left for it and the minute he got back from it thou (poor thing was aching from head to foot but still agreed to bd - not often he says no!)

I am not testing early this month!!!!!!

Dinky, not sure if it's the placenta, but I do know that hcg (the chemical detected in pregnancy tests) is only released after implantation - hence as you say before then it would be a bfn. Hope this helps

Do not normally have pains until AF due, but do have sore BB and spots which is usual. Realy tring so hard not to get hopes up but its realy difficult its all thats on my mind at the mo. On CD 28 and feel like have AF pains but not sure. just have to wait and see. My prob is never sure when OV.

Hi Ques welcome, i am 11DPO but think lp is 16-17 days so need to wait to do BF. I realy hope it has worked for you.

I don't know what to think tbh. One minute I convince myself I am pregnant and the next I convince myself that my period is coming.

I. Must. Not. Test. Until. Tuesday. [yeah right emoticon]

I must get up to speed with all the acronyms etc. I've never really done this TTC thing properly, it's always just been a wait and see approach before.

Had a very very minute amt of brown mucus this am....I mean we are talking barely there on the tissue so...could be the start of AF or implantation...I resisted the urge to test this am as I thinking about my pg with DS, I don't think I get BFP until had implanation, which I got the day af was due with DS - I thought it was my period as didn't know about implanation bleeding then....oh those happy less obsessed days! lol

Am very hungry and sensitive to smells but I had that last month and wasn't pg so....

Ps how do you work out LP?

I keep getting very mild period pains, is that a sign of PG. My (.)(.) are still having odd sensations too and i keep getting hard nips!!

Oh i have to wait until 17th which feels like ages away!
