Congratulations!

Diege · 08/10/2008 20:06

Thanks everyone I like the little note too Latour - will work out due date and let you know! Just hope I'm not jinxing things, but I'm the sort of person that does get a little carried away and finds it very hard to hold back .
Told dh as he was washing cutlery in the sink - my timing never was very good . He is amazed but very pleased, and was last seen leaving the house to get me a Nandos shaking his head and muttering 'fancy you getting a positive..' . So smiles all round in diege household tonight He agreed the line was def. there, and then next question, 'does that mean no more goffing for a while'? Men eh .

LaTourEiffel · 08/10/2008 20:46

Diege! at BFP (in a good way) and at DH getting you a Nandos! LOL at no more goffing!!!

DH is pleased for you too

So, what was your program of GOF'ing this month - every other day? I could do with all the tips possible!

(Not got long as have to drag DH up to bed soon!)

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 08/10/2008 20:49

more
nite nite

LaTourEiffel · 08/10/2008 20:57

G'night Tink! (Congrats on all the shopping all the way )

Diege · 08/10/2008 21:11

Latour, Goff pattern was as follows. Every other day from day 9 until 15. Meant to do day 17 too but knackered . Did ov stick from day 10 onwards and got a positive day 13. Had bad cramps straight after day 13 gof (so maybe ovulated then), but no symtoms other than slightly sore boobs and spotting yesterday. I think pre-seed was crucial too as no ewm this month . Also put cushion under bottom for 5 mins after goff (no longer, as according to the 'Getting Pregnant Faster' book I've been reading you get the strongest sperms then . Also been taking super duper strength preconcpetion vits and fish oils .
Oh and due date (fingers crossed) would be June 22 if everything goes to plan

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/10/2008 07:15

Morning

June 22nd It's my birthday It actually took me about a minute to work out why that date meant something to me

Have lovely mental picture of the strongest sperm with big arm muscles swimming down your insides.... think I might leave it there....

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 09/10/2008 08:23

morning
oh wow june my bday is june the 5th
a great month to have a baby
lol @ sperm nat
we are off too look in asda today going to peek @ more baby clothes
is is very foggy and cold here

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/10/2008 08:28

Tink, you always have the exact same weather as me, t'is also foggy and cold here, (I think we are in the cloud though rather than 'proper' fog) I am still the only one with no coat on, vest top and sweating my arse off, this pregnancy lark does odd things to your body!

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 09/10/2008 08:33

i am the opposit nat always freezing
send ove some of your heat please

Diege · 09/10/2008 09:18

Morning Wow Nat that's amazing my due date being your birthday, though I should say all 3 dds were 5/6 days early so nearer 15/16th I'd say.
We also had mist this morning but now it is bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky!
Me and dh have decided to not to sell a soul about the pregnancy. I know people say if anything goes wrong you'll need support etc from the people close to you, but I actually found telling people quite an ordeal. So it's just the wagon and, at 11 o clock my hairdresser so she can do my colour so it doesn't touch scalp
I am trying to think of myself as 'pre-pregnant' as still a very faint line when I tested this morning but def there and within test time. Will resist testing again until af late and maybe risk the freebie clear blue one that I still have [smilee] Still very happy, but remaining philosphical - what will be will be!

Diege · 09/10/2008 09:19

tell a soul!

2beautifulgalsandabean · 09/10/2008 09:23

Congratulations Diege

Cosmogirl · 09/10/2008 09:46

Congratulations Diege! Really happy for you You are one fertile myrtle.

GYo · 09/10/2008 10:56

Morning all

Still very excited here for Diege. Amusing re DH's comment and the GOFing- seems to be the common theme!

Hope you enjoyed the hairdressers
(PS what exactly is the issue with colour and being preg? I didnt tell them last time, kind of forgot but going this sat and wonder if I should mention it...)

Lovely re June due date and birthdays. Mine is 10th! its a lovely month for a baby and a birthday, of course!

Weather in my bit 'down south' is sunny and blue skys...

Still on sofa with blanket (well, techically I only just got up but still..) if it wasnt for the work guilt and the coughing etc, I'd almost enjoy it.

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 09/10/2008 11:39

hi

diege
have a good time @ hairdressers
poor u gyo @ least it is the weekend soon
hi cosmo waves

GYo · 09/10/2008 12:12

Hi Tink

Great about the clothes... sounds like there is lots of choice now that the winter stuff is in! love the sound of the stripey leggings

I bought two wispas yesterday too - sat in fridge- love them, hope they keep doing them longer this time!

Cosmogirl · 09/10/2008 12:19

Hi Tink - clothes sound lovely Part of me would love this baby to be a little girl so I can go shopping for all frilly, girly pink things!

I'll join the wispa fan club too. So pleased they are back again. DH came home the other night with two wispas for me and the Sex and The City movie, extended edition. Twas a very happy bunny! Supposed to be working from home today bit am very unmotivated and have been doing some housework instead....naughty me....Bring on le weekend!

GruffaloSoldier · 09/10/2008 12:38

Hi all!

CONGRATULATIONS DIEGE!!!

So happy for you and there seems to be a lot of us with birthdays in June as mine is 25th!

Also LOVE wispas tink/cosmo

I have the post horrific cold and sore throat so have been in bed most of the morning and am now on sofa with a blanket too Gyo. It is so horrible

Im also awaiting my Masters results over the next couple of days so getting a bit nervous - eek!

Have to work this afternoon 2-5pm so am desperately trying to get better in the next hour. Hmmm...

GYo · 09/10/2008 13:09

Hi Gruff
Another june birthday! wow! that makes 4 so far.
Sending over my cold/ bug sympathies! Really rubbish isnt it. Im sure its worse for being pregnant- most things are though really! Unless its a particularly vicious strain of a cold. I've never blown my nose this much before!

Such a nice day out too... seems a shame to
be on the sofa...

How did the telling everyone go (about the baby!)?

Good luck with the masters results- keep us posted!

GYo · 09/10/2008 13:10

ooh hope i didnt pass my bug to your over the 331!!
