Worked 8.30-7.30 today so feeling very tired now.

Gyo - welcome back! its good to have you back 'properly' I too am contemplating finding out gender. Dh def wants to know. I just think I will burst if i dont find out. im so impatient. have never been great at surprises though!

Glask - thats terrible about your poor ds. i cant believe he got it from nursery.
Im def with you on s&v crisps. infact any salty crisps or snack for that matter are my saviour!

Hello everyone else!

GYo · 06/10/2008 21:43

Evening again!

Hi KK, nice to see you here, glad the ofsted went well hope the 2ww isnt too long for you... fingers crossed. We are due some BFPs on this thread again soon!

Hi Gruff- was thinking of you tonight when i drove down the 331! Very exciting re the scan, dont forget to post some pics! Good luck and let us know how things have gone!

Im seeing the MW tomorrow for first proper check over since initial book in and bloods. Will be 17wks so hope she will get a heartbeat.

Im sure I can feel movement now but could be wind... but its only in the evening when im sitting still on the sofa or in bed....

Yawn- been righting the jetlag too long now. Bed is calling.

Bye everyone.

GYo · 06/10/2008 21:44

PS- LB- your meal out makes me feel hungry despite having a big meal myself!

What did you have?

GruffaloSoldier · 06/10/2008 22:37

im gona go to bed too. cant believe how quick the last few days have gone and now scan is finally here (almost)!

SesHasapinkline · 06/10/2008 22:46

Gruff - can't wait to hear about scan

Kooky - well done on getting thru Ofsted!

Glaskham - hope bonjela helps any discomfort. FWIW I think these infections tend to get less aggressive each time they return unless the person is v run down.

LB - meal out sounds good

Hello to anyone else lurking out there!

You buggers! The one night I post and don't check back after and there you all are!!!

KK, sorry you're feeling down, I know its hard but there's only one thing to do and that's to keep trying. If you skip the mc (which i know the medical people don't do, they reset the clock, as it were) I'll be 10 months this month, and to be honest, can't actually even imagine myself being pregnant anymore. Its really weird reading everyone's elses progress too, I feel very detached from it like its only something that will happen to others, IYSWIM .

GS - good luck at your scan tomorrow, look forward to seeing your little soldier's piccy! GYo, hope the 'eavesdropping' goes OK tomorrow for you too! I cried the first time I heard DS at 16 weeks (and I'm a tubby so you should be fine!)

Today is CD8. Not really sure what to do with that information I don't generally OV till around CD18 or so, so I guess plenty of time to 'warm up' in the bedroom.

Must get on and order some more pre-seed too! Anyway, I should be in bed, I'm only still here coz I can't be bothered to get off the sofa!

Goodnight all, sorry I missed you!

LaTourEiffel · 06/10/2008 22:52

Just re-read my post, it sounds like i'm after sympathy a bit, when I say I can't imagine being pregnant, but I'm not...just don't feel very caught up in it all.

In some bizarre way, I think the waiting for period time between the mc and period has allowed me to step back as it was taking over everything before - and I couldn't imagine NOT being pregnant.

Now I've re-read that and I still don't know if I make any sense , I'll just go to bed I think!!! x

SesHasapinkline · 06/10/2008 22:56

Don't worry LaTour - makes sense to me
Sleep well [snoozle emoticon]

Will also try and get some serious MNing some work done today so will be on and offline....

SesHasapinkline · 07/10/2008 09:46

Morning!

Tink - good question... Currently we both get home from work about 6.30 to 7pm. I then sort dinner out whilst DH walks dogs. By the time we've eaten dinner it's about 8.30 and DH will watch tv til he goes to bed at 10 to 10.30pm. Sometimes I'll watch with him, sometimes I'll do some work or washing or will watch something else on tv upstairs in bedroom. DH normally comes home tired and doesn't want to do much else on a week night. I am always out on a Monday evening and normally one other evening each week with friends. Guess the whole routine will change a bit with a baby though!

OP posts:
glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 07/10/2008 10:05

Morning tink & ses

DH comes home at 6.30ish on an early and about 8.45ish on a late, the kids routine is almost always the same, tea, bath then bed between 7 and 7.30 if we're all eating together.

When the kids are in bed i'll then watch my soaps while DH plays the xbox, but we're still in the same room and chat etc... then we'll normally go to bed between 9 & 10, sometimes we'll watch a film in bed (and i'll fall asleep 10mins in) or we'll just watch tv till i go to sleep.

When he's on a late i tend to eat with the kids and will cook him tea when he gets in, then he'll sit and watch half an hour of tv or something then we'll go to bed.

I can't remember the last time we didn't do our normal routine, neither of us really go out, DH has football on sundays and i'll always be in bed, most of time asleep, by time he's home at 10ish.

DH has taken DS with him and they've gone to collect the cotbed!! how exiting!! and i'm pretty certain i felt some fluttering movements this morning!! also very exiting!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 07/10/2008 10:06

gruff!! sorry forgot to say hope all is well at your scan!! can't wait to see pics!!

Diege · 07/10/2008 10:23

Morning . Sorry for my unauthorised leave of absence - pesky work again
HJaven't had a chance to cvarch up other than last few posts , but wanted to say congrats to Glask on movement - that's early! Good luck with scan GRUFF! LATOUR - am with you on the feeling slightly detatched from the whole thing - very normal and probably quite healthy considering what we've been through. I'm, not holding out much hope for this months ('symptoms' seen to have disappeared, af due Monday). Fine about it though - have been feeling so stressed lately that I don't feel emotionally ready for the rollarcoaster of pregnancy just yet I'll admit.
Right, better get on, colleagues looking over shoulder every time she passes

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 07/10/2008 11:01

Morning

Also sorry for unauthorised leave, 'puter ha been poorly, but I spent the weekend sorting room and getting the last bits ordered and shopped for, then Sunday DS1 got ill - again, spent all day yesterday on the sofa, last night temp spiked and he was sick again, he slept all night, woke up at gone 9 this morning (never heard of before!) but he was 100% better, other than his cold still! So I have sent him to school Am quite pissed off actually if I knew he was going to be fine I'd have woken him up at normal time and then I would have made my MW appointment, had to cancel it again, so it's going to be another week before I see her.

Gruff, good luck for scan - how exciting!

Tink, huge congrats on your little girl I was sooooo at the computer for breaking down at the critical moment!

Sorky, good to hear from you! And also huge congrats on your little girl Is your sickness better now?

Not sure I can remember anything else

Those that have asked about the nursery stuff, I still haven't sorted through it all properly yet... off the top of my head there is, some curtains and tie backs (these are small - will get measurments as and when, also they are faded from the sun in some parts, but you can only see that in certain lights) there is a cot tidy thing, a cot bumper, a light shade, had terrible pregnancy brain and thought I'd have the bedding that matches it all but DS2 would be cold without it I think I am sure there must be other stuff up there as well, obviously this isn't my auction, but it is the same as this. I will get round to sorting through it all, we are on a strict schedule ( I even wrote it on the calender LOL) to get the room striped out and painted over the next two weekends, and to strip the room out I have to sort through the old stuff in there, so it will get done!

I have agreed through my teeth to take DS2 over to school for part of a 'how we grow' lesson for the reception kids this afternoon, but have put DS2 into bed with a bit of a temp. will have to see how he is when he wakes up, obviously this bug DS1 has had is going to do the rounds

Speaking of bugs... DS1 last night when he was feeling poorly, OMG I so nearly PMSL at him LOL He said, in that poorly voice they pull out of the bag at any given moment, "I hate these bugs that are going round, there are just too many of them, everyday at school there is a wasp in the playground, I bet I got this bug off one of them" Bless him!

Have I waffled enough for one post? Methinks yes!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 07/10/2008 11:01

Sorry t'was even bigger than I thought!

SesHasapinkline · 07/10/2008 11:12

Hi Diege & NJ! Tut, tut at being AWOL!!
Hope 'puter feeling much better NJ and Diege, work really must stop getting in the way of MN!

I'm sorting out clothes this morning. One pile for charity shop, one pile to get packed away as if all goes well, I won't fit into them for a year and the rest to get put away in new bedroom!

House is only half full of boxes now. We're slowly getting there!

Does anyone know what time Gruff's scan is? I've got date for my 12 week scan through - 28th Oct.
