Diege · 04/10/2008 16:30

Hello everyone - so where's the tink-mister?? Hope everyone is well - great going on the house move SES , hi GYO (good trip?), Lardy, Nat
Glad thinks have calmed down 2BG - though sorry for ms!
Well, we have only gone and bought a cockatiel . The idea was to provide a focus/distraction for the girls so that the eventual conclusions about big cat would be 'sugar coated' iyswim...sooo, we have a very large cage and are awaiting collection tomorrow of a baby cockatiel . I had one for 12 years in my 20s, so will be nice to have another bird again. TBH, I can't cope with the stress of losing somethig else again, so the cage should prevent that!
Oh meant to say LATOUR that the heavy legs thing is perfectly normal once in a while with running. Depends on electrolyte balance in body, which can be influenced by fluids, what you've just eaten, even amount of sleep. You will lose weight, although it's good to make sure you vary the route from time to time so that your muscles don't get used to what you're asking them - if this happens weight-loss can stagnate.
Right, best go and get cage ready. What have we done!!!

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 04/10/2008 16:31

Diege · 04/10/2008 16:39

Wow TINKS congratualations!!!!!! . That's wonderful news, you must be really pleased, and I can tell you that two little girls are so much fun - very sweet together and they really get absorbed in imaginary play etc. You can relax now too and focus on deciding on a name

2beautifulgalsandabean · 04/10/2008 16:51

Congratulations Tink, great news and picture.

Congrats Tink! Both lovely names there too!

Cockatiel sounds good diege. For a minute I thought it was a cockerel though

I am so cold today. Have finally succumbed to heating!

DH is away camping in Bournemouth at a unicycle convention. Last night he said it was 4 degrees! Brrr! So glad i didnt go!

So on my lonesome this weekend, feeling sorry for myself. Working tomorrow all day

Looking forward to an evening in with x factor though

Diege · 05/10/2008 08:00

Morning . Have been awake since 5ish so thought I would save up my credits with dh and let him have a lie-in while I got up with dds. Only now I am entering that tired woozy stage and I want my bed!
Have a friend of dh's visiting at 9 and then off to Stockport this afternoon to collect 'Harvey' (dds name - other options were 'Theodore' (hmm, that's my 'ds' name) and Billy Baker . Oh and I have spotted a 'nit' on dd3's head so now of course I can't stop scratching. Any reommendations from those with previous experience appreciated!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 05/10/2008 08:48

I haven't had them on any of my 2 yet (but expecting them from DS with the state of his nursery friends) But a friend uses that 'full marks' 10 min solution on her 2 step-kids when they get them and swears by it!!

I'm in 2 minds as to wether to go to a 'friends' son's christening today.... I haven't seen her in nearly a year, same with the rest of them who will be there- they never bother with me since i moved and then i normally get invites for DS to go to their DC's birthday's and then none of them ever make DS's birthday party. It's be nice to catch up with the few who i do still chat to, even if we dont meet up.... but the rest will seem weird seeing them after all this time!!

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 05/10/2008 08:50

morning
going to my mums this morning to get all dds newborn and 0-3 month clothes and baby soft toys cant wait to see what she had. then i can put all bits in the draws and can see what i have got before i go mad getting pink bits

OP posts:
BBeingpatient · 05/10/2008 11:39

well ses.....

DP and i arent really at it alot lately but at the weekends we make up for it IYSWIM ? and this cycle ive missed a few pills, prob averaging one a week and particularly a few this week at least three this week.... am due on next week anywhen frm thurs so we shall see, but there is a slight chance..... however it throws up its own complications doesnt it? i mean DP wouldnt be unhapy or anything but we had said dec and also it would make work awkward however i spose i wouldnt need to say anything until jan. I still have an early indication test left from when we were TTC, so i think if No AF by next sat it will be
POAS time!!

although im trying not to get my hopes up too much x

SesHasapinkline · 05/10/2008 11:47

Ooh! Sounds like your pill won't have been effective so maybe will depend on when you ovulated. Have you started symptom spotting?!

OP posts:
BBeingpatient · 05/10/2008 11:51

trying desperately not too but...
have had a few days of utter mindfuzz absent mindedness, and have been feeling nauseus after eating and in the mornings however that could be down to getting bread out of my system as i have a mild bread sensitivity..it makes me sick if i eat more than a slice etc, sickness which in theory could have also affected the pill as ive had some (TMI!!) toilet accompliments too.

TBH im not sure there's much of a chance but we were GOFing mid and end of pill induced cycle and experts say sperm can live for a while so i spose i will just have to wait and see...something im no good at!!!x

LaTourEiffel · 05/10/2008 13:12

Morning all - just a quick catch up, have PIL here so can't be on for long!

Tink - Congrats on DD2! Is your DD ok with it, as she seemed quite set on a baby brother?

Diege - I've been running around the park outside my house, and can never work out when the man on my podcast is going to tell me to run (so can't work out how many running sections are left each time) so end up going in all sorts of different directions. Its my last run of week 2 today, if the weather stays dry enough - I'll be going a bit later though, after the PIL have gone.

BB - Sounds exciting! Keep us posted!

NJ - Not sure how I'd get it, or even if I should as its quite optimistic...but I'm curious about your chair - I wanted one for DS but couldn't afford it back then (not when we had no carpets, they took priority!) but DH promised I could have one second time around....maybe I'd have to come and visit and try it out

wilsonmummy · 05/10/2008 15:08

Hey all!!

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 05/10/2008 17:24
