Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

fresco · 08/03/2005 16:27

why do ov cramps last so long?mine must last about a week. i dont know if thats standard?

Worriedbev · 08/03/2005 16:31

Munzieb

The doctor said just to keep trying for now but I am due to go back to see him about something totally different in about 10 days time and he knows we are trying so I will mention it. I had a blood test not too long ago and he said there was plenty of oestrogen there, not the menopause thank god, as I am 41, and we were awaiting result of DH's sperm test at the time. It might be worth mentioning further tests for me, although I have a little one, she is not so little now, 11 years old from a previous relationship but still my baby.

I wish the doctor had said how many sperm DH had although she couldnt have been worried and the quality were good so at least they know where to head for!!

Bev

fresco - I don't know hon, mine (when I ahve them) is only for a few seconds, (but enough for me to stop what i'm doing) normally thou I don't have them - is that normal?

horseshoe · 08/03/2005 16:37

Hi all,

Cor feels like I have been away for ages. Didn't have MN access for at least a week

WB i'm so please for you.....I know how worried you were but at least thats a big weight lifted off your shoulders. keep trying.

i have been rather slack this month. I found I was getting very obsessive about TTC and it was actually making me quite ill. I have decided to have a couple of months off to give myself a break.....still bedding though...you never know

CP3 Big congrats to you

sparkly, I've only managed to scan through the mails but how are you feeling now. Big hugs to you.

And where is MINNIE1...like me probably lurking. We'll rear our heads again when AF due i'm sure.

cp3 · 08/03/2005 17:10

Well 5 tests later including a early response one and one left for the morning and im still pregnant. There was one negative but the rest are all posotive so im finally gonna believe it. Went to work and told Dp and he just grinned from ear to ear and said he needed a drink.

sparkly · 08/03/2005 17:40

Cadmum/horseshoe - thanks for thinking of me. I'm doing ok I think. Overheard conversation at school gates today I could have lived without. One of the woman found out today she's having a boy and not a girl like she wanted and was actually upset. Her husband rang whilst we were waiting and she came back to us all and said "he said I can buy something sparkly and choose the name". I thought how dare she be so fussy. But I think I'd have felt like that if last week hadn't happened if you know what I mean. Went back to work yesterday but came home early because have some cold/flu type thing which has made me feel horrid.

I'm going to start ttc'ing again after next arrival of AF so hope to be around properly again soon.

Cadmum - keep meaning to say I'm Canadian ... but have been over in the UK a long time now. Whereabouts in Canada are you??

cp3 - sorry for hijack - really pleased for you and telling your dp must have been a great moment!

Cadmum · 08/03/2005 18:03

Sparkly, I am in Ottawa. Was in London, UK for four years and prior to that was in Alberta. (Grew up in Victoria though) Where do you/did you live?

sparkly · 08/03/2005 18:17

Grew up just outside of Victoria (well, from the age of about 3). Moved here after uni - more years ago than I would like to admit!

munnzieb · 08/03/2005 20:18

WB - I wouldn't worry, if the DR's happy then u be happy is what I recon!

Boogiebear · 08/03/2005 20:20

Hi, any other tips for ttc, I caught on straight away with my son & also with the two miscarriages but nothing seems to be happening this time. Maybe I am just being impatient

RudyDudy · 08/03/2005 20:23

hello ttc'ers - hope you're all doing well. have finally accepted the fact that I am actually pg and am now ready to part with an unopened box of persona sticks. Will send free to the first person to CAT me their address.

Good luck and babydust to you all - RD xxx

munnzieb · 08/03/2005 20:41

ah thanks hon, right i'm now off after chattin with DH briefly - god I miss him today, and I love him... hmmm. (he's got me a load of wine cos he knew i'd like it!) anyhow!

i'm off to watch my fave CSI man instead as a consolation prize! lol.

fresco · 09/03/2005 07:18

munn-do you watch CSI too?its good innit?
we bed on the pillow too.well from his 6'1 and my 5' i am too low for him and he is too high so need the pillow.and then i lay there like a plonker.but i make sure that he goes deep inside and when he does nothing leaks.

munnzieb · 09/03/2005 08:43

yes fresco I do, DH has told me he's going to buy me the seasons 1-4 where he is cos it's only $70 which is about £35-£40 for the complete lot, (and troy as well) so i'm dead happy!

DH is 6'3 and i'm bearly 5'1 so we have the same problems, he also took great delight in telling me last night he's put on a stone since being abroad - and he wanted to loose it! lol, so he's now 14 stone, it's good thou cos he was a skinny runt b4 and hopefully now he's beefed up a bit!

piffle · 09/03/2005 11:28

another day another test still bloody negative!
Where oh where is my af?
Should I try a different test brand or is that being really dim, dh bought boots own brand and thats what I've used. I even held of weeing in the night for proper early morning sample and no line!!!!
My af's have always been 28-30 days I'm now on day 35, anyone had loads of negs then a + later on?
I recall actually with my son I tested neg for ages...
Hmmm
I've given up alcohol too!!!!
Cp3 I'm s pleased for you, do you still look like a film star when pg?
LOL

cp3 · 09/03/2005 11:52

Piffle a fat film star My lines are really faint but def there. Are you sure you have your dates right piffle. I did 5 tests and only one was negative. Hope your af comes soon then at least you know either way. You could aleays try a bloodtest at the docs

piffle · 09/03/2005 12:04

dates def right, I spent £350 on my credit card shopping the day my last af started so easy to track that date, plus I diary everything anyway as I forget and as we are ttc well you know what I mean.
Am torn as feel need to know due to ectopic and risk (albeit slight) of it happening again.
But also realise that there could be other reasons as to why it is late...
what to do....
eeeks

fresco · 09/03/2005 12:10

pifle, i would go to docs and mayb a blood test? especially if you never late hen
