Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

hello all
CD9 of 28 cycle here so bding starts! I hate the 'pressure' though - don't you?

Fresco, I didn't have to go into docs to get results but my GP is lovely and wanted to discuss them with me.

good luck everyone

Hello ladies.

Feeling a bit crappy today, wondering when it's going to happen for me. Also feel a bit blah but not exactly sick. Keep thinking that I'm the only one feeling like this but then I read this thread and realise it's probably cos I'm post ov and waiting, waiting, waiting as always.

Sorry for being depressing.

Been reading this and hearing about mag, agnus castus and zinc for Dh. Can anyone explain cos I haven't heard of using these things?

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:11

I just take folic acid and mum to be tablets. Am nearly weaned off my ad's so am very proud of myself.

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:12

Big fan of pregnacare! Been taking it since I starting TTC.

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:13

Pop im post ov too but feeling ok. Im trying to build enthusiam to carry on bding so my partner doesnt feel used. Im alwways so up for it begining of cycle but loose interest after ov. Is that terrible??

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:17

cp3 - I don't think it's bad. I'm exactly the same. Poor Dh came looking for some last night and my first instinct was there's no point but quickly had to cover it up and be all "absolutely darling, I'm so horny for you baby!".

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:18

I wouldnt go that far Pop. I just say oh alright then

munnzieb · 02/03/2005 09:24

lol@ pop, well normally we're both so knackered at going at it hamemr and tongs for the first 2.5 weeks we can't be arsed the rest of the time! lol.

zinc is ment to help with DH's spearms and make them healthier. Angus Catcus is ment to help balance hormones, a lot of pre menopausal women use it, but they recon in a study of 20 women 3 were PG or something like that after taking it. (also it's ment to ehlp with PMT)

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:25

cp3 - Only been married for about 8 months so I'll get to that stage soon! Still in the honeymoon-ish stage! Plus Dh quite sensitive and it's not worth the days of moping!!!!

So is anyone ready to test soon? I'm CD28 of 33-35ish day cycle. Feeling a bit sicky this morning but most probably due to the large quantity of chocolate I consumed late last night in an attempt to console myself!!

expatinscotland · 02/03/2005 09:26

Katie
Glad to hear your accupuncture appointment went well! It really works.

Waiting for AF to show up next Tuesday and am getting all the usual feelings I get the week before AF. Am anxious for her to appear so as to move onto the next cycle. But sort of miffed b/c my sister will be here to visit on Sunday - hate to be bothered by AF. So I've stocked up on ibuprofen to be ready for the cramps.

katierocket · 02/03/2005 09:27

thanks expat, I have to say that I am very intrigued by it all.

I HATE the week before AF when you have cramps etc - you just want it to come so you can move on but at the same time you think well maybe...

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:30

Hey munzie!! We used to be at it everyday but it got to the stage where poor Dh was so knackered by the time that I was ov that he was backing away!!! I was like a head mistress with a whip, "You will do it because I said so".

P.S. There was no actual whip involved

fresco · 02/03/2005 09:31

sparkly, big huggies for you, and mayb still a chance for you to be pg? lots of thoughts for you.

expatinscotland · 02/03/2005 09:32

I'm not even deluding myself that I'm pregnant. OPKs didn't detect any O so can't be. But yeah, I'm all topped up on e/thing I need for AF and I'm just thinking, 'Bring it on, you witch! I'll get the best of you one day!'

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:32

Pop been with my partner 7 years and we are still in our honey moon stage. Lost it for a bit once after the kids but def back on form now.

I pigged out on chocolate yesterday but apart from that no other af signs yet!

expatinscotland · 02/03/2005 09:36

Things I hate most about the week before AF: sore boobs, bloating and NAUSEA! ARRGGGGHHH!

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:40

cp3 - Oh that's so sweet! I hope our honeymoon lasts that long. My Dh is a sweetie so should be okay.

Okay don't know why I'm telling you all this but I thought it was really funny and there's no one here to share it with as Dh has gone to work and I have no friends!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, last night I dreamt about loads of wierd things but part of it was that I was brushing my teeth. I kept re-brushing them because the toothpaste wouldn't come out of my mouth and I kept trying to apit it in the sink. When I woke up I found I was in a pile of drool!! I must have actually been spitting in my sleep!! How pleasant!!

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:41

Starting to think I shouldn't have told you that!!

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:51

Attractive Pop. Are you sure your still in honeymoon stage

Have a good day everyone, take care.

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:53

Thankfully Dh went to work at 5.30am so didn't have to witness me looking so fabulous when I woke up!!! Anyway, he loves him no matter what........right?!!

Laylasmum · 02/03/2005 10:09

Cwmtydu · 02/03/2005 10:40

Hallo everyone I'm wondering if I can join this thread please? I'm now, after fantastic mumsnet encouragement, actively TTC although this is only the first month of trying really (had a brief go last month but I think it was after ov). Day 12 today so really going to go for it with the bd. I'm so excited about the whole thing but very apprehensive, and I've got nobody in real life to talk to about this at all, none of my friends seem to be at the same broody stage and I'm quite a private person and don't really want to broadcast it at work.

My DH bought some boxer shorts the other day, without being asked. I think that's the most wonderful thing he's ever done!

I'm so addicted to mumsnet! will take me a bit of time to get used to this way of talking and I'm a bit worried about seeming selfish and not acknowledging people. But hallo everyone anyway, I'll try!
