Hi....cycle 2 just started so back to the begining....just wandered if anyone esle was back at the start of their cycle who wants to join me?

OP posts:
Heebychick · 10/09/2008 13:44

ps with my DD i had cramps and some small spots of blood when i was about 6 weeks and panicked and then when i had a scan they told me i was actually earlier than i thought and the bleeding was implantation.

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 13:53

Ooh does sound a little more positive. My period is normally one that sneaks up on you and slaps you in the face so i know this isn't normal for me. I usually have a little brown discharge first but then i have full blown AF within a few hours?!

Um not sure if i should be happy or not. If it is implantation then it may not be worth me testing friday (may not be able to resist though). will wait and see, AF could still show her ugly head before then!

your symptoms sound promising though heeby, will keep my fingers crossed for you. so far im still on the band wagon for the friday morning test, woo hoo

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 13:57

Actually, you're right, i usually get a red discharge (well pinky) not brown. Ooh exciting, although a little scared to get my hopes up!

Jools1 · 10/09/2008 14:01

Commiserations to Funtime

Heeby and Wanabemum - sounding promising and I am sending good vibes for Friday

My AF always starts with a smudge of brown, then a day of nothing, followed by increasing amounts of the brown stuff for a day before a 2 day deluge (sorry if TMI )

Nothing to report here today yet - bloating stomach and growing boobs are fairly normal for me post ov. Getting hot flushes though, which could be anything or nothing ...

Welcome Queenie

Nelix - if you can hold out till next Friday, come test with me

Heebychick · 10/09/2008 14:03

i know what you mean, i'm in a bit of limbo as i've had all this before and it's meant nothing but then i've had all this before and it's meant something!

i would suggest waiting till tomorrow night and see what has happened, maybe do a cheapie test on friday? like you say if impl then it might be too early for a friday test.

nelix2000 · 10/09/2008 14:05

so sorry funtime!......we are all on board for next month tho!!!

wannabe some spottin in pregnancy is normal from what I have read. I am like you i normally have AF that just comes along!...last month tho I had 2 days of light spotting, then one medium day then it was finished! Needless to say I was optimistic, but another PG test gave me a BFN BUT thats not to say thats what you are getting!....infact most pregnant women I have known have had some spotting!

Did anyone sign up for the clearblue digital test?? I did, received it and used it last month...i was cheeky and did it again with a different name it arrived this morning, saving me another £10! i am so cheap!!!! I feel bad now, but they are giving them away free and is it my fault they never checked the address!?!

OP posts:
Heebychick · 10/09/2008 14:34

Tut tut but brilliant nelix !! wish i'd thought of that. I signed up too and got one a while back, i will use it on Friday (if no Af by then)

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 14:38

Thanks Nelix, and very impressed at your shrewdness with the PG test. I have one too and will use it next week if still unsure what's going on. I'll take heeby's advice and buy a cheapie for this week i think.

Heebychick · 10/09/2008 14:42

Hurrah! be nice to have you on the test-a-thon wanabe

off to the loo to knicker check!

queenie1 · 10/09/2008 15:50

wannabe - I think your spotting sounds promising too, particularly if your AF usually starts with a big red gush.

Heeby - did laugh about your DH! Hope the knicker check was clear?

Not sure if I'm having symptoms. I have had some cramping (a bit like AF so could well be the witch on her way), I've also had a stitch like feeling on one side (?), I felt a bit hotter yesterday, but no sore boobs and no feeling sick or anything like that.

So hoping for that BFP...See many of you Friday morning then? Will have tests to the ready!

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 16:01

Sorry ladies im out this month too the witch arrived this afternoon with a vengence

Looks like it's me and funtime next month then! I'll share your martini!

Will be anxiously waiting on the thread on Friday and keeping everything crossed for the rest of you though. If you are successful I shall also be raising a rather large glass of wine to you all on Friday night too!
Don't think wine at 7am is a good idea really, i'll not scare you too much heeby

nelix2000 · 10/09/2008 16:40

oh wannabe I am sorry!.....we will start a new thread for next month tho! x at least you get to have a drink now! I have another bloody week to wait!!!!

OP posts:
Mylittlebubble · 10/09/2008 16:53

Sorry to hear that Wannabe have a really good drink this weekend and enjoy it never know next month might be the month

Heeby 7am
Bubble 7am
Makingafamily time?

Just the three of us now hope it's a BFP for at least one of us x

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 18:02

Trying to keep as positive as i can. Will be checking in on Friday to see results and how you're doing nelix. I'm quite positive about you though because you seemed to have the timing down to a T

I plan on having several glasses of wine this weekend and just enjoying myself. Try and chill. All this baby making is so stressful, never realised or imagined that it would be!

keep going ladies, I have faith!! In the words of Heeby "it's not over until the AF lady sings"!!

Where has Sparky disapeared to?

funtimewincies · 10/09/2008 19:57

(Pours Wannabe a large glass and passes her a comfy cushion on which to wait it out )

However, chin, chin .

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 21:21

Thanks funtime

Have to say not sure how many times i can keep doing this to myself feeling really blue and miserable today (surely something to do with hormones, but doesn't help)

Jools1 · 10/09/2008 21:27

Time to break out the emergency hormone busting chocolate I think

What do you fancy Wanabe I have Terrys Choc Orange or a huuuuugggge slab of Green & Blacks ....

Heebychick · 10/09/2008 21:45

Can i have a slice or Terry's choc orange????

Sending more hugs to you both funtime & wannabe ((((((())))))) lot of love ladies, see you on the next thread! stay with us though, we are a team now!

I'm still holding out there, although not gonna get excited as no idea what my cycle is going to do each month now!

My Dr surgery called today and asked if i was free for my Dr to call tomorrow, she wants to talk through my scan results. The receptionist didn't think there was anything on the results so i'm guessing it's to see how i am etc. Anyhow will let you know.

I have tummy ache tonight, i really think i might be out you know ladies, i am so worried i might kinx it i can't even tell my dh that 'you know who' hasn't arrived! ... so in true keeping faith spirit here's our list

Heeby 7am

Ilovebeingamummy · 10/09/2008 22:02

Hi all

Am feeling rather peculiar but think its all wishful thinking.... can I join the test-a-thon?? lots of luck to all

WanabeMum · 10/09/2008 22:04

Oooh Jools i'd love a piece of Green&Blacks please! mmmmmmmmmmmmm feel better already!

Thanks you guys, you're all a fab source of support! I'm definately staying with you just make sure you let me know what the new thread will be called!

Heeby don't give up yet! and keep us posted on what your Doc says.

Night ladies xxx

Jools1 · 11/09/2008 07:46

Glad you enjoyed the choc

Got quite excited last night - a little bit of pinky red spotting [hmmm]

Heebychick · 11/09/2008 09:14

jools that could be good news then? so will you test tomorrow or wait a while?

How is everyone else this morning?

ilovebeingamummy welcome back, sounds like you had a lovely time in Spain! will you join us tomorrow or test with nelix and jools in your own test-a-thon?

How very exciting!!! I can't wait till tomorrow! i have no AF signs and am now officially overdue! (that is of course if my cycle is following the same pattern from the last 3 months?? do you think it would be?)

I had a bit of indigestion yesterday, not had that for ages! and i have achey hips but then my DH reminded me i had been on a hard ish bike ride on tuesday eve!

SparkyMalarky · 11/09/2008 09:15

Hello ladies Sorry have been quiet, but have been checking in to check up on you all

So...Funtime and Wanabe - am so sorry AF got you. Still - enjoy the martini and eat some horrible runny cheese whilst you can!

heeby, Bubble and Makingafamily - am so super excited for tomorrow's test!! I'll be logging in bright and early for the results!

Heeby - keep us posted on the docs report too won't you?

Nelix, Jools and everyone else? How you feeling? All feeling v positive? Will there be another testing day soon?!! (Nelix - am loving the re-registering for the test, I should have done that....I've now done about (I can hardly bring myself to say it....) 7 )

As for me, am feeling fine. Not really sicky at all, starting to get tired (DH has to bring me a hot drink and pack me off to bed by 10 which is v early for me!) but still feeling crampy which as those of you who've hads mcs might appreciate, is causing me lots of worry....but so far so good. Am obsessed with knicker checking!! Booked a docs appt for next week, and am trying to work out whether I should book an early scan (am guessing it will be private) - last time, it added a whole week of misery to my mc (inconclusive results) and won't stop me worrying even if it's fine, but...might help reassure me a bit and if things aren't ok, better to know earlier than later.....Oh I don't know what to do...

Sorry - this maybe isn't the best place for that whinge...

SparkyMalarky · 11/09/2008 09:16

OMG Heeby just read your post - how exciting - you're actually late!!! You have so much self control to wait until tomorrow

Hope we can set up a new thread in pregnancy tomorrow.....

Heebychick · 11/09/2008 09:24

sparky lovely to hear from you, really pleased all is well! it's just my opinion but i would say go for the scan, i think if(eek!) i am PG soon i will pay for an early scan, like you say after a MC you want to know and if it's bad news then obviously it would of happened anyway, scan or no scan, and best to know sooner than wait the 12 weeks i would think! But of course it will be good news and you will be fine!!

If it helps i remember having cramps until about 10 weeks with DD and then different sort of tummy pains right up until full term, all strange but totally fine.

PS thank you all for your support, i just wanted to let you know this thread and gotten me through a strange few weeks and even if the outcome tomorrow isn't good, i will still feel supported and protected by a lovely group of ladies. Ok soppy message over now, am off to sob into my coffee!
