Its doing my nut! Have been using fertility friend and from dates I have given it etc... it say that I am due for my period next Sunday (27th). About right from my calculations too, lol!

Am so wanting it to not come this month and have a BFP already! Fingers crossed. Anyone else due to tst around this time too. I am determined not to buy any early detection tsts and just to wait (yeah right!). Must be strong!

Thanks both of you. I think May sounds excellent

redflipflops · 25/07/2008 10:35

AF arrived early today not that surprised after yesterdays BFN - feeling a bit down....

Still I agree May would be an excellent month

Goodluck to everyone testing at the weekend

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 25/07/2008 12:12

redflipflops, sorry to hear that AF arrived. We will all be here for you next month too.

BIG CONGRATS to Jumbs for her BFP - yay!

So, ladies, I'm out for this month - AF arrived this morning bang on cue. Actually feel OK about it (I just knew this wasn't our month) so looking forward to lots more BD-ing this coming cycle

Lots of luck to everyone still waiting to test. I'll check back in and will hopefully see lots and lots of BFPs!

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 25/07/2008 19:04

Evening all,

Caitni, sorry to hear about AF, hope you enjoy the next months BD-ing. Tee Hee!

I am still waiting. Hubby keeps telling me I am but he has no reason to say so. Unless he has noticed need for a wee too.

I have had terrible backache over the past couple of days too.

OP posts:
twoplease · 25/07/2008 19:31

I've had bad backache too - that's how i know AF must be on way.

sorry Caitni - it's a rubbish feeling isn't it?!

just a quick question - when you are on the 2ww, do you all adhere to pregnancy food and drink rules e.g. reduced caffiene, no alcohol, soft cheeses thing or do you just carry on as normal? I have been trying not to get too caught up in the TTC thing but find myself refusing coffee etc when I'm probably not even pregnant!!

any thoughts/advice?

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 25/07/2008 19:46

twoplease, I know others have said they get backache around the time of AF but I don't usually. Hmmmm, we'll wait and see.

I dont usually stick the rules when waiting to see if pg. Once I know it all changes but you will be forever stopping and starting if you do it on the 2ww aswell.

I'm out this month as well. I wasn't going to test till Monday but AF arrived today. Never mind, have another go next month...

I more or less stick to pregnancy rules about meat as that can affect what happens later, I also don't drink much (so wine tonight yippee!!) but do go for caffeine and don't worry about cheese etc.

Waiting2Exhale · 26/07/2008 21:58

Hi Girls,

I'm out also....temps took a serious noise dive this morning and began spotting, which I never do, but for some reason have on this occassion.

Wishing the rest of you all the best of luck. Looking forward to joining the next count down

twoplease · 27/07/2008 18:37

Hello all, sorry to hear your news WTE, good luck for next month.

so, HNYF, today was d-day for you - any news?

I am still waiting for AF - am on CD 27 whichi is late for me - did another test yesterday though and that was neg so chances are I'm just a few days late - can't help but hope the tests are wrong though however unlikely that is!!!

JLo2 · 27/07/2008 19:34

Hi all
Been away for weekend, made me feel better all round (a few glasses of wine helped ).
Still no sign of AF (now on Day 30), although often 30 day cycles so it may be round the corner. I will probably retest Tues if nothing happens.
Any news HPNY? We're all keeping our fingers and toes crossed for you

JLo2 · 27/07/2008 19:40

It looks like lots of us will still be here next month, so we'll have to think of a title for a new thread so we all know what we're looking for to find each other.
How about 'May is an excellent month to have a baby'
Any other suggestions?

twoplease · 27/07/2008 21:57

I like the sound of that JLo2 - will put thinking cap on for any other ideas! Good luck for the next couple of days.

Just read my last post - apologies to Waiting2Exhale and HappyNewYearFeet06 as I managed to abbreviate your names completely wrongly - must have been DD hanging around asking to play Thomas games that distracted me!

yellowflowers · 27/07/2008 22:57

'May is an excellent month to have a baby' is a great idea - please start it. Would love to have people for the whole month, esp for ideas to persuade dh to bd every other day! There's only so many times you can give a sexy massage or say you're particularly horny, and my dh hates the pressure of knowing it's to make a baby.

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 28/07/2008 09:18

Hi Guys,

Love the title of the new thread. I was due AF yesterday and nothing has arrived as yet. My friend is coming over tomorrow with a test so will now tomorrow if I am or not.

If not ten I would love to join you new thread, great idea JLo2.

Can't wait to join

Good luck Happy for 2morrow...sounds really hopefull...am rooting for you ....

Waiting2Exhale · 28/07/2008 16:11

Oh also, TP, sorry AF got to you as well...looking forward to seeing you on the new thread.

beanieb · 28/07/2008 16:26

Am due to test on Thursday 31st, or at least that will be when I am late. Having said that i was a week late last month so who knows what could happen. Part of me wants to test now, part of me realises I could not get my period for over another week and so there would no point testing then either!

JLo2 · 29/07/2008 09:04

Still no AF and still BFN
Feeling fine about it now, just want AF to arrive so I can start thinking about next month.
All my fingers crossed for you today HNYF

yellowflowers · 30/07/2008 09:49

I hope no one minds - I started the new thread. Was desperate to get chatting...
