Its doing my nut! Have been using fertility friend and from dates I have given it etc... it say that I am due for my period next Sunday (27th). About right from my calculations too, lol!

Am so wanting it to not come this month and have a BFP already! Fingers crossed. Anyone else due to tst around this time too. I am determined not to buy any early detection tsts and just to wait (yeah right!). Must be strong!

ohh, can I join? I'm due sometime this week but not too sure but probably Thurs or Fri. Thinking about testing Thurs a.m as desperate to know one minute and the next thinking I should wait until weekend. Spending too much time reading messages on net when should be working! Symptom spotting like mad. Arggh, I'd forgotten the hell of 2ww.

Anyway, off to bed now. Night all!

Jumbs

Hi all,

Welcome Jumbs. What CD/DPO are you on?

Yellowflower, sorry to hear AF has arrived. But on a positive note, at least you can start having fun trying again in the new cycle.

Me, still symptom spotting...nothing new really, if anything the pulling type pain has subsided. Don't think this is my month and am already thinking about planning a lovely break away with hubby in August without DS to give us nothing else to concentrate but baby number 2

baby dust to all in the running...nite nite for now ....

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 23/07/2008 07:42

Morning everyone. Hi to jumbs, welcome. Hope everyone is ok today.

Good morning and welcome to Jumbs.
I'm beginning to feel like this is an episode of Big Brother
"Day 26 and JLo2 is still imagining symptoms"
Maybe I should start watching it to keep my mind occupied on something else....
Then again, my 3 DS's are now on school holidays so will keep me busy

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 23/07/2008 14:31

Yep mine have just broken up for the summer so 3 dc's to keep me busy too.

There were tears at my ds's school as they are all leaving to start seniors in September.

Lol at Big Brother!!

Good morning everybody,

How is everything going? Has anyone given in and tested yet?

My hubby had told one of his friends that we were ttc, I hadn't told anyone. So, we were down the pub the other night and this friend blurts out in front of my best mate that he knows. She wasn't upset at not knowing but I just didn't want to tell anyone and then just tell them when it happens. I was surprised dh had told anyone!

I am still holding off testing until after the weekend, hopefully!!

Hope everyone is ok.

Hi All,

Sorry to say that I gave in....couldn't help myself....I talked the talk but just couldn't walk the walk.

Anyway to my dismay...BFN.

Oh well...kind of puts me out of the running a bit....can't see this changing in the next few days.

Will now wait to sunday if AF doesn't arrive before.....booo hooo....

Waiting2Exhale · 24/07/2008 10:47

Oh and morning Happy...we havn't told anyway else yet either. Although everyone keeps asking when are we gonna have another. I think its best this way as then you don't have to deal with questions regarding why it hasn't happened yet which would really annoy me.

JLo2 · 24/07/2008 11:19

Good morning everyone (well nearly lunchtime, but we're on go slow today. DS's are still in their PJs)

Bad news W2E, but it's not over yet, so don't give up

I very nearly tested this morning but was distracted at the last minute by one of my DS's thankfully. I'm still hoping to hang out until Monday, but we're going to stay at my Mum's on Saturday so I might give in on Sat morning just so that I know what to pack. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

We haven't told anyone, although I made a slightly cryptic comment to my best friend yesterday and she immediately guessed! I think I'm mad TTC #4 so what is everyone else going to think

twoplease · 24/07/2008 11:43

Hi, can i join in too?

We are trying for our second - have a DD who is 4 in December and would really like another before she goes off to school next year.
I'm afraid however that I have give in and tested this morning. BFN although not offically due til Sat - Not really any idea how many dpo i am as we are taking a relaxed approach (not bloody working though!)

Good luck all as the weekend and testing times approach!

Jumbs · 24/07/2008 12:02

Hi all,

Busy day yesterday and so didn't make it on here.

Sorry to all who've tested and got BFN's. Its not over until the hag arrives so I will wave a lucky wand around for you all .

I feel a bit guilty to say I gave in and bought a first response early test yesterday (bogof in boots if you dare!). I meant to test today but once you've got them its impossible not to test. Anyway, BFP so really happy. To be honest it wasn't a surprise, this is my second and I recognised the tummy pains and that they are not like my AF pains.

Hoping for everyone else to get good news and join!

Jumbs

Jumbs · 24/07/2008 12:03

Meant to say "join me in being pg". drat, works gets in the way doesn't it!

JLo2 · 24/07/2008 12:31

Welcome twoplease, as Jumbs says don't give up yet.

Many congrats Jumbs, hopefully you'll be the first of many to get BFP

I'm now going round the house repeating "I will not test, I willl not test" to myself every minute or so. DS's think I've finally lost it, but then what's new

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 24/07/2008 13:04

Congrats to Jumbs, our first BFP.

Sorry to hear of BFN's for others but don;t give up until AF happens or doesn't. I think I am only not testing as I don;t have any spare cash to go and get one!

Due on Sunday so will wait and see, not long now.

Fingers crossed for everyone still. xx

JLo2, I think I don't want to tell people as I don't want that response! My best mate was excited for me but then she has 4 anyway.

Welcome to twoplease.

JLo2 · 24/07/2008 13:17

That's half the problem, I have a test sitting in my drawer (one of a two pack from a couple of months ago). It is very very tempting to use it, but I think what is stopping me is how disappointed I'll be at a BFN.

HNYF06 When you do get pg, how long will you leave it until you tell people? I have the added issue of having 3 DS's and I know people will think I'm trying for a girl and I'm really not (as if I could choose even if I wanted to]. I think I'll leave telling them until I can't hide it. Then again, I'll probably be so excited I won't be able to

thelittlestbadger · 24/07/2008 13:22

Hi, can I join in? We're TTC #2 and I'm due to test on Monday and really can't before then but am driving myself a bit mad with symptom spotting - " when did I last need to go to the loo, I think it wasn't long ago so probably pg" or "oh no, haven't needed the loo for hours definitely not pg". Somebody please shake me!

JLo2 · 24/07/2008 13:29

Welcome the littlestbadger

I completely understand where you're coming from. I even invented a new symptom this morning - I had an itchy scalp and decided that must be a symptom
More likely dandruff or nits!!!

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 24/07/2008 13:53

Hi thelittlestbadger, welcome to our little group. I am due AF on Sunday and am so hoping it doesn;t arrive. Am too overly symptom spotting and am sure I am just imagining them but will soon find out.

JLo2, I will probably tell my best mate quite quickly and if I can help it I won't tell anyone else for as long as possible but depends how long I can go without telling peeps for! With my 3rd I was so severely sick from morning through to night from the outset that I had to tell people as I needed help with the other 2. It past after 3 mths but was horrendous. I would have kept quiet if I could!!!

Oh and a (((((((shake)))))) for thelittlestbadger too!!!

Hello everyone

I am also due AF on Sunday. Couldn't resist testing this morning and was BFN..... felt like crying

Still have a glimmer of hope but probably unlikely.

Good luck to all the others testing at the weekend

twoplease · 24/07/2008 15:51

thanks for all the welcomes and congrats to jumbo
all this symptom spotting is new to me as I was lucky enough to get pregnant on my 3rd month TTC with DD but am like you JLo2, i keep inventing symptoms or think that every little thing must mean i'm pregnant.

Anyway, won't give up til AF shows!

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 24/07/2008 18:47

Hi redflipflops,

Sorry to hear about your BFN but don;t give up until AF appears, or not!

twoplease, I was quick to concieve with all of my last 3 so am hoping it will be the same again. Just so want it to happen quickly, all this symptom spotting isn't doing me any good!!

Waiting2Exhale · 25/07/2008 00:43

Congrats jumbs that is brill news!!! Lets hope we have more BFP to come.

Welcome TLB and RFF, not long to wait. Hang in there girls....

As for me, cramps have started and temp tonight was pretty low. I know it doesn't really count but am bordering on OCD with this TTC malarky. Really driving me mad....but you just have to laugh....

Husband sits in bed listening to the beeping sound of my temp and just looks up to the sky like...oh no not that again....

I'll say morning to you all now, as I generally don't get on MN until late....if any of you are thinking of testing in the morning...best of luck.... x

JLo2 · 25/07/2008 08:57

Good morning all
Sadly a BFN this morning so feeling pretty fed up
I know it may not be over yet and if AF doesn't arrive by next week I shall test again, but not feeling very hopeful now

twoplease · 25/07/2008 09:20

Morning - sorry about the BFN JLo2 - still time for it to be wrong though?
I definately feel that AF on way so starting to think about next month now - convincing myself that a may 09 baby would be much better than an april 09 baby!!

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 25/07/2008 09:23

Morning everyone. Sorry to hear about BFN JLo2.

twoplease, May is an excellent month.

My AF due on Sunday but not really feeling anything at the mo.
