My period is being really weird. In the past it's been So heavy that I have had to change towels several times a day and have flooded tampons. Also used to last sometimes up to 8 days.

Last two months have been shorter and lighter. This month I had very light bleeding on day one (No spotting before that) then what I would class as medium days (2) then yesterday back to light and today barely anything!

I've been taking Agnus Castus in the first part of my cycle for about 4 months and have just started taking the Zita West vitamins (since about mid-cycle last month) so wonder if they may have effected it?

Anyone else had this?

Can't help you Beanie, as haven't done Zita West vits. If it reassures you my cycles have varied lots and periods too, unsure of why....

beanie - I've had the same, without taking any supplements, apart from the usual folic acid, etc. Used to have heavy lengthy AF but in the past few months they had gotten shorter and lighter. I think that once your body knows you're TTC strange things start happening. Let's hope that it's just your womb making itself a bit more cosy for that little sticky bean.

Lets hope so Maybe it really has taken this long for the mini-pill finally come out of my system a whole year late!

Also TMI alert but I have had really dark sticky 'poo' today, and to be honest I can't remember the last time I properly 'went'.

beanie, mine varies loads too - this month was way heavier than normal, started properly rather than trickling in over a few days, and more "proper" bleeding than before as well. I had similar thoughts ref the mini-pill - wonder if it takes longer to clear than the standard one or summat?

A question.... how much should your suspected ovulation day vary?

Fertlity friend usually indicates ov around day 15 and temp change too, but this month day 10 and temp change. Does this sound likely???

Hi Blackrock! Mine hardly ever varies but a couple of months ago my monitor and an ovulation test indicated that I ovulated a whole 5 days earlier than usual. Not sure why, and my cycle length stayed pretty much the same. I'm not temping though!

Have been brave and graduated myself and updated stats. Hope all correct - just added on 2 days from last update on wed. Went to see midwife this am and even have date for 12 week scan. Also gett ing abit of nausea now. Hoping that bean will stick and though I'll miss you girls I hope I won't be back here for a long while.

Though was tempted to stick around for the "expulsions" talk. Hope that you will all be graduating soon, especially you lovely ladies who, like me have been on this thread for a while. You've been so supportive to me. Thank you.

Beanie My AFs were very different each month, especially if I had spotting a few days before I was due on. I hope this month passing quickly for you with great news at the end.
Blackrock Are you using OPKs too? I'd keep BDing as FF can sometimes move ovulation around and I'd hate you to miss the egg. How are you finding temping? Well done on the exercising BTW.

Hi all
still here............ cracked and took a test this am behind DH 's back.......though i know AF not due till thurs but have been feeling all the symptoms achy boobs nausea etc which i had before my last positive.......which turned into a mc . I'm surrounded by pregnant people and think i must be going mad because they feel so real but obviously are not!
Beanie apologies if TMI but..........I've read somewhere that higher Progesterone levels assosiated with the luteal phase can slow the passage of poo through intestine which can make it sticky esp toward the end!

Zen - sorry to hear you're back at the top. Hope we both get lucky this month. I hope we all get lucky.

Am all of a dither because my boyfriend proposed to me last night with a ring and everything! I said yes of course. Am overwhelmed by it all and a bit scared about all the attention I am getting. Haven't turned into Bride-Zilla overnight so that's good.

Not sure when AF is due, sometime today onwards I think. I have had two 28day cycles and then a 34day cycle, so will wait out the week and test on the weekend if nothing has happened.
