Hi, I thought I’d start a separate thread for anyone who is TTC after a recent early loss, so we can support each other through what can be a really difficult time. 💕

I’m 39 and TTC for my first. I conceived after around four cycles, but sadly had a missed miscarriage mid-July at around 9 weeks, (development had stopped at 6).

I stopped bleeding last Sunday and have started noticing some cervical mucus returning over the past few days, so I’m hoping my body is beginning to get back into its normal rhythm.

I’m still testing positive on pregnancy tests, so can’t use LH strips to track ovulation yet, so for now, my plan is to get back to some exercise, eating well and have sex every 2-3 days. I’m feeling positive and hopeful but also trying to take my mind off the waiting!

If anyone else is going through something similar and would like to share the journey and support each other x

Anyone else symptom spotting? Mine are really sore boobs and insomnia!

What DPO are you now @Posypear?

@Pottingsheddays did you test again?

I’m CD 9, still have a very light bleed (only towards the evening), which is unusual for me as AF is normally 3-4 days long. Still testing low on CB, last cycle I got high on CD11. I feel like time is dragging!

@FlyingHighFlyingLow how are you doing?

@Posypear I think 8 or 9 as weirdly natural cycle moved the day it thought I ovulated. I almost can't bare to test this cycle and tempted to wait for AF but I guess I should incase I do have another chemical and then I can be referred. I think I've only got a digital one in the house anyway.
@Springcloud26 sorry it's dragging. Hopefully you'll be testing high soon and this is your month!

I tested again this morning and got a BFP. Feeling a mix of hopeful and anxious, think the emotional rollercoaster will continue for a long time. Trying not to get my hopes up as it’s still very early days.

Really hope this is a lucky month for lots of us.

@Posypear when are you planning to test? You have more self-control than I do!

@Springcloud26 AF went on for longer for me this month too - it’s frustrating waiting around though. Fingers crossed you start to see a rise soon

Just seen your message @Posypear - so hard to know whether to test early or not. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

@Pottingsheddays tentative congratulations. Completely understand that mixed feelings. Wishing you all the luck in the world!

I'm usually the worst for early testing but I'm feeling so emotional from the last couple of months of losses I'm not sure I can handle it! However I always say that and end up testing at 4.30am in a panic!

@FlyingHighFlyingLow how are you doing?

Thank you for thinking of me.

On the same day I saw my HCG test intensity drop like a stone on my chemical a couple of months ago, this time I got a dye stealer 🥹

5+5 now. I guess my main symptom until earlier this week was having zero symptoms! Now I'm mainly super tired and quite particular with food choices. And I need to eat a lot or I feel sick 😂.

Unfortunately I've had a bit of pink discharge over the past 3 days, but I did do a clear blue digital I had left over a couple days ago on like a 1 hour hold in middle of the day and got a 3 weeks plus. I'm hoping it's nothing but will be ringing GP tomorrow. Sorry for TMI but happened quite a bit when I was pregnant with my first and it was caused by asymptomatic thrush 😅 kept coming back all bloody pregnancy.

So all in all still anxious 😅 sending baby dust to all x

Thanks @Posypear. I’ve had cramping and backache this afternoon so not feeling as hopeful as I was 🙁but also trying not to spiral.

Keeping everything crossed for when you do decide to test!

Can’t believe you’re almost six weeks @FlyingHighFlyingLow! Really hope your GP is helpful tomorrow. I had some spotting with DC1 and it’s really stressful. Sounds like it might be the thrush back again - pregnancy after loss is so filled with anxiety though. Hope you have an uneventful rest of the pregnancy after this x
