I know it's so hard to know what to do for the best! I know it's easier said than done where money is concerned but I'm trying not to let ttc run too heavy in to the decision making career wise although it's definitely a factor. I have the opportunity to go back in to a previous role and that would come with 6 months maternity pay but I also couldn't think of anything worse than doing that haha.

I'm technically self employed atm and that comes with stat mat pay but its £800 and something a month for 9 months which just isn't that much when you have a mortgage and bills. I'm trying to save up as much as possible to deal with it but I also have other things I need to pay for (and want to pay off so I don't have to make extra payments on maternity leave) Still paying for post grad training and have a bit left to pay on my car. A lottery win wouldn't go amiss right now haha.

Hopefully it happens soon for you so you can get your mat pay! Are you ttc for your first as well?

5dpo for me - Just think this time next week you can probably test!

My lh tests have a line on them! A massive 0.04 ratio but a good sign things are starting to recover and fingers crossed they keep going up.

God I hate this tww! My surge on strips was so quick and worried that's a bad sign as never done strips before!

10 dpo today. Test is so negative that I can’t even convince myself there’s a shadow. I know I’m not out till I’m out but it doesn’t feel hopeful. I keep thinking I’ve got symptoms but really if there were enough hormones to give me symptoms there would be enough to see a shadow of a line on a test. Never mind. Will test again Monday and then I’m just waiting for af so we can start again. Already planning what I’ll be doing differently next month!

First cycle trying for baby number 2 here! I’m 35 and have one DD, and just as we could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, sleep again and generally regain some semblance of a life… I had the completely unhinged urge to say, shall we do it all again?! 😂

Last time round I went a bit Type A project manager energy on the whole thing (read: prenatals, ovulation sticks, BBT, special lube… the works 😂). This time I’m trying to go with the flow and just enjoy it a bit more. Trying being the operative word 👀

So here I am! Looking forward to getting to know you all and collectively overanalysing every twinge and symptom over the next few weeks 🤞🥰

@Pineapplechew you never know, 10dpo could still be too early. It's hard to think like that though, I ruled myself out around then but must have been playing mind games with myself because I was very disappointed when AF arrived!

Welcome @CasualOverthinker , that was my plan and I'm on cycle 3, just started clomid, have 3 types of ovulation strip, pre seed, supplements and vitamins coming out my eyeballs and have been trying to find my ovusense internal thermometer 😂

Its been awhile since i was pregnant last. My youngest is 10. When would you expect a test to start getting darker? Did a test yesterday which showed a very faint line again today was very faint. I'm exhausted and feeling sick most of the time. Also cramping. I remember cramping with my youngest, but that came and went. This time it seems to be always there.

Hcg typically doubles every 48hrs so don’t be worried if you get little to no progression daily, they will more than likely get darker every 48hrs

Just after some advice, do you guys think this is my true peak? Or am I still to peak? Should I still BD now? (This is a letrozole cycle hence the early high numbers). Thank you xx

This was mine, im not really sure on it all though as first month with these strips as was doing clear blue fertility before I went a bit mad and did it quite a few times, I read it has to be darker than the control line?

You could have missed the peak though as think it can happen pretty quickly!

I have so many symptoms, I’ve got no appetite, ive been sick this morning, and I’m really dizzy
I’ve also got acid reflux and insomnia, I haven’t had either since I was last pregnant, but I’m still testing negative with not even a hint of a vvvvvvvvf line. Af due tomorrow. Maybe I’m just ill.

I would go for it anyway in case you’ve missed the peak, plus it’s useful to have dtd a few days prior to ovulation anyway so either way probably best to be safe, if it’s an option

😔 hopefully it's just a case of having a late positive. With my youngest i didn't get a positive till I was a week late
