Moving from the June thread, baby dust to all!

Hi, I'd like to join. This will be our 1st proper cycle ttc since our son died in the nicu February last year.

Currently cd 10 and I feel so much more anxious ttc this time round.

@TheUniqueMember Hi! Sorry, was AWOL for a bit. Just struggling with the whole TTC thing not happening. Having wanted a 22 month age gap and that not been possible i had then pictured a 2 year 9 month age gap. I wanted to be 7 months pregnant now. Definitely needed a break for a bit as it was getting too all-consuming! That last cycle, being 83 days really hurt me!

Back now, period over and on CD6! This better be a shorter cycle than the last! I really didn’t want a summer baby. Their babyhood/ toddlerhood feels so much shorter than a September born. I am a teacher so feel extra aware of this! Half feeling as if I should take a break from TTC and revaluate whether it is still the right decision. But then I think of missing a cycle and can’t imagine doing that either! Sorry for the really long moan!!

So glad to see you have ovulated at last! It took a while to get there but that peak looks great! Now for the longest TWW! When do you think you will test?

@NphysT So sorry to hear about your son. I can’t imagine how you must feel. I hope your TTC journey is a pain free as possible.

@MyPeppyLimeBear I can’t see anything sorry. But if you are only 3 dpo I wouldn’t expect to see anything for at least another week! Fingers crossed for you!

Do you think the Letrozole has helped? Did you get a peak of LH tests? Or did they do scans to monitor? How have the side effects been?

Thanks so much for looking. There’s a line there in person but I think it’s an evap. I can’t be completely confident what cycle day I’m even on because sadly my periods have been absolutely all over the place. Last Wednesday, my gynae scanned me and said I had a very large follicle due to ovulate soon, 2 days later I got a ‘peak’ but was only 0.82 on Premom. Since then, they’ve all been around the 0.42 mark. Premom have put that 0.82 as my ovulation date but really I have no idea. I don’t think I missed another peak as I test 2/3 times a day.

this is my 3rd Letrozole cycle, no success so far. This was also the only scan I’ve had as my nhs clinic only offer ‘unmonitored’ cycles. I am now on the waiting list for ivf! Good luck to you too xx

Oh, that sounds hard. Hopefully you did ovulate on Saturday, given that would line up with your tests and the scan. Interesting about the unmonitored cycle! When I was researching I got the impression they always monitored, clearly not the case!

I got 2 false peaks before my true peak last cycle. But I still had fertile-like mucus between the peaks so I did wonder if it hadn’t worked. First false peak was 0.7, second was 0.93. After the proper peak, the CM dried up. I would keep Lh testing incase it rises again!

But have also seen people ovulate with a peak of under 1 so you well might have ovulated. Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

My lh strips were looking darker but have gone back to v faint again 😩 not knowing how long this cycle could potentially be is so stressful.

Got woken up at 4am with the most painful cramps. Thought my period was arriving it was that bad

@inkgirlhow are you feeling now? I woke up with lower back pain and a weird pre period heavy feeling which is still going now

I'm feeling better, pain has gone thankfully. Sorry to hear that hope the pain stops soon for you

Hey, I thought that might've been the case. Honestly, I understand with the whole age gap - I wanted a smaller gap but things happen! Taking breaks when it gets too overwhelming is a good decision; look after your well-being too, YOU are important.

I really hope this cycle works for you so you don't have a summer baby - I would agree with that as well🤣 totally understandable to have mixed emotions through ttc, you're so not alone!! And hey this thread is here to moan!!🤣 so don't apologise at all.

Me too, I thought I would be unlucky and have to wait a few months to ovulate so thank you to my body😂 👏 I'm going to try and wait until 24th-26th (10-12dop). Trying to keep my myself busy so I don't do it too early.

Hi I’m new here, can anybody see this line or am I seeing things, it’s very light

Not sure if I'm seeing things or its wishful thinking but is there a second l8ne on the bottom test? Its very faint. Had cramping last early hours of this morning. Period estimated to come either today or next few days not 100% sure.

I can definitely see something but I can never tell what's an indent - fingers crossed for you when you retest this morning

Spent the TWW not focusing on this, we've been out and about so my brain has had a rest.
Unfortunately period is due in 3 days and I have all the period symptoms so I know I'm out.

Im due af in 2 days and im so unsure if shes coming or not as i usually dont get symptoms before af, im convinced im pregnant though im dpo10, impantation spotting at 7dpo and pulling sensations at 8 dpo and a bunch of symptoms that could be pms but iv never really had pms symptoms before i gotta wait till monday to order more tests if af doesnt show up

I really don’t want to cause any hurt / bring up bad memories but I remember you and your little boy. I was in the WhatsApp group and I really wanted to message on his birthday but didn’t want to cause any pain. I wish you all the best and really hope you get your rainbow

3dpo today! I ovulated CD17 and we’ve dtd CD13,14,16,17,18 so I want to feel hopeful but I’m not after 9 cycles!!

@DarkRock1995 when are you testing??

I’m going to try not to do pregnancy tests this month. I’m just going to fill my time and wait for AF. If no AF I’ll test then.

Im just sick of waking up, doing a test first thing, it being negative then having the disappointment run through the day.

Id rather just ignore and see what happens. I actually don’t have any tests left so I think the temptation won’t be there.

Thanks for reading the moan! Honestly, sometimes it feels like every evening I’m asking/ complaining / crying at my DH about why it hasn’t happened for us yet! Trying to be grateful for the two I have and enjoy the summer. The holiday always passes so fast so I’m hoping this cycle will speed by!
