YAY AUNTY!!!!!!!!!!

Thats great news.

I've only just been able to get on MN. Has anyone else had problems this morning?

Ses15 · 27/06/2008 08:47

Morning all!

Kay - yes, I've only got on as well and now I really need to go! How frustrating!

tinkisexcited · 27/06/2008 09:21

congrats aunty

morning off to tesco

GYo · 27/06/2008 09:32

Morning all

This thread is very quiet lately. Not complaining as I can actually keep up!

glaskham · 27/06/2008 09:47

congrats aunty....

I have an OPK dilema.... yesterday i got a positive but i was only CD10, never ever ovulated that early and not had any EWCM yet... could it be a false +???.... gonna keep GOFing and luckily we GOF'd on day 8,9 & morning & night day 10 for fun.... but with getting a + has made me wonder....???? advise???

kayzisexpecting · 27/06/2008 09:56

Keep GOFing Glask!! Thats my advice!!

Diege · 27/06/2008 09:58

Wow that's great news aunty . Many congratulations!!!! And you had a feeling too didn't you! Fingers crossed for an uneventful 9 months
Glaskham, I'd carry on gof-ing for a few days yet, just to be 'covered'; all looking very positive .
LB, re: weight gain if it's any consolation I also seem to have put on about 6 pounds in 2 weeks . Couldn't fasten up trousers this morning much to dd2's amusement and the scales confirmed my fears...so different from last pregnancies when I lost a stone and a half before 12 weeks.
Happy 7 weeks Sorky if you are lurking - hope you get some relief from the sickness soon .

kayzisexpecting · 27/06/2008 10:02

I have put on 2lbs in 16 weeks. Not bad!! Give it another few weeks and it will probably pile on.

glaskham · 27/06/2008 10:14

well my plan was to keep GOFing and keep OPKing till i see ewcm and beyond!! I'm not sure if its just dodgy tests.... but DH could clearly see the line aswell!! Wasn't my imagination going funny after wanting to see positives on anything i pee on!!

kookykid · 27/06/2008 10:26

Conratulations Aunty!!!! How exciting!

Glask - at least you've had a + OPK and feel like you've done plenty of GOFing - I am now on CD18 and haven't had one yet. Am feeling quite disheartened tbh. We have more or less GOFed every other day since AF finished, but not feeling very hopeful.

LB - I really chocked it on when pg with DD, esecially in the first trimester. Just couldn't get enough carbs! I had very few symptoms other than tiredness and the hunger and didn't really have morning sickness.

glaskham · 27/06/2008 10:29

i'm wondering if we GOF'ed too much thoguh, yesterday ebign when i got my positive and we had it twice.... surely the sperm wont be of its best quality.... it works out we GOF'd 3 times within 24hrs.... we plan to GOF tonight after a 24hr gap but i'm wondering if it will be too late if i got a real positive.... so now i dont even know if i'm in my 2ww or not!!!!!

Diege · 27/06/2008 10:57

Don't think you can goff too much tbh Glaskham - think the research on reduced sperm quality relates more to infreqeent goffs where the 'nasties' build up without release...I must admit that I felot tired just reading about your level of goff-ness
Kooky, opks don't wprk for everyone. I tested from day 8 to day 22 (29 day cycle) and never got a line/smile in the month I was pregnant with dd3. I think you have done as much as is humanely possible, so don't be disheartened .
Right, off to brave the PO queue !

kookykid · 27/06/2008 11:00

Sorry went AWOL for a while - was reading a spooky thread!

Ah, Glask, it's all such a conundrum! No wonder we're feeling all out of sorts... you think too much and I think not enough!!! DH and I are just going to keep doing every other night (neither of us feeling that great as have colds). Even though I'm not feeling hopeful about this cycle I know I won't be able to help symptom spotting like crazy in the 2ww. Aaaaaarrggghhhhhhh!

kookykid · 27/06/2008 11:02

Thanks Diege!
I got a + OPK result last month on CD17 so didn't start testing til a bit later this month so well have missed it. Anyway, what will be will be!

glaskham · 27/06/2008 11:04

ok Diege, thanks.... kinda put my mind at rest... i'm very lucky that when i normally OV i am very up for a GOF morning noon and night... shame DH works really!! but most times in the month its just every other night or something... well less about ym sex life!!

My baby rabbit is doing very well, he comes in twice a day for cuddles and a run around the living room, would take him out in the garden but the wind blew a couple of fence panels down and waiting till its nice to put them back... dont wanna loose him in the neighbours garden of nettles!! He's fab with the kids!! and just stunning to look at!!

Anyone got plans for the weekend? DH is working so not a lot going on here, but he's off tuesday & wednesday, and we're hoping to go to see 'wanted' at the pics on weds afternoon. I really wanted my sister to come and stay the night so we could go this evening but she said no

glaskham · 27/06/2008 11:10

Yeah kooky, your right there- i'm reading way into things already.... i think because i didn't concieve as a surrogate that really means this will be the 3rd month in a row that i'd not have concieved if we dont get a bfp this time.... and i know thats not long at all in comparison, but not being used to waiting for a bfp just sends a bit of worry over us... we're a bit more relaxed this month than last month, but are talking about things we could do to maximise our chances!!

glaskham · 27/06/2008 11:15

right off to put the washing away and put another load on (ds took his nappy off and sat on his bed so got to wash his sheets for the 3rd time this week!!!) [grrrrr emotion]

Will probs be around this afternoon... have a nice afternoon all of you!!
