Okay, I have been feeling a tiny bit sick now for three days. DH is convinced already that I'm pregnant, but seeing as it's so early (am on CD19, possibly OV'd CD 9) I daren't build my hopes up. It wouldn't be possible to feel sick that early would it? Am driving myself crazy symptom spotting

It is a little weird being on the 2ww I suppose after waiting for so long ttc 2weeks doesnt feel that long though! Trying not to obssess too much, I'm happy to make up a few symptoms (well my boobs do actually hurt) but I am also well aware that it could be completely PMT related so am not actually believing any of them are real!

Monkey, it probably isn't too early, some people get symptoms very early whilst others don't at all. Be a little cautious though, our bodies play tricks on us but fingers crossed it will all work out for you. We do have a list, its not that detailed as to where we are in our cycles, maybe we sould update is a little. Hmm, let me find it...

Well the best symptom I can come up with (also CD19 having ov'd on CD14) is that I feel a bit tired. Getting strange looks from people as I keep prodding my boobs to check for possible aches..

I've decided to go back to drs if I get a bfn this month (was about to have hsg at infertility clinic in hospital when I got my bfp) so I'm hoping that that will spur my body into action!

Cant believe how much good news there is on this thread. I've been away on holiday so been very quiet!

Question re ewcm and build up to the day of ovulation.

Does anyone find their EWCM builds slowly from a slightly yellow jelly (sorry gross) to very clear eggwhite (!) and is that time when its copious and its very clear EW the likely time for ovulation?

Im having EWCM now for first time for TTC, for first time. All very exciting.

Hi everyone - your story had me in tears Pop - how amazingly scarily wonderful!!! Hope you three are all ok!

Hi to everyone else - lost track of this thread for a while there, but am back now. Off to have a proper read!

My CM starts as lumpy, sticky and white-ish/creamy from about CD8. This carries on for a week or so, then I start getting very wet for several days, its clear but not stretchy and I feel very moist (which is also semi-fertile CM)before I get EWCM. I then tend to get EWCM for 2/3 days. My CM then becomes lumpy sticky and white again. Everyone is different but most people tend ot follow a similar pattern, although earlier in the cycle as me as I ov late.

You are supposed to ov on the last day you see EWCM in your cycle (or in some cases the day after) as the EWCM is designed to help sperm travel towards the egg so the sperm needs to be there ready and waiting for you to ovulate. Thats why in an ideal world you should GOF on the days up to and including ovulation. Obviously this doesn't work for everyone but it is a good general guide.

I have the most inconsistent CM in the world, so I don't think I'm a good gauge of these things, but mine tends to be creamy a few days after AF and then continues that way and gets a bit wetter. In my time charting, I haven't had much EWCM - except for the month we managed to conceive. that month it was copious on CD16 and according to my temps, I O'd on CD18. Had a good amount last night on CD17, but nothing like that one time!

Okay, guys, I have an OPK connundrum...this is my first month using them and I've run into a bit of a problem. How do I drink tons of water to encourage more EWCM and still manage 3-4 hour windows of not peeing!?

OOO good question. Sorry no idea don't use them. I am completely useless on temping and Opk's, so far I am just using CM and will continue that way for 6 months if I can. After that if there is no BFP then I will probably try anything but for now I am trying the relaxed approach.

Thanks for the info Playing. better get on with it tonight! I've no real proof that I ovulate but I do get the EWCM that does become quite copious. Fingers cross. Suddenly all the thought of planning it has put me off getting on with a GOF! Think I'd better leave temping to a later time if monitoring CM isnt enough alone.

I've also just realised how slim the window is for getting a bun in the oven each month...

ho hum...

With regard to EWCM I am drinking grapefruit juice, which seems to have made a big difference in terms of quantity this cycle. NJ and Sorky are usually the experts!

GYo - you could get some cheap OPKs from Ebay. They give a clearer indictaion of OV. I am using Clearblue ones that LardyBump sent me, but they're not cheap!!

Looking forward to ttc again. definitely have to wait for first period which I gather will be between 3 and 6 weeks from now! I was debating having a couple of months off without thinking about ttc but I just want dc1 so much that I don't think I'd stop thinking about it! Better not delay and get on with it when we can I think! I've got to go back to EPU next Monday for a scan and then was advised to do a hpt in about a fortnight (so I'll be looking for a BFN then!! How mad is that!!)

I'm really interested in all the CM monitoring too as I've never really taken much notice before. I'm going to start taking notice though to see what happens!
