How much does your DC still breastfeed @HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy ?? I'm now CD34 with no sign of AF and worried breastfeeding is suppressing ovulation (never done OPKs and bbt not really feasible with little one).

@LucyCL have your periods only just returned? It's so interesting how different it is for everyone as I had one quite quickly after we had our DCs. I went back onto the implant (though in hindsight wish I'd left my body to self regulate)

OMG! We got home last night and I thought I'd do a test this morning - BFP (2-3 weeks)! ✨

My DD still breastfeeds for her nap and to go to sleep at night so only twice a day… but she is a bad sleeper and so some nights it feels like she never stops! Probably has 3 feeds on average at night? Worried that might be too much - 5 feeds in total?

Yes, it returned after 9 months. I have been reducing the frequency of breastfeeding slowly so my body can slowly adjust to its pre pregnancy state. I decided to have a break from breastfeeding soon after I got my first period because I wanted to see how long the first cycle lasted. I just got AF this morning and it is clear that I had no idea what my body was doing. Breastfeeding does interfere with your cycle.

I just got my AF this morning, and I feel relieved. I didn’t test LH and measure BBT every day in the first cycle so I didn’t know where I was and if I ovulated. Also I had an emergency C section so the longer it takes to conceive, the better it is for my body to heal. I am also happy to know that the first cycle lasted for 31 days because the pre pregnancy cycles used to last between 31 and 34 days. I plan to use OvuSense to measure my BBT after AF. Overall, I am happy. So, today is CD1 for me. 😊

So after waiting for what felt like forever I finally got my LH peak this morning. @HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy like you I was getting EWCM for days but LH tests were 0.1-0.2… but it just jumped up to 1.1 this morning it’s my CD17. I think ovulation is likely late today / tomorrow given what I’ve read online. Is that right? I DTD CD14 and CD16 and plan for tonight too, am I well covered? I’m working nights tomorrow and husband at work all day so won’t be able to DTD tomorrow :-/

I had it at the end of last April. I was planning to wait for 1 year however I knew it would take a few cycles for my body to adjust back to normal after the first period returned. How long have you been trying if you don’t mind me asking ?

We've been trying since September, but had a MMC and D&C in November, then started again in January. But I'm having a hysteroscopy tomorrow, so probably won't be trying this cycle!

Can I ask if you don’t mind did you get the bfp before or after af due x

5 days after! I tested on the 11th Feb (likely indent/evap) then stark negative on 14th Feb (day of/day before expected AF). We were away Monday-Saturday so only has the chance this morning.

Wow that’s so interesting, I tested yesterday so 1 day after expected af and it was stark negative also 🫣 but I’ve not had a proper flow these past 3-4 days just spotting so im not sure if im meant to count it as a period haha

I do see something very light! Although at 15 dpo I think it should be more obvious, but you never know!

Glad you finally got your peak! Gives me some hope mine will also happen eventually. How many days did you get EWCM for in the end?

Yes, I think ovulation is likely to be tomorrow so dtd tonight gives you the best chance! Sounds like you’ve got it covered. Fingers crossed for you!

@Flataf I do a hint of a line on that last one! If those were day 8, 9 and 10 tests I would think you had a fair chance of it progressing! Do you think there is any chance you ovulated a week later than you thought?

I don’t really know what’s going on! CD17 and still no LH peak. I’m now wondering if I missed my surge as I only LH tested from CD12 but not even sure if I continued for CD13,14 as I thought I was way off in terms of it starting yet. This is my bbt chart! Do I just continue to LH test a few more days incase this prediction is right?!

no af currently 4th day late , bfn on Saturday haven’t retested, had some more browny red coloured cm yesterday. i’ve woken up this morning with my left side of my stomach feeling bruised (as if someone’s kicked/punched me all night!) and the pain worsens when coughing or moving :/
