Morning all (again!)!

Welcome DR! Beware - 2BG is right, this thread is v addictive!

My boss has not responded to my email yet. I'm hoping he'll just send a short email saying that he didn't realise I was on annual leave and we'll catch up when I'm back. We'll see..... (Still think he was completely out of order!)

No real answers on my other thread yet so I'm off dog walking now. Lovely day for it

glaskham · 17/06/2008 10:14

right i'm off for now to do something constructive with the next hour.... think my list is: clean bathroom, wash breakfast pots, hoover upstairs, clean upstairs windows and get a load of washing out!!!

will be back on later while ds is at nursery.

Diege · 17/06/2008 10:50

Morning! Welcome to the newbies - you will love it here!. As Nat says, I also can't remember how the whole wagon thing came about, though the on/off thing relates quite well to our various ttc stages!
Lovely piccy TINKs, and agree your dd is gorgeous
TBG, very of your dd potty training. My dd is 2.5 and I have been very slack (not even started). It's come to the stage where she will grab the Baby Annabel potty and wedge herself into that , not that she actually does anything!
Not a lot of time to post today as at work and quite busy, but have some 'symptoms' that I've not had before annd wondered if anyone else had any knowledge.
Had a very disturbed night's sleep due to pains and cramps in my lower legs. Sort of a tingling, crampy feeling that woke me up and stopped me getting back to sleep. It eased a little when I circled my ankles etc, but obviously can't do this all night! Is this something that happens in pregnancy? Never had it with dds.
Oh and Glaskham, tests were sent first thing today, so should be with you tomorrow if Royal 'Fail' does it's job properly!

Starshinetiger · 17/06/2008 11:24

Morning all - welcome newbies, hope some of the lucky wagon rubs off on you.
Diege - I've read lots about tingly pins and needles in legs in pregnancy, but can't remember any of it now - how helpful of me!! I think if you do a search on one of the pregnancy sites or maybe some of the health boards on MN, you'll find stuff. Hopefully it was a one off for you and it won't happen again. Not very helpful am I?
I'm so sad - I come on here every morning in the hope of a BFP for someone while I'm waiting to get through my cycle
Right - really should be working.

Playingthewaitinggame · 17/06/2008 11:29

Hi Deige, sorry no idea about your symptons.

Star - I know what you mean about BFPs. I've always enjoyed them but now I'm ttcing I really find it gives me hope. I've got at least a 2ww, possibly nearer 3 ahead of me so I could do with encouraging news to get me through.

Diege · 17/06/2008 11:30

Hi Star . Have had a good look through old threads and see it's very common. No real solution, but bananas, tonic water and a bag of ready salted crisps before bed are supposed to help!
Agree, roll on the next BFP!

glaskham · 17/06/2008 11:40

well thanks to you diege i will hopefully be testing tomorrow... postie is normally late so will collect and keep FMU and test as soon as post arrives... am very tempted to go to the chemists but DH said no.... we agreed not to spend anythign on tests until saturday at the earliest to give AF time to come... but as Diege is kindly posting me her lucky tests i wont be able to resist!!

Diege · 17/06/2008 11:44

Galskham, your dh will be blaming me!

glaskham · 17/06/2008 11:45

cant believe how little i've had for lunch and yet i feel full enough to burst... i had 2 slices of cheese on toast and a couple of chunks of pineapple and i am SOOOOOOOO full!! not even had anything to drink yet!!

Kids are still asking for more food and they've had a slice of C-on-T, couple of carrot sticks and philli few pineapple chunks and a yoghurt and asking for grapes now!!

glaskham · 17/06/2008 11:46

he'll be glad though if it brings a BFP as he's sick of me moaning about having no AF but no BFP yet!! he laughed for ages last ngiht after i'd been going on about my CM for 15mins!!!

sorkycake · 17/06/2008 11:48

Hey I've just realised...I started this new thread and happynappies ask me to rub her for luck, which I did, and she's up the duff

Ahhhh! I always knew I had special powers

OP posts:
glaskham · 17/06/2008 11:51

sorkycake · 17/06/2008 11:58

OP posts:
glaskham · 17/06/2008 12:00

oh dear sorky..... you've gone and pushed me over the edge... i'm gonna sneakily buy some tests i think and if its a BFP then dh wont be too upset i broke our agreement... if bfn he'll not find out of he'll be saying 'told you so'....

glaskham · 17/06/2008 12:02

right so i'm holding pee in as long as is humanly possible to poas this afternoon i think!!!

2beautifulgirls · 17/06/2008 12:09

can you rub me aswell sorky

lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 12:16

pfft, your rubbing did me no good last month, sorky () I'm on CD10 and usually don't ov until CD18 - could the time go any slower But then again, I look at the date and think Who stole June?!?!?

sorkycake · 17/06/2008 12:22

Did I rub you LBOT? Oh, and I agree about your O dates. I don't think ff gets it right with you from looking at your charts. I thought that last month. It didn't look right iykwim.

sorkycake · 17/06/2008 12:22

maybe I need a disclaimer

OP posts:
lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 12:27

Aw, I love ya anyway, sorky - it's not you, it's my crap LP!

You think I ov earlier than FF says? If that's the case, it might just be down to bad luck that I haven't gotten pg yet - we do seem to cover our bases in the GOF department even if I do ov earlier.

By the way, welcome to the newbies!

And Kay at that insane man!

kookykid · 17/06/2008 12:34

Oooh, me too, me too! I want a rub as well Sorky!

sorkycake · 17/06/2008 12:34

I think you O'd on cd16 last month with an LP11.

The month you were successful I think it was cd16 as well.

I think you have a slow rise. All the other signs point to an earlier O. open cervix, Ewcm, etc. I think ff puts too much emphasis on temps.

For instance this month it would've had me down for O 3 days later than I know I did. That would have given me a +ve at 8dpo, before my triphasic temps, which is just not possible.

OP posts:
lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 13:08

Thanks for that, sorky. My cervix position is not really accurate, but it is all definitely something to consider.
