I’m 8dpo today and had a .3 dip on temp this morning.
yesterday I felt horrendous in the evening with a tummy upset. Spent like 2 hours in bathroom 🙈 back pain tummy pain - clearly must have ate something bad - tried laying in bath etc to ease the pain .. ended up feeling so wiped out went to bed and got up 11 hours later … I may go purchase early tests to do Friday - or may just see how long I can wait it out

Hello ladies, just jumping on this post. As ovulation day is causing me the most stress in this whole process, due to having iui procedures and needing to be more accurate as I only got one shot at insemination each cycle. Are we taking the first significant temp rise as ovulation day? As sometimes natural cycles does this for me and sometimes it doesn’t take the first rise, but takes the second rise, even if this second rise is not as bigger rise as the first. So it really confuses me. I am aware of the 3 over 6 rule as well for BBT. Which I also apply. My Oura ring is usually predicting the same as me on the first steep rise, but as NC is an approved fertility tracking app. There is more pressure to follow this. One month however it changed its mind from its first prediction after my positive LH result and moved ovulation to more than 4 days later because it saw a further dip and then steeper rise. This makes no sense to me as ovulation would occur at the very latest 36-48 hours from LH surge and 4 days plus later is way too late. I think I’m out this month tbh. My clinic official test date is tomorrow, but I’m not even getting the faintest of lines on an early detection test and it will be 14DPO tomorrow. Most people have had a positive by now. My period could possibly still be 6 days off yet as I have 32 day cycles generally. So I suppose could still be early for even the early detectors. But I have lost all hope tbh. I see as early as 8DPO positives for ppl and I ovulate early in the month as well after tracking last few cycles! Makes me sad.😔

@BlueEyes272 everybody is different everyone seems to have their own trend.. i tend to ovulate on day that my bbt dips, sometimes it takes up to 3 days to rise tho....it's all very confusing..it's good to combine both bbt and lh tests...to have an estimate of when you ovulated...pinpointing exactly when it occured is only possible with scan...

Thank you for your reply. I have decided I am going to ask for a monitoring scan before the procedure next time, as you’re right that is the only way to know. Clinic pushed back a bit on it this cycle, one because they didn’t think I needed it with regular cycles and ovulating on my own (as far as I am aware- had Pdg test done last month) they also said it might not be possible timing wise on the day of to have one done. Sometimes it feels like if they take less intervention away so more chance of failure, you’re back again for more treatment and they’ve got more money out of you. Eventually I will probably decided on monitoring scan and trigger shot.

I’ve been on holiday for most of my 2ww.
10/11 dpo today and for the first time in a year I’ve not had a single symptom. I think being away my mind has been on other things. Such a weird feeling.

@Ec2808 did another opk this afternoon and it’s coming in at 2.62 now 🤯 so I’d say that’s my peak. We’ve managed to cover today, hopefully manage tomorrow too but after that dp is back to work so unlikely to find the time but I think that should be enough right? 🤞🏻

@HansBanans omg that's soo high!!! 😍oh yesss if you cover tomorrow you've done all you can...anything after that will most likely be too late anyhow... just out of curiosity was your ovulation date around the same time as usual or off a bit? 😘

@Ec2808 I’m cd16 today and it averages cd15-cd19 so it’s in line with expectations. Definitely been more active with our efforts this month tho 😂

@BlueEyes272 don’t count yourself out espy if you don’t know exactly when ovulation was. Most ppl don’t get a positive that early - but on here it looks like a trend but reality it’s not accurate -
fingers crossed you see a line soon ..
ive Tested today on some 25mui ones which is so silly as I’m only 8dpo but I think I may have a squinter .. I have ordered some frers now so I will know at some point..

Thank you for your words of hope, however if I am not accurate with ovulation day and was completely out, then there’s no chance I’m in this cycle as I’m relying on IUI which only happens on one day in the cycle. Too late or too early and that’s game over. Did clinic protocol of day following a static smiley for LH surge and I did have all the cervical mucus etc etc. it felt like the timing was right. Maybe something else has gone wrong in the chain, somewhere else upto implantation. I did have like a pulling, tugging sensation on Saturday night that I’ve never experienced ever before. On googling people report similar for implantation. That would mean I should have already started showing some faint lines from Hcg by now as it’s been 3-4 days. I live in hope from stories of this people never getting a positive until day before period is due or something. Sending all the luck in the world to you too ☺️

Morning ladies, I had to let you know that after 21 very long months I got my bfp this morning. Af is 2 days late and I was scared to test until now as it’s been such a long road.
I am in utter shock. My husband is away and is back Thursday evening so he doesn’t even know yet. Thanks @Ec2808 for starting this thread 💕
