2 week wait purgatory!

I'm going out of my mind on month 5 of ttc! Anyone else with me?! On 8dpo, every little niggle or thing is driving me crazy. Just had a bit of spotting so could it be implantation bleeding or is my period coming?! (And so begins a 30 min google hole of perimenopause symptoms, because im 40 so it could be!!!) Argh!

7dpo for me. I’m on cycle 11 with one chemical in January - I’m hoping to hold out til AF is due but honestly I’m surprised I haven’t tested already!

Im sorry about your chemical :-( I think I had one last month too.
I was going to try not to test until at least 10dpo but obviously caved! 🙄 very impressed you haven't tested yet @flowerpots2!

Spotting around this time seems very positive to me OP!! Most likely implantation bleeding i say! Wishing you best of luck this week!!
I am on 5 DPO and my anxiety this month is really something else. Hope there is a way to pass time quickly. Appreciate any tips on that :)

Thanks! Im not even sure that my period isn't coming tbh, really feels like it event thought its 5 or so days early! So weird. God its torture! @Magicstar2025 Im sooo fed up of negative tests too! Going to wait another couple of days! @Aprilsunnyday I just try and stop googling everything (impossible)and replace with binge watching rubbish in the evening! Its awful isn't it! Are you going to try and wait a few days to test?

I'm also 7dpo today, but I'm on holiday until 12dpo and purposely only brought one test so I'm hoping to hold off as long as possible!

I've not had any symptoms at all, but didn't have any with DD1 either. I've had one early miscarriage pre-DD1 and one MMC (last cycle) where I had lots more symptoms in the 2ww so I don't trust them anymore!

Im so sorry about your miscarriages. You made such a good decision to only take 1 test on hol! When do you think you will take it?! When would you ordinarily be coming on AF? Im being driven mad by mine, bit of spotting at like 9dpo but the last couple of months thats been happening at like 12dpo then AF arrives anyway at like 15dpo. Feeling encouraged by the fact that im only either 8 or 9dpo and ive already had spotting which even by my body's standards is early! Argh!

I'm 6DPO and absolutely bricking it already. It's been 2 years since we conceived our first (now 18 months). I didn't think I'd be so invested and symptom spotting like I was with my first, but here we are. I've noticed a massive increase in CM since about 4DPO, it was really watery and there was lots. Now today it's been creamy and a little stretchy which could be due to estrogen rising apparently. Either way I've got way more than usual, especially for post ovulation.

I knew if I brought more I'd be checking daily from way too early and just being disappointed! AF usually comes 12 or 13dpo so I was hoping to hold out until 11dpo, but I'll probably cave at 10dpoas that's when I got a positive with DD1! Do you think you'll still wait until 10dpo too?

Ooh so interesting! I have definitely had an increase in cm too, more than normal I think (?!) Its so hard to recollect when I wasn't really paying much attention before!)
@pineappleK same, I can not believe im obsessing like this! I think its because I've just turned 40, but I wasn't like this when trying to get pregnant with DS's !!

@Jellbell40 I am thinking to start testing around DPO11, I have not been able to symptom spotting simply because there is none. haha.
Do hope this is the month for you and @PineappleKgiven the increased CM. Sounds promising!

Thank you @Aprilsunnyday !! Honestly felt like this could be it then did an ill advised test just now 🤣 and obvs bfn. But I think if I implanted it would have been 2 days ago as had teensy bit spotting and period cramps. Why am I so impatient 🙃!!

I hope it is ok if I join… I had my first positive in August but unfortunately had a miscarriage/chemical at just under 5 weeks, we tried again straight away and now I am 11 dpo (I think I may have actually ovulated later than that though from my ovulation tests) I’m having some crazy symptoms this time that I didn’t with the last. I am super bloated and I’m having a lot of nausea which has been all day until around 4pm for the last 4 days… negative test today which is bumming me out, does anyone have any experience with a negative 11 dpo and testing positive later on? I’m due on on Friday/Saturday.

I'm trying not to think too much into it but the symptom spotting is ridiculous. Tonight I had some mild period like cramps but I also felt quick sick (I ate a whole bag of sweets oops!) so I suspect the cramping might be gastrointestinal rather than hormonal 😂

Still way more CM than normal but I think I remember having a cycle like this before I got pregnant last time and it turned out to be nothing so just trying to tell myself to be patient. It is starting to go a bit stickier too so could just be normal hormones.

@PineappleK trust me I am driving myself beyond crazy, promise you're not alone! Im sorry you're going through it too but im glad im not alone! When are you going to test?
@JHpr im so sorry about your miscarriage. Which kind of test did you use? I dont want to get hopes up because I know so much of this is a mental game! But I have heard on other threads I've been on, people have had bfns at 10/11dp9 and bfp at 14dpo. I'm hoping thats me too!

@Jellbell40i took a clear blue early detection digital, im driving myself pretty crazy right now😂 I will wait until the weekend and test again I think! Fingers crossed for you

@Jellbell40 I had a BFP on 11DPO with my daughter, so I'm waiting till Saturday which is 11 again. I have a FRER and it'll be 4 days before my period so we'll see. When is everyone else testing?

I took a FRER this morning which was a BFN. I’m feeling pretty deflated as, whilst I appreciate is unusually early, I tested positive about 8 days before AF with both DCs (and the chemical). So I’m assuming I’m out as AF is due in 5 days and not even a hint or shadow of a line.

Sorry to hear about the BFNs so far. I'm 9dpo and have held off testing so far, but it's getting more tempting each day! I still haven't had any symptoms, but being on holiday I think I'm more distracted than usual!

I'm trying to talk myself out of testing tomorrow morning (9DPO). Anyone have any luck with positives on day 9 with FRER 😂

Tests are going to cost me a fortune at this rate 🙈

Im sorry @flowerpots2 , thats so annoying, but I wouldn't say you're definitely out....it is still quite early? I am suuuper confused as I got what seems to be a vvvvvvfl line this morning but I also feel like AF is coming!
(Due tomorrow/next day). Honestly its just the worst!did you test @PineappleK ?
@bluepears96 good for you waiting! Its definitely best to wait as long as you can bear i think. But it is just a pain in the backside!
