I agree, dungarees are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 16:32

I know what you mean about the harder you try. So what's the plan? Just GOF as and when and fingers crossed?

I am with you on the dress normally thing, I think MC must make a packet out of people with pregnancy brains who buy their dungarees - sorry to anyone who does like them, but honeslty, they are DUNGAREES fgs!!! I think I'd rather go without clothes than wear them... or maybe not... LOL

Dex Midnight Runners went right over my head....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 16:34

Nice shoes, gorgeous dress

Good luck with the OV'ing, if only so you can this cycle out of the way ready for the next

lardylumps · 14/05/2008 16:36

you have been busy this morning ladies. I am going to go back and catch up now. THanks for the dresses NJ they are lovely I love the £200. But I could buy a new buggy with that.....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 16:38

LOL sod the buggy, you could buy shoes with it

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 16:38

Ooooooh and chocolate

kayzisexpecting · 14/05/2008 16:48

I am buying some dungarees as I like them and I couldn't careless what other people think.

glaskham · 14/05/2008 16:51

me too!! i think knowing so few people are buying them makes them more appealing!!

I always wanted some with my own pregnancies, but carried at the wrong times of year!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 16:59

OK, I promise not to laugh...

No seriously, each to their own and all that, if you both like them then that is obviosuly all that matters

Labour thread distracting me!

glaskham · 14/05/2008 17:08

Is someone giving birth?.... wish i was, then all this waiting to test would eb over- I was so tempted to POAS this morning!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 17:09

glaskham · 14/05/2008 17:12

ooh...I so wanna be a doula!! I'd love to help women through labour!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/05/2008 17:15

I'd love to be a midwife, have always said once I have finished having my kids I'll train to be a MW, but unless the job situation changes, it doesn't seem worth it ATM.

Right had better get on with their dinners, Cal, if you are about tonight, I hope you are feeling better, have a good night everyone xxx

glaskham · 14/05/2008 17:20

okie dokie....my two ahve just finished their tea...i made curry (korma) and rice for them and its gone down in 2mins flat!!! now they cant decide on grapes or kiwi for pudding!!

lardylumps · 14/05/2008 17:26

Right thoughts ladies please. DD is walking everywhere and has been since she was about 11 months. She has a tendency to shrug of my hand so is she to younger for reins?? She is 13almost14 months. Is very stable and RUNS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION ALL THE FRIGGING TIME......

Also will I need a double buggy if I get pg this month?? I am thinking of her getting tired when out shopping etc. The reason I ask is I don?t know whether to get an umbrella fold now (seen a nice one for £120) as current one is more designed for smaller babies and is very big.. Or wait and get a double buggy (Phil and teds is calling me, but tress expensive) so need common since answer.... thanks

kayzisexpecting · 14/05/2008 17:31

DS has reins. If he didn't he would be in the road by now as he is obsessed with cars.

Get the Phil & Teds!!

Cosmogirl · 14/05/2008 17:32

Hi guys,

Hope everyone's well. Haven't had time to catch up properly - bloody patio has taken over our lives!! We have had a quote for laying though and fingers crossed should have a patio by next Tuesday. Woo hoo!!

Tink - massive congrats on your BFP!!!

Mystic BB - mmmm interesting prediction - it may well come true....Have been feeling especially broody this week.

Second cycle off pill and am CD 16 or so today [can't remember without checking FF], so just awaiting the appearance of EWCM again. I cracked yesterday after all my odd symptoms and did a test and was negative. So, bleeding gums, spotty neck, brown spotting, short period after 79 day cycle and really bad heartburn - when I've never had it before - are all symptoms of stopping the pill it seems. Odd or what.

tinkisexcited · 14/05/2008 17:32

afternoon ladies
i am seeing midwife 2 weeks today
sorry cal for mean witch

glaskham · 14/05/2008 17:38

dd is still in a pushchair, she has a mams and papas nipi. they are very good, and good for toddler sized children. DD is very slow, unstable (trips over her own feet) and just not ready to walk full-time yet and has no clue where a road starts!! However ds was walking full-time from about 16mths. He was very steady, very road alert, we had a wrist strap, similar to the reins but just gives them a bit further to go than the reins. Toddler seats or buggy boards wouldprobs be suitable, but depends on what you want. I personally dont like phil and teds.

lardylumps · 14/05/2008 17:38

Cals ae you in this afternoon so sorry just read your post, so sorry AF arrived...

lardylumps · 14/05/2008 17:42

They are just so expensive and I do have a buggy suitable from birth (travel system) so dont really need a new one. DD would be almost 2 by the time any new lo came along so I think I will stick with one I have for new baby (if I am lucky enought to get pregnant) and just get a smaller pushchair for dd now...

glaskham · 14/05/2008 17:51

what about a buggy pod????

lardylumps · 14/05/2008 18:08

There are so many options that I am not going to buy a new buggy now and am going to get a small pushchair for dd now.

yay I am going to order one today. What do you think of this one?

this one

glaskham · 14/05/2008 18:19

thats nice... i was thinking of getting that one for dd....istead i got this one only in tutti fruity colourways. I have the accessory pack too. they are currently £10 off nipi's so it'd be £50 plus £35for hood and raincover, so £85!!

lardylumps · 14/05/2008 18:37

oh thats nice too is the seat padded?
