I'm a hairdresser and will second the fag ash...and nail varnish remover should work too....but for future reference, just before you wash your hair dye off rub some down off your hair onto where its developed on your skin and then wash off, (making sure to get off all the bits on your skin) tint removes tint!! Magic!!

And yes my friend did want me to do a test but i've said no, i dont want her gettign her hopes up when we know its still too early.... and then i also dont want her to see a negative when i could in fact be preggers in the end.

kayzisexpecting · 15/05/2008 20:16

Sorry I haven't been on today.

The police turned up about lunchtime. One of my best friends, a bloke, has been accused of raping his ex. He was with us nearly all day and most of the night as he drove us to York to get some shopping and we went out for a meal in the evening. She wanted to get back with him and he didn't feel the same. She has been arrested for wasting police time.

Its been a horrible day because of this and I haven't been able to concentrate at work this evening.

I hope everyone is ok.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 15/05/2008 20:20

AW my god kays!!! u ok? silly Q i know!

OP posts:
glaskham · 15/05/2008 20:21

aww- kay that sounds like a nightmare day!!

Diege · 15/05/2008 20:23

OMG Kay!!! You poor thing, what an awful shock . Will you have to make a formal statement etc?? Please try and relax - easy to say I know.

Moosma · 15/05/2008 20:23

Ouch Kay, that's awful for your friend! It's people like her that give rapees (if that's the right term) a bad name

I think GJ was having a bit of a break to clear her head wasn't she? I may have imagined that though... However, I have noticed Playing's absence, did I miss a holiday announcement or is she AWOL??

I am ed that fag ash removes hair dye, makes you realise how nasty it is, just think what it does to your insides if it's strong enough to remove dye!

Diege I think you would be wise to wait, you should have the results back in time for next momnth's cycle shouldn't you? 1 month doesn't seem that long in the grand scheme of things if it means you're not worrying for 9! Besides, then you'll be TTCing at the same time as me and I'll have a cycle buddy

Moosma · 15/05/2008 20:24

Right I am off now, DDs are in bed and I still have 9 things on the list . Getting to the difficult ones now........

kayzisexpecting · 15/05/2008 20:27

I'm ok, just a bit shocked really as she doesn't seem to be that type of girl. I feel quite sick actually.

They want both me and DH to make formal statements on Monday. Luckily my friend paid for our meal with his credit card so they can trace it somehow.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 15/05/2008 20:30

god kays i second moos thats a very vindictive thing to do!

as Diege says try and be relaxed safe in the knowledge that your friend hasnt done anything and can prove it

kayzisexpecting · 15/05/2008 20:32

Baby Race - Tuesdays Sky Three at 8 pm. Sorry, got my BBCs and Sky 3s mixed up! Yep Playing has been rather quiet, as has GJ -- perhaps they are just taking some time out. Or maybe they are laying a patio too - I now know that this completely disrupts your whole life!!

Kayz - sorry to hear you've had a stressful day.

Night guys x

Cosmogirl · 15/05/2008 21:12

Forgot to say, friend at work says she is hopeful that DP will propose this year. But if not she says she just might 'get pregnant'.....Don't agree with this myself but can understand how she must be feeling. When you have put 11 years into a relationship the thought of starting again must be really hard, esp when you are desperate for a child.

Diege · 15/05/2008 22:32

Off to bed - why do those final 'bits' around the house take so long? . Speak tomorrow, night all

kayzisexpecting · 16/05/2008 06:21

Morning!

I had 2 kinda wierd dreams last night. First dream was that I was a surrogate mother for an Ostrich. I had to sit on the eggs and stop lions and monkeys etc from stealing the eggs.

Second was that somebody had dumped a baby on my doorstep and I had to look after it. But when I woke up there was a bird on the roof and when I was in the half awake half asleep I thought it was a real baby.

I might not be on much over the weekend as my Dad is comin to visit for the weekend. We're taking him on the train tomorrow as it was his birthday on Tuesday.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/05/2008 06:59

Morning

Sorry about your friend Kay, I hope he is bearing up OK. I expect he is very relieved that he can indeed account for where he was. at his ex... Hope you have a good weekend with your Dad.

Diege, I am surprising myself (because I don't normally do waiting) but I agree with Moos, I'd wait for the sake of a month. Although can imagine how dissapointing that is

OK, 6 weeks today, flowers are still alive, I keep watching them out of the corner of my eye expecting them to just die in less than 1 second 'Pushing Daisy's' stylee! (That program is shite, don't know why we are still watching it) How often is it a bunch of flowers lives for over 2 weeks? I think the only time I remember flowers lasting longer was the ones my mum had delivered when DS2 was born, they lasted getting on for 3 weeks, all the others I have had have been dead within a fortnight. I am going to stop talking about the flowers now, I do realise how absolutely batty I sound....

kayzisexpecting · 16/05/2008 07:03

Morning Nat,

The flowers I got when I had DS lasted about 3 weeks. I was amazed. You obviously got very good flowers.

'Pushing Daisies' is terrible!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/05/2008 07:06

I don't want good flowers I want them to die so I can finally forget the farking flowers!

But just don't let them die today.....

kayzisexpecting · 16/05/2008 07:10

At least you aren't dreaming about Ostrich's! My dreams are crackers ATM!

Diege · 16/05/2008 07:33

Morning . You will be absoloutely FINE Nat, though of course it's understandable how you're feeling - no white coated men needed!
Kay, sounds a good weekend planned with dad; are you taking him on the steam railway? Agree with both of you, don't like Pushing Daisies at all, and it's normally my sirt of programme. May have something to do with dh salivating when Anna slapped arse face comes on the screen
Thanks Moosma for your advice; agree as you and Nat have said that it's not worth the worry for 9 months if the smear is dodgy. Think it's because I'll be missing June out to avoid sickness on hols, so it'll be July/August and almost time for the new teaching term...wish I'd started ttc in Feb now .
Think 'summer' is on its way out here, though still pleasant. All that self-tanning, but it'll be jeans day today I think!
