Does anyone have experience of this? Hubby has just had it done and we are nervously awaiting the outcome!

oh no that's awful. It's so scary when something like that happens at such a young age. Hope things are ok x

yep, I'm guessing terriers pc has crashed too. I think she's due her AF same time as me so keeping my fingers crossed for her that she may have some good news for us by the time her comp is back up and running x

welshlinz · 28/09/2008 10:51

hi girls, forgot to say AF started yesterday so I'm out again.

pinkmook · 29/09/2008 17:23

Hi linz - gutted for you that af got you Its awfully quiet on here isnt it! I might have a look on terriers facebook and see if she's been about, although I really do think her computer has died.

I am on cd5 - I really hate the 2ww it always ends in such disappointment

KatieDD · 29/09/2008 20:24

Can I come back things are looking much brighter here on the baba front, the house is getting sorted, have convinced DH he can enjoy a 3 holiday as much as a 5 one and basically I'm bored stiff now the babies have gone to school and I think he's got the message, all booked in for end of October

pinkmook · 29/09/2008 20:32

YAY KatieDD!!! Thats fantastic and yes yes yes you can come back am so excited for you

welshlinz · 30/09/2008 20:06

thats fantastc katieDD.

Well AF has vanished. Bled for 1 day very very heavy ( clots etc ) but following day nothing and today nothing aswell. Totally confused. My periods are never very long but have never had a 1 dayer before !!

pinkmook · 30/09/2008 20:08

Hmmm very curious Linz....have you tested

terrier141 · 02/10/2008 14:14

Hey girls,
Yes my internet connection is dead, so im in the library today to catch up with you guys!!

Hooray Katie - Im so pleased for you!!

Linz - my af arrived Sun, then nothing Monday but back again Tues - so not sure which to class as CD1??! Similar to you though - has anything else happened since?? Fingers crossed!!

Pink - hows things with you? So sad about your neighbour - what a shock!

OP posts:
pinkmook · 02/10/2008 16:32

Now there's true dedication to the cause - going to the library to keep us up to date!

Come on lInz the suspense is killing me - have you tested??! And you Terrier!

Just as an aside though if you have tested and its negative are you sure it was af? Its just that since I started TTC I have begun "spotting" before proper AF begins. Or could it be cervical erosion? As far as I know cervical erosion doesnt prevent PG but can cause symptoms like this??

pinkmook · 02/10/2008 16:33

If you are temping you can tell f its proper af as your temp will drop as well as bleeding x

welshlinz · 03/10/2008 13:18

Hi girls, no I didn't test as the flow was that heavy on the 1st day I am sure it was just a very short period. Did a bit with DH a few nights ago which triggered a slight bleed for the following day but finished again now. Very weird

I'm confused now as to when I may ovulate cos not sure if it would mess up dates etc.. I don't temp yet, Pink so can't check on that one either. Interesting about cervical erosion. Will have to look into that.

Oh well, I'm going to take things easy this month I think. I have a girls night out tomorrow which I'm planning on enjoying and going to try and not obsess this month

pinkmook · 03/10/2008 18:03

I have read lots of threads on here where people have had heavy bleeding for 1 or 2 days but still been pregnant - I would rule it out before you go on your big night out!

ghostlywhitemook · 05/10/2008 19:17

Hello ladies....anybody there??? I am trying out a new halloween screen name! Any bosy got any news?

ghostlywhitemook · 05/10/2008 19:18

body not bosy LOL

welshlinz · 06/10/2008 12:54

Hey ghostly, am loving the spooky new name lol

I did a cheapie ebay test just to confirm my BFN on Fri and all was in order so guess I'll put it down to an odd cycle month. I must admit though I normally feel when I am ovulating but last month had no change in CM or couldn't feel any ovulation pains either so was wondering if it's possible not to ovulate every cycle ??

Anyway, went out and enjoyed myself on Sat night just incase this is our month and it might be the last night out I have in a while ( fingers crossed )

ghostlywhitemook · 06/10/2008 16:43

Well, hope you had a good night out anyway. I am due on on Friday (have tested this am and its neg so not for me this month I guess

I have seen Attila (who knows lots and lots about fertility etc) on here say that its perfectly normal to have the odd anovulatory month so maybe thats what it was all down to?

I was thinking of Pinkspook rather than ghostlywhitemook...hmmmm yes I'll try that

KatieDD · 06/10/2008 22:26

Nothing to report here, just planning half term/activity's and getting the house as sorted as I can for Christmas, trying not to think about babies but next door is due one any day so impossible not too lol
Hope everyone's well

pinkspook · 07/10/2008 18:17

Hi KatieDD - Mega fucked off TBH. Rarrrgghhh I hate TTC. (Can you tell Im due on on friday?) I am going to want some serious answers off that bastard consultant or his underling - whatever on 20th Oct

welshlinz · 08/10/2008 18:31

Hi all,

What's up pink ? You sound major stressed at the moment. Is everything ok ?

KatieDD, is your DH having the op at the end of this month or is he going for his consultation ? Whichever, great news !!!!

I'm adopting a really laid back attitude this month towards ttc as tbh, I just want to have a month off if that makes sense.
I haven't worked out any of my cycle dates or ov dates and we're just going to get fruity whenever we feel like it instead of obsessing over when my most fertile days are !!

KatieDD · 08/10/2008 18:51

Hi All,
I think we've decided that he's going to have sperm aspiration and IVF and give it one shot.
Emotionally I don't think either of us could cope with all this waiting and trying and it not working, so it either does on the first go or else that's it for me
I was so hoping one of you would be pregnant by now, it's so unfair isn't it.
Am praying hard for all of us.
Kate
xx

pinkspook · 08/10/2008 19:11

Kate thats amazing and scary and I wish you 100% luck. It looks like we are going to go for maybe IUI followed by IVF Vasectomies are evil

Hiya Linz I wish I could be laid back like that. I have had a really poop week. We found out DH's grandma was dying the other day and within about 10 mins of that phonecall an old woman reversed into us on a car park - to cut a very lomg story short, she admitted fault at first then when we rang her to offer her the chance to just pay for a replacement light which she had broken, she blatanlty lied and said we hit her felt like such idiots for trustung the old boot and not seeking other witnesses but she admitted fault. so now the whole process of trying to prove WE are not lying is going on and its DH's grandmas funeral on Friday

KatieDD · 08/10/2008 19:57

Sorry guys, good luck am off, never come across anything like it on an internet forum.
Take care and I hope you all get your babies
Katie

pinkspook · 08/10/2008 21:03

Good Luck KatieDD - let us know how you get on xxxx

welshlinz · 10/10/2008 11:57

Good luck Katie xx will keep everything crossed for you that things go well x

Pink, I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's grandma. Hope you get through today ok x

The only reason I'm laid back this month is because I've had a stern talking to myself. I was beginning to get consumed in ttc.. checking charts to see when I might be ovulating etc and tbh, I've kind of figured with DH's sperm results it's not very likely we're going to be successful so I've decided to just go back to how things were before. No checking of dates, just doing it as and when we feel like it and if we are blessed to get a baby out if then our dreams will have been answered. It's the only way I can deal with things if I tell the truth.

Hope you have a great weekend xx

KatieDD · 10/10/2008 12:36

Soory was throwing my toys out of the pram, mumsnet have now deleted what I had issues with so am sneaking back again hope that's ok ?
