I'm staying put and taking my temp until I get 18 high temps if that's ok? I don't mind being in a little BFP section lol just not ready to leave just yet IYSWIM.

Highest temp I've ever had this morning!

Oh god - don't leave! We need mascots! Good to see a nice high temp from you, too.

Congratulations Squack! What a great month so far!

Strange thing this morning - took my temp first thing - 36.4 then tried again after breakfast and it was 35.8 - any idea how this can happen??

I'm assuming the first temp is the most 'accurate' but I didn't think it would go down as much as that!?

UptheSquack · 05/06/2008 10:16

not in that way obv, just for a bit of luck!

OOoh, rub me too please!

Lottie the weather IS gorgeous today! We'd better get outside, today might be our summer!

My temps are absolute rubbish this month. Mine was higher this morning, but I woke up nearly an hour late Maybe due to early pg symptom of extreme tiredness?!?! (clutching straws)

MissModular No idea why your temp would do that - you'd expect it to go up. Unless you had something cold for breakfast? Either way, you wouldn't ever use your post-breakfast temp as you need to take your temp before you even get out of bed, let alone eat a meal! Hope that helps!

Thanks Lottie Unfortunately, staring at my chart does nothing for me, as there's really nothing to see! Just have to wait until Monday and it's agony...

You had a lovely jump this morning

At the risk of being all internet chat board soppy - {{{{hugs}}}} for you.

I hear ya on the bored front! I can't believe how jaded I've gotten in such a short amount of time! I'm beginning to feel resentful towards people who already have babies and I hate myself for it.

Good luck at your appointment. I hope it's helpful. Might just be a good idea to talk to someone and get it all on record with the hospital?

will have to check out the film you mention!

LBOT and Lottie cheer up and stay positive - it will happen for all of us...look how long I have been here and still ing..... (sometimes)..
lottie are you still doing your accupuncture...
I swear the last few weeks I have felt millions better less tired and sluggish and generally great and I am saying its because of that as I haven't felt so chilled in months!!
Although tonight feel like wine so I damn well am going to have some! cheers...!
But I agree it is boring this 2ww lark....why can't it be a couple of days....

Yarnie · 06/06/2008 07:00

Sorry to hear you're both feeling down LBOT and Lottie. I hope you feel a little brighter today. It's nearly the weekend, so I prescribe some spoiling treatment - go eat good things, watch a movie and hunker down under the duvet

Lottie I go once a week at the moment at £40 a go - Am going to keep going for the next 6/7 weeks until I go on holiday again! Am away for a few weeks.
Its strange but mine is a guy and he always asks my cycle date and I'm lying there discussing periods and all sorts anyway the way it is making me feel is great so if it helps me and I do fall pregnant then brilliant.... my temps this month are also looking fab so quite exciting...

how many needles do you get and how long for - just interested to compare.!! I have 12 needles for about 45 minutes...
1 in the arm/wrist/tummy/knee/calf and ankle.. the ones in the wrist are always scary as they hurt!!!
Must go.,...

lastboxoftampons · 06/06/2008 11:18

Hmmm...things just got interesting this morning...check out my temp spike My temp hasn't been that high for two cycles now. I did nothing yesterday that would make my temp higher this morning. Not getting excited just yet, but my interest is definitely piqued! And I at least feel a little better about my temps this month now - but it could be a total rogue temp! I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Lottie RE: Kings - it's our local hospital and I had been to their EPU during my pregnancy. But here's something interesting about it - my SIL is a pharmaceutical sales rep and chose to give birth there instead of going private - she said that because it's in an 'underserved' council, it gets lots of government funding for treatments, equipment, etc that wealthier councils can't afford. Just a thought...

I'm not sure this temping lark is working for me - had to rush out of bed this morning because it sounded like DD had just fallen out of her cot (she hadn't) AND I've got a tummy bug so I've had a real spike in temp this morning. Just measured again just now and it's back down to 36.4, same as yesterday. I'm fairly sure I didn't O on CD9 so I'm going to treat it as a rogue one and watch carefully over the next few days. I've probably got a crap thermometer...

FWIW I had to wait for a while to conceive DD and at times it felt like it would never happen. But it did and the wait made me all the more grateful for having her. Hopefully the same will happen for all of us
