Oops. Sorry for missing the dpos. I was a bit bleary this morning.

Squack Yaay for triphasicness Bring on the BFP! I could do with the cheer. Having read too so much about people's problems ttc I feel pessimistic about the whole enterprise and I'm only on cycle 1! I need an injection of optimism as I'm sure a PMA will help the process.

Missmodular · 03/06/2008 11:12

Hurray Herbgarden you've graduated! Try not to worry and enjoy it!

No temps from me yet, missed the boat this morning due to early rise from DD - will start tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for you, Squack!

Hi I have a couple of questions, I have just joined fertility friend and started temping, do you need a special themometer i am just using a standard digital one from the chemist and do i need to test at exactly the sametime every morning??

Any advice or tips you could give me would be appreciated

Thanks

Yarnie · 04/06/2008 07:17

Hi LMD. Ideally you need a thermometer which measures to two decimal places to detect subtle temperature changes. Babymad (online) do a good cheap one and they send them out very quickly.

You need to take your temperature as close to the same time as possible each morning as your temperature gradually goes up throughout the morning. Remember to do it before you've got out of bed and done anything else.

question: do CB have evap lines? Should you see dots or a plain line?

OP posts:
Yarnie · 04/06/2008 07:55

Squack I think CBs are meant to have a solid line. I believe they are also known to produce evap lines. That looks like a good temperature still. I have fingers and toes crossed that your maybe-BFP is a real BFP. Keep us updated!

Squack · 04/06/2008 08:00

Yes I thought so, thank you for that Yarnie I absolutely hate them.

I'm going to get a FR today.

OP posts:
herbgarden · 04/06/2008 08:51

Squack - I bought a 2 pack cb digital so that if I got a negative that I could re-test a day or so later. I figured that if I just bought one at a tenner I'd have to go back and buy another so for an extra fiver it was worth it !!...

I'll be dropping in over the next few days to see what's happening.

Don't quite feel ready to graduate. I've found this thread a real comfort through this process.......

Squack Excellent news. Congratulations xxxx

lastboxoftampons · 04/06/2008 13:33

YAY, Squack!!!!! Congrats! Post your chart again so we can all see what an-honest-to-goodness TRIPHASIC looks like!

UptheSquack · 04/06/2008 13:40

here

I have a confession to make....I tested last night with CB and there was such a faint line (it wasn't dotty) that I just though it was an evap.
Tested again this morning (twin pack) and the same line only a smidge darker, like a grey-blue.

I just knew it was wrong so I went to get a FR (THE best hpt imho) got a tin pack just in case but BLAM it developed at the same time as the control line did.

It's very pink, but not as dark as the control.

Will do a digi on Saturday just to make sure I've never seen the words lol

LBOT you have been fab to me this 2ww and I promise to be exactly the same for your 2ww

lastboxoftampons · 04/06/2008 13:43

I had to pop back....and how exciting Squack well done and huge congratulations !!! No 4 - what a noisy old house that's going to be but how lovely. I've always wanted a big family.

I've moved over to the Feb ante natal thread so that I've got some "friends" to hold my hand through this scary first few weeks....maybe you might pop in ?

Take care.

fymandbean · 04/06/2008 18:58

Yarnie · 05/06/2008 07:04

Yaay! Squack! I got to put you on the BFP list I took you off the other list - hope that's what I was meant to do...

My temp went up today so, combined with a nearly positive opk, I'm pretty sure I ov'd yesterday, which would be right on track (CD 13/27).

So. My first 2ww. I'm told I'll experience a fresh kind of hell! How long before I start symptom spotting?!

Hope everyone's feeling fine this am and invigorated by our BFP!
