Hi everyone, I'm on CD 7 (I think.. last month was a very weird cycle for me) and going to start ovulation testing with the easy @ home strips and use the app they have.

I've used the clear blue smiley face tests the past 3 cycles but wanted to try something different this month.. but I'm worried I'm going to read them wrong as the clear blue ones were very straightforward!

If anyone has used these strips, what time of day did you test? I've read not to use the FMU so plan to test at 6pm (due to work) until I get a line and then try and test at 12pm too..

And did you not drink/wee for 2 hours before doing the test? With clear blue I left it 4 hours but struggled!

Would be great to chat to anyone who's also hoping this will be the month🤞🏼

@PoppyGirl222 definitely a line on there!
hopefully the bleeding will calm down, so frustrating as only time will tell but I know that’s easier said when you’re not the one going through it.
maybe test in another couple of days?

I’m not 100% sold for now 😕. Don’t you think it’s a little bit too clear, shouldn’t it be even slightly pink? Plus the wee episodes of blood? I dunno i smell a rat 🔎🕵🏼‍♀️ all is not what it seems lol.

I didn’t think it’d be this difficult, the mental side of it is so so tough. I’m actually ok with the ttc part but it’s the tww that i’m going to find insanely hard 😬🙈. I’m gonna do another one in the morning sure why not lol i’m invested now hahaha 🤷🏼‍♀️

@PoppyGirl222 i really don’t want to get your hopes up but I would totally take that as positive! That looks positive to me! I can see 2 lines no squinting.

The bleeding is it full on? Or just brownish/light ish?

@PoppyGirl222 I’m with the others - that does look positive. I’ve had indents before and they wouldn’t show like that on a picture. Do another one in the morning.

also, I’d get a first response pink dye test to take - they’re much clearer xx

When it’s happened it’s always been light pink/pink when i wipe but tonight i thought “ohhh has my period came?” and there was about half a teaspoon of a pretty decent red colour on the toilet paper. I thought it was it here and i’m out so put a tampon in and went out. Two hrs later come home and there’s literally a brown smidge on it (tmi sorry lol) barely anything on it. Now it’s back to being clear again when i pee and wipe 🤷🏼‍♀️ nothing.

It’s completely away again, nothing when i wipe. After that wee “whoops my period has come” moment that was it, a brown smudge on the tampon after two hrs. It really felt like that was it starting to come, it was proper red and definitely liquid not discharge. I’ll do one in the morning. I’d quite bad cramps too which have gone away 🤷🏼‍♀️. Hope you’re doing well?

I think a line is a line! That’s also a good sign the bleeding has stopped. Best of luck for when you next test ❤️

I am only 6dpo, been a long week!

Not long to go now, the tww is hard. I underestimated it. Do you feel anything? I’m gonna stop testing because i’m pushing myself into a negative headspace “what if ‘ing”. There’s no line on the one this morning so it must’ve been two dodgy tests 🤷🏼‍♀️. My LH is low, not that i would even understand either way what that meant hahahahaha 🙄.

@PoppyGirl222 step away from the tests ….. when is your period due? The earliest you would show would be 6 days before your missed period, so 5 days before your period is due - and that would be on an ultra early clearblue or early first response. Those cheapy tests would be extremely unlikely to pick up a line before 10/11dpo I think (unless you ovulated earlier than you thought - which you didn’t as you tested ovulation).
Havinf said all of that - I tested at 7dpo on an internet cheapy this morning 😆😆 it was a stark negative … as expected 🤣 XXXX

@PoppyGirl222 also forgot to add … when I was pregnant with my daughter, I found out 5 days before my period with a clearblue ultra early. But it didn’t show on the cheapy tests until after my missed period XX

Thank you 🥹. My period is due next Friday (14th) im 10dpo today. I have a 26/27 day cycle have done since my early 20’s. What made you check, do you feel different? 7dpo is so early i hope you’re not being hard with yourself 💛 you’ve heaps of testing to do yet 💪🏼. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s

@PoppyGirl222 of course I have convinced myself I am pregnant 🤣. Symptom spotting all over the place. But tbh the main one I’ve noticed is cramping … it’s really been quite sore at times (seems too early to be period cramping). Also TMI… but I’ve been going to the loo more often. Sort of 2-3 times a day? Probably unrelated 😆 xx

Ohhhh 🤗 they are all great signs, yay! Hopefully you’ll get a positive this month. I feel like i’ve no right to be down about anything because i know i’ve only been trying since Christmas but it really does get to you doesn’t it 😱😔😕🤷🏼‍♀️. I have cramps, on off spotting and sore aching boobs. All of which are probably pms but my brain is trying to make me think i’m pregnant

@PoppyGirl222 thats so strange about the bleeding on and off? Especially since you’ve not spotted before and seems to early for your period.
but with the test you did this morning I can see a line on it! It is really faint but I can see something.

I’d probably try wait a few more days before testing again so you don’t have the is there a line or not? And hopefully the bleeding fully stops! 🤞🏻

I’ve got no symptoms at all for me, started bbt again and it’s high so that’s good 🥰

My bbt has stayed up, it’s hovering around 36.7 which is unusual as I never normally get it above 36.4, I’ve had the odd high but it never stays up. Boobs are really sore…almost to the point that my bra feels irritating/itchy if that makes sense 😆 totally gonna look back on this and feel mental if AF arrives next week….only a few days to go girls!

@PoppyGirl222 hey so far I woke up at 6am with some cramp, been crampy tonight, boobs are swollen. Milk discharge. Could be AF coming? Not due until Wed/Thurs. I do tend to get a bit crampy though so not reading into that too much. Also can you even get implantation cramps 6dpo? Fingers crossed for you all 🤞

I'm been testing LH for the past 4 days and all still too low to start trying properly. Have been getting disappointed with all the waiting but hearing from all your positive symptom spotting is exciting!!
Definitely feels like a lucky group 🤞🤞

@LuckyDuck93 hows the temp this morning? I’ve had a slight dip, still above baseline but dipped, if it dips again tomorrow I think it’s a sign af is on her way! But I am sweating today but I dunno if that’s still temperature from illness. 🤷🏼‍♀️

10dpo and I have to say this TWW has flown! I think the key is be stressed with life/work/illness then you don’t think about it 😂😂

@Mama09876 dipped a little but still high!
I must say, if I’m not pregnant this is the worst lead up to AF I’ve ever had, I don’t think I’ve ever had boobs this sore or cramps so early on considering not due until Thurs/fri! Probably will look back at this and laugh next week though

I am 7dpo. Considering testing tomorrow morning 🫣

@Mama09876 It’s there when i wipe on & off 🤷🏼‍♀️. Of course i took a test this morning because why not sure put myself though it again lol 🙄 why do we do it to ourselves once we start. It’s clear as a whistle. The LH is rising but then it does that doesn’t it before your period? I’m done, i’m over it, my period will come and i need to accept it and try next month. If i don’t force myself to think like that i’ll go nuts. 11dpo today it’s safe to say im out like.

That all sounds promising 😀🤞🏼. I honestly don’t know about implantation at 6dpo, i’m so new to all this. I know i read somewhere once that it’s between 6dpo/12dpo so that’s really good. Google is my friend lol. I reckon any symptom is a step in the right direction. I’m so hoping for good things for this group 💪🏼
