Hi everyone, I'm on CD 7 (I think.. last month was a very weird cycle for me) and going to start ovulation testing with the easy @ home strips and use the app they have.

I've used the clear blue smiley face tests the past 3 cycles but wanted to try something different this month.. but I'm worried I'm going to read them wrong as the clear blue ones were very straightforward!

If anyone has used these strips, what time of day did you test? I've read not to use the FMU so plan to test at 6pm (due to work) until I get a line and then try and test at 12pm too..

And did you not drink/wee for 2 hours before doing the test? With clear blue I left it 4 hours but struggled!

Would be great to chat to anyone who's also hoping this will be the month🤞🏼

My period has arrived! Just been to the toilet and starting to get some spotting so she’ll be here full force tonight/tomorrow. Knew she was coming with that massive dip in temp yesterday! I think the higher temp this morning was cause of my fever with illness.

Anyway on to month 6! I can’t be down about it. I mean makes me a little bit worried but gotta keep trying and staying positive!

I’m sticking around to see all those positive tests by Friday ladies!! Got everything crossed for you all 🤞🏻✨🤍

Oh @Mama09876, sorry it sounds as if AF has made its appearance. Fingers crossed you're okay. We have a saying in our house: 'Minstrels for your Menstruals' so I hope someone buys you a bag of Minstrel chocolates and they make you feel much better!

Thank you @Taysonic i love that saying! I’ve some left over cake from a family birthday that I’ll be tucking into once the little ones in bed.

We made a decision next cycle will be our 6th month of TTC our 2nd so if it doesn’t work then we’ll pay for some tests just to make sure everything’s all ok. Whys it so difficult with the 2nd? 😂 I can only assume it’s our age? 4 years older since my first. Or I have been extremely stressed with work that can’t be good either. Any way we gotta keep moving forward and staying positive as my friend says it’ll happen when it’s meant to 🤍

don’t forget with your 1st you’ll have had all the time (&energy) in the world to focus on ttc, now your focus is on raising a tiny human too!

@LuckyDuck93 you’re right life does take over and I feel like I’ve had no energy at all for the past 4 years 😂😂
I was certainly fitter physically before my 1st and it was mid covid so I was on furlough so much more relaxed and had more time for sure!
Now life is a 100 miles an hour constantly! 😂

I’ve just ordered one of the AMH at home test kits apparently it’s a blood test and it tells you your egg reserves, out of curiosity more than anything.

Period has absolutely arrived now.

I’ve got everything crossed for you all though! They’ll defo be some more positives by the end of the week ✨

AF still not arrived 3days late BFN 🤷🏻‍♀️

AF has arrived early! Oh well, on to March :)

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

Im not feeling as positive as yesterday, just got a feeling AF is on her way, cramps in my back are quite bad. Hope you're all doing ok!

The lurgy has struck our household again @LuckyDuck93 so feeling rotten today! Only 6dpo but I have cramp this morning so I’m thinking possibly an early AF may be on the cards for me too.

Like @TTCRach said, cramps aren't necessarily a bad thing @LuckyDuck93 . It's a cruel twist of fate that there are so many similarities between PMS symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms. Who designed this!? I have some significant feedback.

I have no idea what's going on with me. Was feeling fairly optimistic over the weekend, and then completely hopeless yesterday morning. Difficult to know when you're just viewing things with rose-tinted glasses and allowing yourself to get into 'confirmation bias' zone or if there really are good indicators.

Had a bit of a shock last night as after some late night ba-doinking (can't call it BDing if fertile window has passed!), there was a bit of blood. Initially got upset as thought AF must have come early or maybe the 'poking' had encouraged it to make an early appearance... but nothing this morning.

Struggling between feeling hopeful it might be a sign of some implantation bleeding or facing the reality that AF might be on its way. Either way, still in limbo.

@Ashley942k can certainly see those, congrats!
@Mama09876 temp is still up actually, just getting in my head about it all I think.
@Taysonic hit the nail on the head there, who designed this 😂 I feel the same, like I felt a bit sicky last night, but am I just convincing myself that I feel that way? My poor brain!

I ovulated either CD 12 or CD 13 this cycle, didn’t temp CD 12 so not certain.

Only managed to dtd CD 10 & 12 since husband has been working away so we’ll see!

Period came in the middle of the night 🤷🏼‍♀️. Ahh well onto the next month 💪🏼 it’s try #4 for us because we’ve tried since December so lucky number four maybe, who knows. I’ll get him signed up to another schedule lol. We’re off out on a date tonight, i’ll paint on a smile life continues on along side all our emotions sadly. Love to you you all xx

Oh @PoppyGirl222, so sorry. It all sounded so hopeful and promising. You're doing all the right things, so just keep at it, enjoy yourself this week and over the weekend, make the most of all those things you can do knowing you aren't pregnant, and will keep all my fingers crossed for #4 for you. Will keep following your journey for sure.

@PoppyGirl222 really sorry! What a rubbish month most of us are having, I’m the same as you @Taysonic definitely feel like AF on the way and had a bit of spotting today so not long before the whole thing. I’d had so many symptoms the last two weeks, convinced myself this was the month!!

@PoppyGirl222 aww poppy that’s so shit I really could see those faint lines maybe dodgy tests? I hope you’re ok! And enjoying date night! Selfishly I’ll look forward to the company next cycle! Won’t be to long away now.

@Taysonic it’s promising that period hasn’t arrived yet! I remember I had some very little bleeding when we had sex when I knew I was already pregnant so maybe a good sign?
