Hi everyone, I'm on CD 7 (I think.. last month was a very weird cycle for me) and going to start ovulation testing with the easy @ home strips and use the app they have.

I've used the clear blue smiley face tests the past 3 cycles but wanted to try something different this month.. but I'm worried I'm going to read them wrong as the clear blue ones were very straightforward!

If anyone has used these strips, what time of day did you test? I've read not to use the FMU so plan to test at 6pm (due to work) until I get a line and then try and test at 12pm too..

And did you not drink/wee for 2 hours before doing the test? With clear blue I left it 4 hours but struggled!

Would be great to chat to anyone who's also hoping this will be the month🤞🏼

Ladies I have no idea what is going on with my temp. It’s shot back up, I fully expected period to arrive yesterday or last night but nothing. I’ve not been symptom spotting so nothing to report there but I am really ill so i can only assume that’s the reason for the weird temperatures? I was dripping with sweat in bed last night (tmi 🤦🏼‍♀️) is that due to pregnant or fever? Who knows 😂 I’ve lost my appetite didn’t have any dinner and not hungry this morning pregnant or illness? No idea! But I suppose good thing is af not shown yet. 12dpo but not getting my hopes up truthfully I think she’ll show this week!

@Mama09876 mine has actually gone back up this morning too, hopefully a positive sign for you!
I spent half of yesterday talking myself out of testing, very proud of myself 😆 had heartburn really badly all day yesterday, but then had dull cramps and convinced myself AF was on the way...still nothing..no idea what is going on x

@LuckyDuck93 i feel very confused as well I’ve had a few cramps here and there but nothing major could easily be period coming. I was very tempted yesterday to test as well but I’ve convinced myself there is no point in wasting a test.
my RHR is dropping daily as well so I really don’t think it’s happened for me this month. But we’ll see by Friday! Not long now!! You still waiting till end of the week?

@Mama09876 i'm hoping to, I actually don't have any tests at home so that'll help. Just looked at my RHR & it's probably a little bit up from a couple of weeks ago, only by 3-4BPM though.
Remember last week when I said I wasn't going to overthink 😅

I AM MASSIVELY OVERTHINKING!

Someone needs to save me from myself. I'm going to drive myself insane.

@LuckyDuck93 i mean it’s another good sign! If it’s going up then it’s good. I think from what I can remember from about 10dpo mine creeped by about 1bpm daily/every other day with my first.

@Taysonic 😂 have you taken a test or holding out? Remind me again are you similar timings as us about 12dpo?

See mine is just dropping, which makes me think it’s not happening for me this month.

@Mama09876 had no idea I could view my HR like that, this is the last 4 weeks which looks promising!

I’m not doing well with avoiding tests lol, tested at 10am at 9dpo, negative 🫣

I had cramping and took two paracetamol but no bleeding. I tested because with my last pregnancy, I cramped a fair bit and took painkillers and then the next day BFP. Going to see what tomorrow brings. I’d be worried if I bled today as that’s like a 9 day luteal phase or something. Good luck everyone!

I did a test this morning because my willpower completely fizzled out, but it was negative. I knew it would be too early but tried anyway.

Got myself in such a spin yesterday around the elevated RHR and that my body battery hadn't gone up overnight over the weekend, and then last night, body battery went up as normal. Realistically, I know I'm unlikely to get any definitive answers until Friday, unless AF turns up early...

Told myself I wouldn't get caught up in it all as much as I have but that TTC rollercoaster is real, isn't it?

Keep bringing the good news everyone - it gives me hope and makes me more happy than it probably should. Ha ha.

Hey everyone. Sorry for being m.i.a been keeping busy and honestly i tried to pretend i wasn’t in the tww or even ttc to be frank 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m so frustrated at the process & for some reason a bit down. I know it’s not been long but i can’t help it. I did test a couple of more times but absolutely nothing different (other than that is it a line is it not a line squinter). My period will come Friday i have no doubts about that but next month is another month 💪🏼. My LH is rising. I’ll add my tests, i find it always helps to physically see something and tell the difference. I’m so excited for you all, there’s so really promising signs & tests here 😀😀😀.

@Taysonic it really is a rollercoaster of emotional! I’ve been fine but today I can’t stop thinking about it! I think it’s cause it’s getting closer to Friday. I won’t test before though I’d rather period arrive than me see a negative test. Just for my sanity! I hoping your negative tests are just cause it’s still early on! 🤞🏻

@PoppyGirl222 i can see lines on your tests you know? Maybe LH is rising cause it’s picking up HCG? There is defo shadows in your pregnancy tests! Not to get your hopes up but I don’t think your out yet keep testing and hopefully they get darker!

I’m like you, i’d now rather just see my period. I can’t deal with is it/isn’t it, nope not for me. I love routine & schedules and black & white. I’m not a grey area/surprise kinda girl lol. I’ve cramps & the odd brown bit of discharge it’s textbook period prep 🤷🏼‍♀️😔 definitely is. How are you feeling, any better? That’s been ages you’ve been ill you must be so annoyed with it.

I can see it yea 😕, awk i dunno wouldn’t it be a stronger line by now? I’m 13dpo today. Literally every test i’ve done has shown up white when inverted but the lines have been different widths each time. I love your positivity 💪🏼💛 you make me feel better

I’ve just looked back and you started getting some spotting from 6th I think that would have been 8dpo? Let’s just say that was implantation bleed it’s only been 5 days since implantation maybe shorter maybe the tests will be darker as days go on? Some peoples test maybe darker at 13 dpo as their implantation was earlier. I’m staying positive for you! I have a good feeling. keep testing.

Every time I go the toilet I keep thinking I’ll see blood I’m getting a few pains today so I really think it’s going to arrive this week. I’m not hopeful with my RHR dropping and my temp being lower. But period not arriving is keeping me hopeful for a bit longer.

I can definitely see a line too... so just hold tight a bit and see what happens. Easier said than done, I know but, I'd be mildly hopeful if I was you!

I know everyone is different and cycles aren't the same and bla bla bla... but I'm fairly sure I was due on my period on a Friday when I got pregnant the first time. I tested on the Tuesday and it was negative. Had a very faint positive on the Wednesday and then got a digital positive on the Friday. There is still a LOT of time for you to get a 'clearer' positive and like others have said, there are lots of positive signs.

You're absolutely right. I am going to try and hold off until Friday now. I bought a digital test because I figure, I just want to know one way or the other on Friday.

Having said that, I didn't test for ovulation and AF was a week late last month so I'm presuming it's a 'normal' for me cycle this month but who knows. Hopefully you're able to keep your sanity more than me...

My mad moment of testing this morning came at 6am when my 8yo son woke me up to ask me to read him Harry Potter (left him on a cliffhanger last night at bedtime). So even though it was negative, I did then get warm sofa snuggles with my boy reading to him and that took the edge of any disappointment off... And then I went through all the emotions before school drop off, including yelling that he was 'GOING TO MISS YOUR WINDOW FOR BREAKFAST IF YOU GO ANY SLOWER!" and then getting all teary. Roll on Friday!

The what’if ing is so hard on us, it’s such a rubbish time yet it can lead to the best news of our lives. I don’t measure heart rate or temperature, i’m unsure if i will or not. I think i’d be rubbish at it and it’d only give me something else to work myself up over. I’m such a worrier wish i wasn’t. I keep feeling that feeling too of “right bet ya when i wipe this is it” but not yet. Thanks you for your positive energy you’re very kind 💛. It’s in the back of my mind tho that i might’ve missed the boat as i’m too old 😢🤷🏼‍♀️ hope not tho. Hopefully it’ll just take longer and i’m not closed for business completely

@PoppyGirl222 maybe you ovulated a bit later which it why it isn't as dark as you hoped? Hopefully a few more days and you'll see a definite line! 💓
You're right about the what if's, its mentally so hard, even if you try to not think about it, its hard to put it out of your head.
I'm due on 14th apparently, but I don't normally hav a 14 day luteal phase, its normally 12/13, so thinking due tomorrow or thurs
