12 days late, BFN, positive opk

hey ladies im Sooo confused.
I'm cd 40.
I got my opk peak on cd 20
BFN tests (Inc this morning)
No signs of my period. Cervix is high.
Couple days a go I started getting discharge, like ewcm but thinner. I did an opk and it was low.

Today I've had proper ewcm so I took another opk and it's high/possible peak

The preggo tests in using are internet cheapies if that makes a difference.

I was meant to see Dr tues but they cancelled and rebooked for Thursday next week 🙄

So I'm cycle day 50.
No signs of my period, not even any spotting.

Drs appointment booked for Thursday so we'll see what they say.

@SkaterChick Hopefully you get some answers keep us posted! My boobs are absolutely agony still it's ridiculous. I'm cd45 so right behind you but my docs appointment not until 29th. Might try to call and bring it forward but not really sure what to explain to reception when they ask why 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm a little older than you OP but my cycles have gone haywire this last few years and I've had several months with very late periods or some just skipped altogether.
I put it down to peri

When I did fall pregnant I got my positive on cd56 (although hadn't tested earlier so can't say when I'd have first seen a faint line). It was a strong dye stealer when I tested and I now know I would have been about 5 weeks pregnant at that point.

I've id got pregnant from my first opk peak in Dec, I'd be around 7 weeks and would have expected something on the test I took Saturday but was BFN
And if I ovulated at my second peak im approx 8dpo but I don't know if what to think tbh 😂

An LH surge doesn’t guarantee ovulation. I would say you didn’t ovulate in December and your body geared up for another go. Hopefully you’ll get a positive or as period soon so you know either way.

I done a clear blue yesterday, stark negative. One last night which had a thin blue line within 3 minutes and I just went to do another one and very faint but 100% a line 😳 so going but me thinking I actually ovulated late last sun/mon puts me at 7/8dpo.

So you could and have probably ovulated later than you thought as like I said I was like you I had positive opks Dec but then I had another one last week. So fingers crossed you get some answers soon or the doc can do a blood test for you x

Dr is calling me at some point today so we'll see what they say.

This may be one of those months where you skip a period completely OP.
Google will tell you various reasons why it can happen but when it's happened to me I've never found out why.
Then the next month it's just reverted back to normal.

My cycles went from regular like clockwork to all over the place around 6m ago
I had a 45 day cycle in October time.
The weird thing is the random positive test 😅 I can only imagine it was for whatever reason a false positive at this point cause I absolutely don't think I'm preggo. I thought it was going to be a chemical until the period didn't come.

Spoke to Dr.
First thing they're going to do is have me in for a blood panel. If that flags nothing I'll be sent for an ultrasound to just check everything out.

The random positive test is more than likely a false positive as I thought, especially as I've had multiple negatives since but gave me the spiel about pains and ectopic pregnancy etc

Ovia says my period is due Tuesday - this is based off the second lh peak.
Samsung health said period is due in 2 days, this is based off my average cycles cause I don't input the dates or data to Samsung health, I was so regular before it was a handy reminder!

I had some very light spotting today, some pink streak mucus when I wiped.
I have some mild one sided cramps this evening also.
If no period by Tuesday I'll take another test incase I did ovulate with that second surge 🤞🏼🤞🏼

How frustrating for you! Everyone always says how rare a false positive is but they do seem to crop up a fair bit!

My period arrived and it's fucking brutal.
Really bad cramps, heavy and small clots in there, not fun.
Anyway.. onto the next cycle.
I think I wanna try temping but I really need one that doesn't beep loudly and stores the temps.

Hi all just thought I would update for anyone following, I got my blood panel results back today and they showed my thyroid is out so my meds are being increased for that and then another blood panel in 6 weeks.
