LOL,

I had no strange dreams with DS, maybe I'll get more just minus Boris Johnson.

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 14:03

Hope so - for your sake!

I got them with DS1, but don't think I did with DS2, or the MC. Don't remember doing so anyway!

Still keep staring at the tests

calsworld · 02/05/2008 14:06

I had lots of raunchy dreams when I was pg with DS!

When does the 2ww start if you don't know when you OV? If I'm CD20, think I might have OV'd CD 18 or 19 as more CM than usual and some light cramps.Think AF is due on CD31...

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 14:07

I have looked at my tests again this morning. Dunno why. I'm really tempted to do another test but I don't have one.

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 14:08

I think the 2WW thing is just a saying for the LP, so just as your LP might not be 2 weeks, the 2WW might not be 2 weeks IYGWIM?

So you would say you are now on the 2WW.

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 14:10

Kayz if it is just for the sake of seeing the BFP again, get eBay cheapies and take no notice whatsoever of the strength of the line. If you are worried get a proper test, else you'll be second guessing the cheapies.

You're not worried though, are you?

calsworld · 02/05/2008 14:11

Cool. I'm on the 2ww everyone!

DAS just fallen asleep in my arms so off to try to catch up on last nights broken sleep..

See you all later, x

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 14:13

I am a bit yes. Mainly because most girls in the due dec that havent got symptoms are all booking scans and going to the EPU for a scan. I wasn't worried before yesterday but now I'm terrified.

Playingthewaitinggame · 02/05/2008 14:15

ok, completely off subject and rather randon questions. Are any of you lot not christian? If not, did any of you get your children christened? If you did how did you resolve this with yourself (i.e stating publically that you believed in Jesus etc etc and vowing to bring you dc up within the church?

Just trying to work out where I stand on all of this myself. I have an element of my own personal faith and beliefs which is broadly in line with christianity but I certainly would not call myself a christian or go to church. If I cannot call myself a christian, I really would rather not get my dcs christened, I think I would be better off going for a naming ceremony but I can't still can't shake the feeling that a christening is important to me. So much so in fact I am even considering possibly starting to go to church to work out how I feel about the whole christianity thing, to help me decide which way to go. I know this sounds insane as i am not pg yet but it is something that I do want to get my head round before I am overwelmed with hormones! What do you think?

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 14:19

I am not a christen but we had DS christened. I just said I was as did many of the people there as none of them are real christens.

You can just have a naming ceremony at a church if that's what you like.

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 14:27

Playingthewaitinggame · 02/05/2008 14:39

Hey thats great news Kay.

See the thing is I don't want to promise something I don't mean. I dunno..., really doing nothing more than thinking "aloud" tbh. Nice to share the ramblings in my head though.

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 15:21

Kay, if you are worried, ask for a scan/go private, but (and I know my ramblings won't stop the worry, I think worry comes with the territory) having no obvious symptoms really isn't anything to worry about. It annoys me when people try and make out that if you are really sick then the pregnancy is some how stronger, or healthier, it is utter bollox.

Playing, neither of us are christened, and neither are the boys, I agree with you in the point of I don't want to promise a lie, and I also think that in todays (and tomorrow's) society, I'd like to think that the kid's will take a long hard look before they 'sign up' to any religion, if that's what they wanted to do. Having said that, DS1 goes to a RC school

I just got some cheapy reins to see if they would do the job before spending a lot on them, and the resounding answer to do they work is nope! He still sits down whenever he feels a tug on them! One way or another he is going to have to get used to walking outside, I am not having a double buggy!

Oh and hoorahhhhh for Kayz DS

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 15:24

You could get a buggy board maybe Nat.

DH doesn't think there is a problem either. Some of them said that their MW's have said that having morning sickness is a sign you have a healthy pregnancy.

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 15:26

Oh Tink, I don't know what to do about the doctors, with DS2 I did all I could to get out of going until the last minute, but this time, I really would like an early scan to put my mind at rest. I feel a bit of a dummy ringing so early

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 15:27

Ring them. It wont hurt and then you can get an early scan.

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 15:28

MW are talking shite, you have already had a successful healthy pregnancy with no morning sickness, I've had two of them, others have had them. I think it is something like 40% of pregnancies have morning sickness, so that is 60% that don't!

Besides people who have MC's still get morning sickness, it really is no sign of things to come at all.

kayzisexpecting · 02/05/2008 15:30

I hereby promise to stop worrying from here on in!!

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 15:30

I think I'll leave it till next week at least before I ring them.

I bloody hate going to the doctors for myself. Don't especially like it for the kids mind, but I always feel like I am just wasting their time, even when something is deffo not right!

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 15:32

I thank you

It's like I said, worrying comes with the territory, and that goes for whether it is your first or seventh, and whether you have a 'history' or not.

You just have to make sure you balance the worry with the good stuff
