Kay I have just looked on the other thread (lady with tonsilitus) and she said pineapple juice is great for all throat infections, you gargle with it then swallow..... go girl go get yourself to the cornershop for some....

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 11:48

Oh my dd is stunning. I love her so much and she is beautiful.....

Sorry just had to tell you all....

tinkisexcited · 10/05/2008 12:17

thanks ladies
lol ll am i a genie lamp

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 12:24

Yes and a lucky one at that... I want some of that luck...

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 12:35

I say lucky in a good way hope that didn't sound bad...

Diege · 10/05/2008 13:35

We know what you mean LL . Seeming as we all have only 15% chance of getting a bfp even if sperm meets egg, then I think good fortune does come into it in the nicest sense of the word!
Rain and been and gone, so may venture out again with dds this afternoon. Always easier to be out than in with LOs!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/05/2008 13:37

Correction Diege, it is always easier to get DH out with the DC's while you laze around on MN eating doughnuts

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/05/2008 13:38
Diege · 10/05/2008 13:43

PMSL Nat, I read the sticky keyboard before the donut thing, and of course thought filthy thoughts (you and your goffing being what it was ).
DH away till tonight, hence full on survival strategy!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/05/2008 13:45

LOL, there has been none of that going on, aside from the fact that I am alseep 5 minutes after the kids go to bed, I am being all moody and grumpy for no reason at all, and can barely bring myself to say anything other than the odd grunt. Some would say I don't need to say anything other than a grunt though I suppose!!

The words "I am not in the mood" keep popping out of my mouth for some reason!

ReachOutAndTeuch · 10/05/2008 13:45

Mmmmm....donuts! I am on a strict regime since I did that stupid 'what sealife creature do you weigh the same as' at the SeaLife Centre... . I was a whole ston heavier than I thought I was, and that was already too heavy!!!

Not a diet, obviously, but no chocolate, crisps, cakes, biscuits, delicious things... . I just can't bear to end up heavier than I am. I was actually half a stone lighter after the birth of DC1 than when I fell pregnant so hoping if I take it easy I might just keep things under control

I also reckon that the lack of wine/lager should help somewhat, as I expect this is where a lot of that extra-extra stone came from.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/05/2008 13:47

Teuch, if you already have an extra extra stone, then another extra doughnut stone can't hurt.....

glaskham · 10/05/2008 13:50

haha!! extra-extra stone!! I have one of them too....thoguht i weighed one thing, weighed myself and was shocked to see a number higher than i thought!! though it'snot stopped me eating what i want....just made me buy a bike....though i still haven't got out on it as i haven't yet got a trailer to put the LO's in!!

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 13:54

Ohhhhh being pg is the only excuse to bing out imo...

I put on 5 stone with dd but did go mad with the lard...... I still have a stone to lose before I am back to pre pg weight... he he but who cares (me actually)

Right I need a slap... I am actually thinking (no starting to believe) that I could actually get pg this month... how stupid am I?

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 13:55

oh and by the way did I tell you all that...

my dd is stunning. I love her so much and she is beautiful!!!!!

Diege · 10/05/2008 14:04

Lol Nat, know what you mean..don't think we did it once when pregnant with dd3, though ok with the others!!
I 'just'have the one extra stone to lose, but it hasn't stopped me finishing off dd's lemon merrange(sp?) pie, mmm... I am exercisng more though, so hopefully should remain 'neutral' at the least!

Diege · 10/05/2008 14:05

Err no, don;t remember you saying LL ; go on then, show us a piccy!

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 14:29

I will as soon as I work out how to do it with my camera. Tis new you see..... . She is in a nice summer dress her new sandles and a floppy hat.... bless her.

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 14:31

I need some advise from experianced mummies.... how the devil do you keep little ones out of the bloody fridge. All I ever seem to do at the moment is remover her from the fridge. We can not close the kitchen door as we need the draft from the back door at the moment. Can you get fridge locks???

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 14:32

experienced

Diege · 10/05/2008 14:37

She sounds adorable LL . And yes, you can get fridge locks!!! We haven't needed them ourselves (well, only for the grwon ups) but I know they do do them!! Either that or just load it with vegetables and wait for dd to lose interest

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 14:41

then my wine wont be cold ...

glaskham · 10/05/2008 15:06

my ds is currently into gettign in the fridge, yesterday he pulled my coke out and threw it on the floor and kicked it about because he couldn't get it open!! and he's once got a can of DH's beer out and kicked it round as he couldn't get it open!!!

He also pinches apples and pears and stashes them in his book case in the corner of the dinign room to eat at a later date!!! i keep all fruit and veg at the bottom where he can reach, but he's learnt to take a dining chair to it to get higher!!

lardylumps · 10/05/2008 15:18

ummm i have just caught her in the fidge again and she was eating blueberrys and wait for it..... baked beans.... yuck, to think that I spend a lot of time and efford with her diet and this is what she chooses to eat.... there was chocolate in the fridge for gods sake

glaskham · 10/05/2008 15:26

haha!! my ds has once tried to eat butter... luckily i got to him after just 1 bite!! the things they choose to eat.... was she eating them together???
