here we are all in honour of NJ's BFP!!

I'm still here........

But going to bed coz i've only just realised how blimin late it is!!!

Still no period for me & another negative test this morning. (c&p from temp thread)

Ok here's the possibilties:

1. I'm pg and the tests are crap and not picking it up (highly unlikely to not get a +ve at 15dpo, surely)

1. I'm not actually 15dpo at all and the temps around O (done with a different thermometer) are not accurate and should be discarded.

1. I'm not pregnant and have extended my LP to 14 days and will come on today.

1. This cycle is annovulatory and feck only knows what's going on!?!

This leaves me, as I see it, with 2 options.

Either i wait for 18 temps above coverline and if no positive result or period, go to the GP and ask for advice/bloods.
Or, change the dates on my chart and see if i have O'd at all this cycle and if so calculate when I'm now likely to be due.

Please someone tell me if I have actually gone mad

I'm trying to figure this out logically. I'm now starting to be convinced that my O temps need to be discarded.

BTW Tink I wouldn't wait any longer if I were you, LP14 is as long as they usually get and you've had all the right signs this month.

I don't feel as bad this morning, just tired really. DH is still in bed and I have had to get up with DS which is a bit annoying.

Staying local today as dh away till late tonight and energy levels are low. Weather's looking good, though not sunny as such, so think we'll go to the local plant fair and have a walk around the village. Still recovering from the hell that is playbarn land

You should go by last period date I would say, unless your Health authority is forward-thinking enough to go by ov dates!! (some are starting to..)

I've just done a search and I got my BFP on the 3rd of April. The doctor told me at the hospital that it was impossible I got a BFP on the 3rd April as it wasn't 4 weeks from my last period which was the 9th March. Bloody idiot!! It is 2 days under 4 weeks!!

LL- yeah she's very exited, she's never even ttc for herself so has never felt all the emotions she is now!!

Diege- Yes, My friend will be here when i test on day 14 but i may test on day 12/13 as i'm too nosey!!!

Its wierd being on the 2ww....i never did this with my own.... they just happened!! so i'mhoping my body can work under pressure and make it first time for us!! i'd be a bit gutted with a bfn after all i've done already, and thats without being pregnant!!!

Glaskham, one of my mums friends did it for her sister and her sister got sympathy morning sickness. They thought it was really funny.

I will agree the waiting is horrible.

However, to be boringly sensible...you were temping and thus know when you ovulated, therefore I would say you are 4 weeks . You can either explain that you had huge cycles and hope that your MW takes that into account, or just say you don't know exactly...

That way you will get your scans, tests, etc at the 'right' time, IYKWIM?

I reckon...

1. you are pregnant and, like many, many others, you will not get a +ve until waaaaaayy after period due

2. you are pregnant and are usingthe wrong tests

3. you are pregnant

It would be so good to have a doubler this weekend!!!

Idiot doctor Kay ; they are just so condescending sometimes. My friend who has just had her 4th was asked at the hospital yesterday by a consultant for a non-pregnancy appointment if her children all had the same fathers and shook his head as he noticed she was 'only' 27. She's been married for 10 years (, but so what if not/different dads???)Bet he don't grill the men about their 'fathering' . Sorry, rant over!!!

oh i'll make sure they know just what i'm going through for them!! DH says i become a completely different woman when pregnant!! I was like a spoilt brat if i didn't get my way when carrying my own, crying, pleading, staping of feet!! He'swarned my friend and she's vowed to bend over backwards for whatever i need!!haha....

I'm not sure if what i'm feeling is my head or actually my body telling em things...

With DS i was sick from about 7 days after ovulation, and found out 14 days after ovulation because of sickness, not missed period. I was walkign in town yesterday and felt sick walking past a butty shop and smelling bacon!! and last ngiht i woke up with terrible hunger pains when i ate at the same time, and the same amount as i normally do...and this mornign i feel starving but everythign makes me feel sick!!!....if this is a sign then its not looking good....i dotn want hyperemesis again, i ahve 2 kids to care for....

although i di know it is very early to get any symptoms yet, i'm only 4 days past ovulation!!!

Well, Squack...you are still above coverline and it might be that you actually OV'd 24-48 hours later than shown on your chart...I looked at a few others and not many have OV day right at the start of increase IYKWIM...And your OPK clearly indicated the surge that comes before OV.

Still looking good! And Tinks got that temp drop as well in the last few days
