Squack, know completely what you mean about hyperemesis. Have had it with 2 out of 3 pregnancies, and I think Moosma is a fellow sufferer too? I am ashamed to write that at one point (when it returned with a vengeance after returning from drip-jobby in hospital)I was hoping to see blood. That sounds appalling I know , but one of those things you can only perhaps understand if you've been there

Playingthewaitinggame · 08/05/2008 12:55

Yay Key, what great news!

Teuch, I am sure everything is fine, its ealry days yet for symptoms.

Tink - sorry know nothing abotu temping.

Deige, I know what you mean about enjoying the summer whilst I am childless. I am trying to convince myself that too , just getting fed up with enjoying my childless summers, much rather be at the park with a LO or something. Anyhoe, enough of that, I am trying to only do positive thinking at the moment.

Playingthewaitinggame · 08/05/2008 12:56

oops I am the typo queen, obvioulsy I mean Kay .

Squack · 08/05/2008 12:58

I have to admit Diege I was a little unsure about posting my confession there.

BUT unless you've been sent to hospital because you're so ill you can't keep water down for over 3 days, then no, I really don't think saying that is a bad thing.

It's a pretty desperate place iirc and is a bloody wonder I ever decided to do it again!

With the boys I was sick, but it wasn't nearly as bad as with Dd. The good thing was that by 14 weeks it was gone.
The poor souls who suffer for the entire pg have my deepest sympathy.

Diege · 08/05/2008 13:09

Phew, I was a bit worried after I'd posted too!! [blush[. Hope I didn;t offend anyone My HG also only lasted till 14 weeks, then just the usual morning puke and as I have 3 dds there may be something in the sickness = girl thing!! At least there are a few HG sufferers on here so we can support each other when we get out BFPS!!

tinkisprayingforahighertemptom · 08/05/2008 13:32

gr8 news k how exciting

Diege · 08/05/2008 14:27

Yes TYinks it could certainly be, going by your chart and dates . I think the brown spotting would fit with that too . I'm sure it's on the chart, but is this your first baby? Just wondering (if not) how your symptoms compared with previous pregnancies?

Diege · 08/05/2008 14:27

Meant the wagon list, not your chart!

Meeely2 · 08/05/2008 14:34

Nope no pics. They wont give you pics at the EPU for some reason.

I have just had a really long sleep and I feel much better. I really fancy a pizza though and we don't have any.

We didn't get to go to the beach as we thought it would be better for DH to get to work instead as he had yesterday off.
