Obviously carrying on from previous conversations so feel free to carry on here if you still need the space... I know I do!!

I did a couple of cheapies today (following my week of up and down testing for those who are familiar) and still positive but don't seem to be progressing so I'm fully preparing myself for the worst now. They are nowhere near as dark as I'd expect for 18DPO either and AF is now 4 (nearly 5) days late. I've had some twinges and mild cramps today so guessing that's the beginning of the end and expect AF to show up in the next couple of days - kind of just want it to happen now so I can move on.

I really want to stop testing now too and just wait but we're going out with close friends on Saturday and we'd decided to tentatively tell them as they'd obviously wonder why I wasn't drinking anyway, but I'd rather get a negative test and just drink and not tell them if that's the way it's going

What a bloody week!!

I’m 7 dpo today and felt some strong twingy cramping on my right side. I also smelt some sushi today that smelt absolutely awful, and have had a bit more CM than usual the last few days (I think). I’ve also had very low level sort of cramps on and off since ovulation but I don’t even know if they’d count as cramps or just ever so slight weird feelings.

I know it’s too early but did a test anyway and of course it’s negative but you never know!

I’m on letrezole to induce ovulation as I have PCOS and don’t ovulate naturally, but the strips made me 90% sure I ovulated on the 12th/13th of December, around CD14/15.

Sending baby dust to all December peeps!

MummyV2021 · 20/12/2024 09:51

@Hfair1 fingers crossed for you lovely!!

I've done a CB this morning and it's still saying 1-2. Was weirdly hoping it would be negative! Or obviously 2-3. So feel like I'm in such a limbo right now 😭 phoned the midwives and they were no help whatsoever. Basically said to test again in 2 weeks and that they would only see me at EPU if I was bleeding. I guess I just need to carry on for now as though I am pregnant and just wait a week to do another test to be sure. Just so awkward with it being that time of year when people expect you to have a drink so it's a lot harder to hide

Oh @MummyV2021 sorry you’re going through this, hope you get clarity soon.

Gingernut1989 · 21/12/2024 01:23

Hoping I can join. I tried to start a post of my own but no replies as of yet so jumping on here 😊

I ovulated around 3rd December. Loads of ewcm, solid smiley on clear blue ovulation etc. Ewcm dried up within a day of the solid smiley. I still have no period and negative pregnancy tests so unsure where I stand at the moment. I kind of just want AF to arrive so I can start the next month trying again.

Tentatively saying hello 👋

MummyV2021 · 21/12/2024 08:40

Thanks @Sunch ! AF finally arrived today with a vengeance - can tell it's not a normal period. I feel sad and relieved at the same time. I knew deep down it wasn't a viable pregnancy but it's sad seeing the confirmation isn't it.

Hello @Gingernut1989 !! Fingers crossed for you! So frustrating when it feels like all you're doing is either waiting to ovulate or stuck in the TWW isn't it?!

Hi Ladies, hope you’re having a restful Sunday. I need a little advice please - really confused at the minute.

Funny thing is going on with me this cycle. I came on as usual around the 10th, had a weird period, brown blood although light then two light red period days and then a wierd sort of liquid, not as thick as blood but brownish in colour, all together 5 days (which is how long my periods usually are), thought nothing of it although my periods are normally normal red blood. Then two days later CD7 my boobs/nipples sensitive as hell and sore. I’m on CD13 today and a little light spotting and boobs still killing. Have no idea what’s going on. Took a pregnancy test on CD9 (first pic), then took another yesterday CD12. I’m going to take another on Boxing Day (don’t want additional stress over Christmas).

That does sound strange! I can def see something on the FRER! Is there any chance you ovulated later than you thought? I'd expect that positive to be a lot darker than that if your bleeding was implantation bleeding to be honest. For me it could be one of two things - weird cycle with later ovulation than expected or you actually had a chemical which is what your bleeding was and you're still testing slightly positive from that. Definitely test again after Christmas and see where you are and like you say, try not to stress/worry. Will be thinking of you 😘

Thankyou @MummyV2021 - yah it’s a weird one. I’ll wait til after Christmas and deal with it then, but it’s difficult to get out of your mind when your body is doing all sorts. Will let you know how I get on x

@MummyV2021 I spotted a tiny bit yesterday and again today. I had wanted to wait til after Christmas to test again, but thinking I may need to do it sooner in case something is wrong/right? See previous posts for context

Hi I've been very quiet as been busy with work.
I'm 10dpo not tested yet I've cramps in the middle low down above/behind my pubic bone. (I normally get period pain in my ovary area and never had this ) my lower back is in bits aswell, natural cycles states AF due 26/27
I've been very emotional since Saturday.
I'm tempted to take IC but on the other hand I Dont know if I stand the limbo during Xmas if I get bfn. Has anyone got a bfp 10dpo on IC?
I have no sore boobs like I normally would after after ovulation (confirmed with opk and bbt
I'm praying its our month and would be the best Xmas present to suprise the husband with after another mmc & D&C in October.
❤️

OscarVictorEcho · 23/12/2024 22:11

Hi...continuing on here from the last thread. AF is 3 days late so I sent my partner to pick up a pregnancy test while he was out doing the Christmas food shop this morning and I got a BFP! This was my 4th cycle TTC no 2, but only the first cycle where I did ovulation testing. Ovulation happened on CD17 which was a bit later than I expected so I'm wondering if we were having sex too early in the previous cycles!

Oh bless you, it's so confusing isn't it?! And so hard to know what to do for the best. If doing the test will help you then you should but only you can really know for sure. The midwife I spoke to told me that unless there's pain or an unusual amount of blood then waiting is the best thing to do and that doing tests can just drive you crazy. But it's already been a few days since you tested so you might get an answer either way. Would you do an FRER? Best thing would be to stick with a brand you've already used as they all vary so much!

If you can, I'd recommend a pink dye test - they're much clearer at this early stage if you're unsure.

Here's mine at 9/10DPO on a FRER.

It’s okay - took a test and have confirmation that it’s a BFN. Glad that’s all cleared up. Bob soreness has calmed down too - that’s what got me on this merry go round in the first place lol. Thankyou for your advice.

I’m 12dpo today and had have some really light brown spotting last night, some light pink middle of today and some light brown again tonight. Negatives on tests this morning, but just did a FRER before bed and I see a vvvvvvfl. I did two different FRER to see if it was an indent and it’s on both as well as the fainted line ever on the pregmate one.

Thoughts? 🙏

Hi ladies ❤️ I'm a day before my period and I just feel something is weird, we're not actively trying and use the pull out method which I know it not 100%. I already have 2 beautiful babies who are now 3 and 2 (on the 30th). Just wanted to speak to someone about it cos I am actually so scared if I am...

abcdefg2020 · 25/12/2024 19:32

I also want to add I had an ectopic pregnancy at the start of the year and now only have 1 tube, I'm not sure if it affects being able to get pregnant again though x
